Please use proper spacing and paragraphs. It was something that happened while I was waiting for the day of the primary school entrance exam. I realised that I had become one of the characters of a shoujo manga that I loved reading in my old life, ‘You Are My Dolce’.
The role I was assigned was a character who bullied the commoner protagonist and tried to get in the way of her love with a rich boy nicknamed Emperor; a typical villainess rich girl, Kisshouin Reika.
At the end of the story, Reika suffered the Emperor’s retribution and even her family fell into ruin. With the villain gone, the protagonist and the Emperor overcame their trials and became a couple. And they lived happily ever after.
Wait, that’s terrible for meee! The manga ended there, but I have to continue living my life after my family is ruined!
The protagonist can enjoy her romance or love or whatever on her own. I’ll erase my presence so that I don’t anger the Emperor.
Eh-? The story isn’t progressing well because there’s no villain, you say? But I’m busy saving up money and studying so that I can live well after the collapse.

I must say it is typical. There’s nothing really new to offer here. You could definitely see this being a one of those popular shoujo school life mangas. Never the less, what shines about the novel is the fact that it follows the daily life of the heroine, Reika Kisshouin. One might think that would be boring, but it isn’t. With a heroine that is both lovable and eccentric, the novel follows her lead making a comedic and entertaining read. One of the selling things about his novel is Reika who stands out as her own individual. Personally I found her very relatable and realistic. It’s easy to adore and feel protective over her as we’re lead from her 6 year old self and throughout her life as a child to teen. Besides the heroine, the other ‘main’ characters and even the side characters are all lovable and funny in their own ways and sure to wheedle in your heart. Very few might not, depending on personal preferences. Despite the large cast of characters, each are given room for their individuality to shine. There could be room for more development for some characters, but considering the type of novel that it is, you don’t wouldn’t find yourself really being concerned about it. Also, it’s still ongoing so that development might be somewhere in the future. Another selling point of this novel is that it’s heart-warming. We see friendships and family bonding made during Reika’s school life. In terms of romance there is none yet, just given very few hints here and there of who the love interest might be. If you’re looking for something funny and light hearted to read, I recommend this. Be warned though- it’s quite addicting and once you catch up you’ll crave for more. (I'd like to add in a shout out to the translator for the translation quality. It's amazing. There's also a kind consideration given from the translator for putting in videos/pitures of references the auidence might not catch (maybe not so kind if you're seeing delicious pics of foods at 12am while reading though).)
It's written like a journal entry. Because of that, it's deemed to be repetitive. The story's promise doesn't help either. It's straight-out boring.
I'm glad that I read some spoilers about it and I'm dropping it on ch15. Thank you, reviewers!
Now the novel, it's pretty good I must say. It's all in a first person perspective but every X chapters you get a POV from other character, the genre is mostly slice of life and comedy and the protagonist's funny (for my taste) and entertaining. The main plot (her family's doom) is not something serious, they talk a lot about food (sweets mostly) and some characters tends to disappear from the novel, not that it affects the story but I missed some of them. If you go to the novel sumary from the translators page, you can see how time goes by the chapters, the novel is divided by primary school/middle school/high school (first/second/third yr). I think it will end after her third yr is complete, .
What mostly catch my atention is the progression of the years, how people's POV see the MC, and the world she's in, it's a modern japan
she meets someone who looks like her cousin of her previous life in that world but never talk to him, maybe the plot would be different if the story focus more in that kind of things
