I read the webcomic for the first half, and read the novel for the second. I recommend this novel just for the face slapping moments. The protagonist is competent and mature, and the ML is very cute. I enjoy their relationship together, even though it becomes kind of meh after the first half. There are some annoying misunderstandings in this novel, but they get resolved quickly. Romance is not the focus of this novel, but I have to recommend this. The MC's relationships with her brothers and sister is so adorable and I would say this is a pretty enjoyable court drama that's easy to read. Super entertaining. The ML is a yandere, but so far in the book he hasn't gone too far. He just acts like a d*ck to the MC now and then. Their relationship is cute and they often argue a lot with each other like a newly wed couple. It takes a while for the ML to warm up with the MC, because he's in love with his adopted sister (this plotpoint goes away quickly if you're uncomfortable with this) in the original story. There's an actual plot as well which is set in ancient china and the characters are demon slayers. Overall, a recommended read but the ML can be a d*ck sometimes.... more>>

An enjoyable story where the MC doesn't care about morals and just cares about getting cash. The face slapping in this novel is very enjoyable, and I actually like the dynamic between the MC and the ML. They're partners in crime.
