In the novel “Ferocious Love of the Wealthy CEO”, the male lead, Jiang Qianchen, has an eight-pack abs, broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and an aloof and cold demeanor, appearing ruthless and unapproachable, allowing no one to come within a meter of him.

On the other hand, Yu Zhi, presented as a white lotus… that seemingly gentle but actually scheming woman, who even after being exposed still obsessively pursues the male lead, eventually meeting a tragic end as his ex-wife.

Yu Zhi: Life isn’t worth it 🙂

She diligently goes through the plot, finally reaching the point of divorcing the male lead and retiring from the scene, only to suddenly realize that something is amiss.

“Sorry, Mr. Jiang, we’ve already divorced…”

Yu Zhi nervously grips her clothes, only to see the man calmly wiping his glasses and saying in a flat tone:

“It seems you still haven’t learned your lesson.”

“Divorce? I disagree.”

Jiang Qianchen thought Yu Zhi asking for a divorce was an accident.

Until he sees his elegant wife, who just a moment ago tearfully said, “I love you, I’ll let you go for your freedom,”

And the next moment, she’s raising a glass with a cute young man on her left hand and a beautiful boy on her right hand, while the rich women raising a toast and scattering money, hosting a singles party.

“Ugh, whoever marries Jiang Qianchen is unlucky. With his cold demeanor like coffin, I, the goddess, refuse to be a widow!”

Yu Zhi rants to her friend crazily. Little does she know, as she turns around, that “coffin” is standing right behind her, looking at her calmly.

“Zhizhi.”

The man scans her sexy short skirt, his eyes behind the golden glasses dangerous.

“Are you done playing around?”

Fake decent female lead x self-restrained aloof male lead

had good potential had the author continue it but looks like it's decided to be dropped and ended the story in one chapter.

the writing isn't bad and I love the fl's characters. I will be waiting for another work.

First things first, translation is good. Now moving on to the novel itself.

It's a short story, so I didn't expect a lot. But, what was this??? It didn't feel like short story at all, more like the author started writing & left it midway. The villain? I don't even know why he was there. The og! Fl? Don't know why she existed either. ML & FL? Did they have a happy ending? Or an ending at all? I don't know. What was the whole ... more>>

need to see Dr Qiao about? That built up all the way to nowhere

why does FL like him in the end? Does ML ever come to know who FL really is as a person? This story just raised questions. I'm just annoyed early in the morning now. <<less

The novel has a good potential however it is ruined because it feels rushed and some chapters leaves me dumbfounded like in the previous chapter they're doing something different and in the next one it looks like a timeskip has occurred suddenly without warning even the ending made me feel dumbfounded and there's so many unanswered question like how did Xu Wenhan knew that Lu Zhenzhen is the "Female lead" and why did it feel like in the beginning of the novel he have feeling for Ye Zhi when ... more>>

he kidnapped her

and how did Zhou Xiajiao (I I think that her name) and Ye Zhi reconcile because at the beginning of the novel they're at odds with each other then suddenly they're good anyways it's a good read you can read this if you're bored or if you want to pass time <<less

The premise of plot was "supposedly" good but poorly executed.

Honestly, FL having excessive "heroine halo" saved her despite doing cringey, dvmb & embarrassing actions. She was overthinker and doing too much without really having a favorable result. Both FL (Yun Zhi) and ML (Jiang Chen) felt cardboard cutouts.

For a short novel, too many unnecessary fillers (like fangirling or showbiz industry when FL wasn't even in the entertainment industry).

An unforgettable story... with characters lacking depth. With plotholes and unanswered questions (esp OG FL and OG 2nd ML). Anyway, it's just good... more>> read to pass time. <<less
