Super cute, a light read, not many chapters up but I enjoyed it!

Love the mc’s feisty temper as a small cute bird 🐦.

The Duke is an intriguing character!

Not much right now but I’ll update once a lot of chapters are up.

The male lead is toxic. He's very immature and very insensitive. I don't know how no one has even addressed this.

Around chapter 40-50, the ML throws a tantrum and refuses to meet the MC. He doesn't confront the MC, he doesn't tell the MC what's bothering him. He just stops going to the dining table to eat w the MC, he doesn't meet him at all, doesn't allow him into the office and stops training him for Physical training. All of this just because of a jealous streak.

And the ML didn't apologize, there was nothing. I felt so angry and disappointed cus there was just so much potential in this ml. He had the gall to laugh at the MC when he cried in his arms like this. This is terrible.

And when the ml's brother

came over and grabbed the MC's arm so hard that it bruised, the ML didn't deal with it properly. He just gently reminded the kid.

This is a really interesting concept that I don't think is done enough. Where MC gets transmigrated as an animal and have to navigate life from there.

I think this story has so much potential from what's translated so far. The main reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it has an awkward start. The first few chapters of introducing the MC to his new life was fine but it's when he's meeting the ML for the first time that the pacing of the story gets... more>> a little weird.

I also have this pet peeve that drives me crazy is that when a scene is done, and it switches to a different POV of the exact same scene and there's no added purpose to it but to show the other's perspective makes me want to drop a story right then and there. Personally, POV switching on a scene that just happened is only done if it adds depth and context that the reader already doesn't know or can't piece for themselves via context clues. This happens a few times and the POV switches barely adds stuff where I can just forgive it. But still knock off 1 star.

But overall, the writing does improve and you can see the author gain confidence and traction as the plot progresses. I do think this will end up in alot of reader's bookmarks as long ad the author keeps up with this pace.

it's very funny to the point that my mother cussing me out because of my laughter. I like their interactions with each other and it's very healing, I can imagine his cute round white body with fierce angry face snapping at the expressionless duke. The story is interesting and every chapter is funny, worth reading. I really want to read it all but it's ongoing yet so I gotta wait.

Soo this is a very brainless read in my opinion, which isnt exactly bad thing! But its just kinda dissapointing there were some interesting points of conflicts and struggles, that were explored, but in a lackluster way imo. The characters felt kinda shallow and like cardboard cutouts at times. The conflicts in the story felt also very... non threatening? The characters were very frustrating at times not properly communicating, but the conflicts still resolved themselves, without being explored properly. I feel like characters like Doel, Lyras and honestly all of... more>> them had very surface level characters, best way to describe it would be shallow writing ig. I know, Im ripping into this novel, but I really did enjoy reading it, dont get me wrong. Its great for a light read, lets leave it at that. Story is very fun if you dont think too hard! Lol <<less
