Rating: 3/5- I’ve read better omegaverse.

This story was a little too ambitious for its number of chapters. The romance between the leads is solely based on a physical relationship and they don’t have a romance concept- like at all. It’s more like the romance is unrealistic and relies on the fated pairs concept.

The side characters had more screen time than the actual ML which wasn’t something I liked. The side characters, however we’re interesting and I would have liked to see more character development with them. The pairing fell flat... more>> because there was no emotional chemistry and all the interactions felt very wooden.

The author put in way too many big ideas without properly executing them. The writing style is also filled with a lot of unnecessary information that only serves to drag the story instead of helping with pacing.

I can’t say I liked the leads of the story, I enjoyed Takanori and Kase and even Renji had an interesting personality. I would have liked the story and ML more if he stayed true to the original janitor concept because that was the highlight of what I wanted to read- spoiler, he’s a janitor for like 3 chapters then BAM! Change of career.

This story doesn’t really excel but I have read worse. So give it a shot when you want something underwhelming but okay. <<less

Good start! Looking forward to MC and MLs love development. Unfortunately, I Couldn't find a free raw of this. Thanks for translating!

Omegas are unfortunate in the setting here, and the ML is introduced as a janitor only unlike the typical overbearing president alpha so it greatly piqued my interest! Will rerate.

Heads up, if you are the kind that has an aversion to bullying, DO NOT READ THIS. Or skip that chapter 4.2. My blood pressure spikes up at that part LOL. Are the adults around the school unreasonable or too s*upid to sense that there's bullying happening? or planned s*xual assault? how about security? It's like everywhere, security is horribly lax. Even in ancient era I don't think it will be easy to do criminal-level things... The main characters are fine but the world is quite shaky. For readers who... more>> care more about characters, you will like this. Oh well, I'll just shelf it as the author wanted to compromise the plot to create drama. For fluff readers, Seme is very nice and respectful. Uke is likeable as well, just misunderstood.

It's not bad... but not good either. It's an okay read that can be finished in oneshot, like a one volume manga. Super simple old concept omegaverse. I will describe it as a shortie about fated love and cinderella seme version.

as a nice touch, like a few jnovels, this one also has illustrations and it's nice to see a few scenes drawn. <<less

As usual I like translation from Exiled Rebel Scanlations. I read a lot of BL manga from their website.

Although this novel has a happy ending and MC was blessed in ALL & EVERY way except born as a male omega (the ONE and ONLY "flaw"), I felt while reading that the writer's intention was mostly focused to show how badly helpless being an omega (rich or poor) vs meany in society, so much that the negativity (social isolation, pheromones) weighted more on the balance despite the positivity (intelligence, beauty, family... more>> status and wealth, family support). In this novel, MC could solely depend on "fate alpha" to be saved each time.

The good in this short novel are short smut... and the fate of the pair. Although I usually ❤️ story with "fate"... here the "fate" part is kind of exaggerated and the "love" part is very undeveloped.

My bad... trying to express with my basic English exhausted me! <<less

Parts of this were so bad that I surprise myself by actually liking this. Could be because I skimmed.

The story is so short, the MC barely gets time around the ml, but there was enough room to include a kidnapping plot.

The entire arc with Sagano was just s*upid. A strange letter comes out of nowhere talking about his huge secret, and he doesn't stop to wonder that it's strange? When the only people who found out about it that could have blabbed were the three people that tried to assault him? Other than them, only the school dean, a friend of his father, and the school doctor knew, there were rumors but nothing about him being an omega was mentioned, so I don't see what about that situation made him think going was okay. Turns out Sagano was told the truth by a helper of the main guy who tried to assault him, who would have r*ped him if he wasn't helped out of the situation by the ml. Even if he was that deseprate to meet other omegas, he could have made it a day trip, his family had drivers, someone could have waited on him and left only after he decided he'd feel safe there. Because it was a group meeting where they'd all sleep over for a few days, but he knew none of them and thought there'd be no issues going to stay there. I'm surprised his family didn't at least insist on a guard. I skimmed it, but they were mostly rude to him, and he overhears them insulting him because they think he's too privileged. It was even implied they could have invited people to beat him up if he wasn't the son of someone important.

So he goes out for a walk after overhearing them and ends up kidnapped by two psychos 🙄 just gets in the car of two more strangers without concern after he was just betrayed by another group of strangers.

I was not a fan of this story. The MC was really quite ignorant to generally everything in the world around him. He went from standoffish to needy in less than a chapter. He willingly got into a unknown person's car. He was suppose to be top of the class but I guess book smarts are very different from street smarts. One would think that, from an early age, from a prestigious family, he would kinda know not get in cars or meet strangers over night. There was lots of... more>> repetition and switching from the woe is me and I am so loved throughout the whole 9 chapters. It got pretty annoying. He was very wishy-washy. I was definitely sad that the ML was not very involved with the story. There seemed to be no character growth in respect to the MC and no relationship growth between the MC/ML. <<less

This was really sweet and I also really loved it. I didn't have high expectations for this one so I wasn't disappointed.

The MC was cute and really nice. Though there were people who did things to tease him, make him uncomfortable or just to be mean, bc he wasn't sure if they did it on purpose (even though we could tell they had bad intentions) he never judged anyone and did not put any blame on anyone until he was sure of his suspicion.

The ML was not obsessive, overbearing, too... more>> dominating or toxic at all, this was my favorite part about him. He loved the MC and respected him, bc its on the tags I don't think this is a spoiler but, I really want to say I was a little bit surprised when they found that the MC was pregnant, one of the first things he asked was if he was ok with it (or something along the lines, I don't have a good memory), but the ML was worried for MC the bc he was still young (17-18) and was in school, he didn't want the pregnancy to be like a nuisance to the Mc; and when he gave birth, the ML bowed and thanked him, this was my first time actually reading a ML do this in all of the novels I've read.

Yes, the ML didn't appear that much, but he was always mentioned. I think the story was mostly focused on the MC and how he handled every change that was going on with his life taking a complete turn on how he had it planned. Plus, I think the scenes where the ML appeared were spot on and I'm ok with him not having to be with the MC every single time, just bc they are in a relationship doesn't mean they have to stick like glue.

Also, it was made clear that the ML

was getting trained and studying to take over as the heir of the family business bc he new nothing about it, so he obviously wasn't going to have time to always spend with the MC. I think that was understandable and I'm glad he actually did that bc in a lot of novels it's like they just forget they have jobs or they leave everything to their assistant/ secretary.

One thing I did want to see happen was

the MC dealing with the other omegas, and I don't mean deal with them in a horrible way or ruin their life's, but just for them to realize that they shouldn't judge people by their status or if whether they are more privilegedor not. I wanted them to apologize to the MC and admit their wrong doings.

I gave it 4 stars bc there were parts in the story were the MC would be describing something or just say things that weren't really necessary so I just ended up skimming past it, and bc I was hoping that the ML would not end up

I want to read a story where the shou has more power than the gong and not changing at all, bc I've also read ones where by the end of the story they decide that the gong has to be more powerful or richer than the shou out of no where.

Okay so I kinda love Omegaverse stories. So I knew I would enjoy this one but it's also kinda weird.

It feels like reading a manga. There is like high tension high stakes IMMEDIATE RESOLUTION kinda of drama. It doesn't feel like I get to explore the psyche of the MC or ML and honestly they are barely together. They kinda just get married.

That said, I thought it was a interesting take on omega crabs in a pot.

The desire for a supportive community being contrast with people who share your marginalized identity being full of resentment toward you for things that you don't control like being born with a silver spoon in your mouth.

The side characters might be nasty mouthed jerks, but the social group leader seems to have been disowned by his family. So his tragedy might have just been a there for a comparison to show how good the MC's family is but it does tell us that the caution in revealing his gender was not really outside of a reasonable concern to have. MC was pretty much immediately attacked once it was revealed on more than one occasion.

A novel set on omegaverse. An omega from noble family forced to live as beta, due society circumstances. He meets an alpha, who works as school gardener, his fated pair. It´s a short story, very enjoyable. Lacks a little bit of fluffiness, but by other hand there are enough smuts passages.
