Ye Buffan traveled to the book world where the villain was in charge and became the protagonist’s parents, the most dangerous profession.

A petal fell, and Ye Buffan felt he could no longer sit and wait to die. He took out his phone with trembling hands and booked a flight leaving Hua Country that night.

“Son, don’t blame your dad. We had no choice.”

On a plane bound for Country A, Ye Buffan silently recited the Great Compassion Mantra nine hundred and eighty-one times.

“Ding, host’s fake death escape detected. Self-rescue system activated successfully.”

An interesting concept done poorly. This is a MC transmigrates into a villain counterattack (protagonist hunting, luck hunting etc) novel as the first protagonist's father. The world wants to kill him in order to make the protagonist have a tragic backstory so he fakes his death (as it says in the synopsis).

Sadly, this is a lazy protagonist and multi pov novel with poor story crafting. It’s mostly side character perspectives and the story routine gets old pretty fast. This could have been decent if the protagonist was more present or... more>> the side characters story was more interesting. <<less

It's a really fun read. Some professional explanations (like medical and stuff) are unrealistic, but they're unrealistic to the point that it's not meant to be taken seriously. If it's only slightly off, it's bothersome, but if it's total bs you just can't care lmao. The winner is usually predictable, but the different plot lines/points, dialogue, and the unpredictability of where the MC intervened keeps the story entertaining :)

Also! The way characters react is extremely satisfying. Like they're normal fcking people, and a normal fcking person reacts this way when you act fcking crazy. People call the police in this novel!!
