Souya, the manager of a trading company in a small city, is a 37-year-old office worker who enjoys single life.

One day, when he wakes up in a strange meadow, he sees two moons floating in the night sky and regains the memory of being transferred to another world 20 years ago.

An uncle’s adventure in a different world, wearing a business suit, with a low amount of tension, a high level of ability, and a cool but slightly pathetic personality. It’s a different world transition, but it may have an old-fashioned fantasy atmosphere.

So 58 chapters in and I noticed no one has posted a review for this yet. I really like this so far. I had seen a few of the stories where someone who had been summoned to save the world got summoned again, but they all turned out to be disappointing so I was somewhat hopeful when I found this one.

The summary on here is pretty accurate about how it starts. The goddess calls him back and makes his business suit into custom armor basically. She also powers up his... more>> glasses. He's fairly OP since he retained a lot of the magic and other skills he built up the first time he was summoned too, but he is not perfect and still has room to improve/learn new things (he has nearly died once so far). He is not going by the same name as the first time and is trying to fly under the radar while he learns what has changed since he's been gone. So far he hasn't met anyone he knew from the first time around, but he's about to meet someone and I'm super curious how that will play out.

The perspective will randomly swap from first person to third person and back which the translator indicates is how the author wrote it. It can be a bit odd, but so far it's all his point of view so any time it swaps to first person you know it's him at least. I quite like how he frequently thinks back to the way he acted the first time around and makes note of how he has changed/grown up since then. It's an interesting way of doing things that I haven't really come across before and I feel like it adds a bit of depth to the character.

Edit: have now read chapters 58-84

So right around chapter 80 Souya ends up reading a book of the heroic tales of his party from 20 years ago and he's quite embarrassed by it. Not enough for second hand embarrassment, but enough to be amusing. It also seems like we're getting closer to the reason the goddess called him back. I have a feeling we won't get too much further plot-wise since it looks like this has been on hiatus since Nov 2020 (ch129). Here's hoping the author comes back to the story. <<less

The story is alright, a pretty generic story where the MC tries not to stand out but still acts as a regular adventurer. There is foreshadowing of a greater crisis but we've seen no hint of it yet.

The MTL is above average, but occasionally the MC becomes Sawyer and frequently the pronouns get completely mixed up because Google doesn't know who is taking.
