Rated 4 stars because I like these kind of tropes (misunderstanding angst), but stay away if you hate that.

Premise is interesting, the FL can read minds, and even though the ML acts very doting/loving towards her, his inner thoughts say otherwise. It's a very believable reason why FL thinks she's hated, unlike other oblivious heroines. She believed that her fiance loved her until she gained her ability at age 12, where she first read his mind. We get the ML's POV now and then, so we learn he genuinely likes her, so his angst at being hated by his beloved is delicious. (Yeah lol I like this trope okay?!)

The negatives:

- she learns he likes her at the later chapters, but still acts cold/vague towards him due to political stuff. Plus the political plot stuff is kinda shallow and boring.

- the same problem with mtl, japanese doesn't always specify pronounce so you have to judge by context when translating. Mtl sometimes make the wrong judgment, mixing up he/she/I which makes it a bit difficult to read. <<less
