antarctic/arctic, bermuda triangle, Sahara, the whole water demon civilization, Senior Hunter promotion, Khufu stuff/dark plane (Wen Tai stuff)... nothing beyond the mage city battle. This was literally what I expected to happen but it just did not. Author just... got bored, I guess, and decided that screw it, cba. Sad
What also truly made me sad was the fact that even though MC had 7 elements, during the fights he barely utilized more than 2. The space element and the chaos element felt like some giga OP thing but in the end it was barely used. It was always the same thing: pretty much fist fighting while possessed by Flame spirit... I dunno, felt super lacking.
Multifight battles felt terrible as well. From how it was written it felt like whenever MC fought one of the enemies in the pack, rest were just afk waiting for the fight to end before they joined in. Sometimes it made sense. Sometimes (most of the time) it did not.
Power of enemies also felt weird. Plenty of times I expected an enemy to be very strong and yet MC easily defeated it with no seemingly big improvements in cultivation. Flame Belle's power was weird as well. Sometimes she is uselss, sometimes she just solo's the fight. I think it was during the black church arc where she solo'd. Maybe I'm wrong. Nonetheless, it was very unexpected and felt wrong.
It also felt weird when 95% of female characters were godly beauties. At some point I just didn't even know if yet another godly beauty was actually attractive. I guess only Mu Ningxue was sort of the most beautiful one since it was mentioned plenty of times... I dunno, this whole beauty thing just felt annoying
Behavior of MC also felt cringe at times. His desire for intimacy was a bit too much to handle sometimes, too cringe.
First, the magic system, it's really bad.
Second, the childishness of the characters and all that 'I'm rich, I'm better than you', etc.
Third, Inconsistency in spell names, how they work, names of things, names of objects, etc. Basically, everything is subject to changing the way they were defined.
Fourth, repetition. Just like: He died. He is dead. He's definitely dead. So is he dead? The author takes the adage further: "Important things are said 3 times." And uses that for everything that is said.
Fifth, the explanations leave something to be desired. Out of nowhere comes information about things or information about things that 'happened' but had never been mentioned.
Sixth, the contradictions.
Seventh, Example: Guard) There is a secret passage that leads to place X. *Opens the passage*. MC) Where will that lead? There's a lot of it. And it's not just the MC.
Ignoring all that, you should be able to entertain yourself enough with this novel.
