MC is the gong. He is straightforward and very pragmatic when it comes to relationships.

This does not contain unrealistic fluffy romance.

It has 3 arcs in total.

Minus 1 star because it ended suddenly. No explanation why MC is world hopping.

I sure does like the story, and our male lead is sure a refreshing character, he is somehow pragmatic but once he set his mind on something, he is devoted.

Just let me complain for a bit... What's wrong with the ending though? I feel soooo unsatisfied QAQ

I know a lot of comments say MC is a scumbag, but, I for one, don't like forced romance. MC can say he likes ML even though its the opposite of Mc's feelings, that is ok. As long as the MC does not hurt the Ml.

Maybe ML actually has a system and has been playing with the MC. Like, the ML is picking MC gongs in different worlds, and they (The gongs) would turn into or mix into one person?

For me this was literally shit. MC shouldn't divorce his partner. I feel sad for Mc's partner who doesn't want to divorce at first. Even though they're just political Marriage he was angry and beat MC and ml. And MC only care about the guy he had sleep. It was bullish for me. I dropped it.

Loved it so much. These are my favorite type of Mc’s. Yes he was manipulative but he still wasn’t a scum and liked to Ml’s to a certain extent and stayed with them till the end.

this has a Ml’s that’s really in love with the MC and is willing to do anything while the MC is mainly manipulative. Love it so much cause I’m into this type. If you know any other type of novel (bl) like this, feel free to send a message.!!!

To be honest, the semeMC is quite a refreshing character.

Every world was pretty entertaining to read about, very down-to-earth in a way. There's none of that "I can't survive without you, I love you to death etc." though the MLs do tend to the love the MC more than he loves them.

It's weirdly mature at the same time as being mildly tragic (the MC is always valuing things like honor, personal character) more than love, but it's realistic for an older person like the MC who had gone through many... more>> worlds and loves to not really naively give his heart away in the same manner.

3 stars is for the ending, which was very abrupt without a good resolution, otherwise this story could get four from me.

First translator was pretty good, flowed well. Second translator didn't seem to undrestand all of the slang/comedy/colloquialisms written by the author, so the translation suffered a bit. <<less

Something happened to author and they decided to end the story in the middle of an arc. The arc setup was a beast man world where the ML was a wolf and his target was a dragon who needed to beat his brothers for an inheritance. We didn't get to find out how the dragon won his family fight (dragon is still underage when arc ends), and then ML is back in reality facing an arranged marriage with a stranger (we don't even get an end to this arc, it ends when his mom tells him about the arrangement)

I liked it! The ending is abrupt and a bit disappointing but overall a pleasant read. MC is pretty detached emotionally. Once he decides to stay with a person he will, but until then he really doesn't care as long as he survives. I felt a little bad for the original fiance in the first story, and Menchuan in the.... Second one? I believe. But elsewhere else it was sorta just mildly fluffy. If you are big into the THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE ML thing, or if you require... more>> your MCs to be paragons of virtue and blame themselves for the actions occurring before they transmigrated, this won't be for you. For me it was a pleasant read. Like I said though, the last two stories are cut very short. I felt like right after the climax, we just switched over with no explanation. <<less

so yes he assaulted the ML but the ML wasn't that mad, he called his husband instead of the police, and still let him live in his home the day after the r*pe, not trying to blame him or the readers but you can't be holier than the pope. After they confirmed their relationship, the ML became a pleaser, he skipped school was ready to give a blow*** anywhere and acted like the perfect housewife, he is literally a person that can be sold and still help you count the money, he is a simp and he lucked out with the MC, any other person would have used and dumped him after, but he got a rich and caring husband who never cheated on him, his life ended up perfect.

2nd arc dude was dropped in a very dangerous world with a husband that ordered his death if he cheated on him while the O.G soul framed him for mu*der, do you expect him to sit there and wait for a death he did not deserve, he manipulated his way out of that predicament, he did anything to keep his head how can you blame him, the Male lead here actually got a loyal husband who wouldn't try to frame him for his money and power so compared to the O.G and to any other person cause he is a ticking time bomb, he also lucked out, fight me.

3rd arc was normal no craziness there, twas pretty ok.

I don't get people saying he didn't love them or he was uncaring when MC literally said in the first arc he would dump them if he found love and yet died of old age with them, yeah he didn't carry his yearning to the next world but he already gave a lifetime what more do you want, does he have to chase souls to prove it to you, he already gave them a lifetime. The ending was a rushed, the author had some personal problems. The MC is actually pretty nice and realistic. None of his spouses suffered because of him so chill out dudes.

Overall the story not bad, if you just treated the arcs as individuals stories. Because there’s no explanation or any background regarding the QT or MC (gong) . As many reviewed the MC is very levelheaded guy. He doesn’t “ love” braindead like usual “romance “ novel. It’s quite like normal ppl kinda phase. But he considered very good partner. (Think good old husband) more of affectionate relationship. Other than that there’s no relation between all the world he been through. Well he didn't truly loved and just liked each ML and also kinda just respond to them for his survival/goal, but atleast he stayed faithful to them until the end so yah he stayed with them and have happy ending before moving to another world.
