The high and mighty soul of the MC, her way of speaking, and her royal aura are all in contrast with the "ancient world" of nowadays lol.

The concept of coming from a more advanced future (interstellar) and coming to the past (modern) was very novel to me.

It was usually the modern citizen getting thrown into the old imperial era.

MC was the crown prince that failed her revolt because she became soft-hearted at the last second and allowed the king to kill her. So she finds herself reborn in the body... more>> of this "ugly" girl that also has to pretend to be a boy because she was deemed to be too ugly to be a girl (?). The family is the usual abusive relative trope.

Coming with her was her "brain system" which helped her a lot. Thanks to it, she finds out that she's been poisoned, thus the disfigured face. She can heal herself, thankfully. She also quickly left that "family" too.

The ML really behaves like a little rich miss, and I think it's very endearing.

In their first meeting, MC beat him up because he called her ugly. In the second meeting, ML asked for backup from his highly skilled bodyguard to deal with his grudge. Which didn't work at all lolololol.

Think about your usual manhua with the super OP cultivator MC transmigrated into the modern world and the rich young miss that is initially at odds with MC, but then *WHOOSH*

They later get together but ML still thinks she's a boy. ML's mother finds out MC is a girl by pure intuition lol. Idk why, but when MC asked her if she would have approved ML's relationship with another boy, her response... Well. I didn't like it. She said to not even think about such a hypothetical situation. I know gay relationships aren't accepted. But damn mother-in-law, why can't you be more open-minded? I'm kinda ashamed to say that but I may have temporarily dropped this series just because I can't get over ML's mother's conservative thinking...

121 chapters in and the plot hasn’t moved too much. The ML seems to be a snobbish brat, and characters don’t have much depth to them. It’s like they’re assigned this one adjective to them and then their whole personality revolves around this one adjective. MC is basically just “perfect”, ML is “Arrogant”, and I don’t even remember any characters besides them except for Gou ge and Gu lu, with the former having no personality besides serving as a reaction to the MC’s OPness, and the latter, well... is OP... more>> considered a character trait?

The plot seems to be pretty generic. She’s probably (not actual plot, just my guess) from some Big-deal family that got her kidnapped or stolen from them, she’s gonna be a super successful, impacting everyone in China type of Director, wowing everyone, along with some face slapping and showing off MC’s OPness while family drama ensues, and lastly there’s gonna be a side CP that author introduces just to fill more words into the story. (And they get a pet or have a child together. One out of the two.) I probably didn’t get all of them correct, but I’m pretty sure it at least hits the 60% accuracy mark.

It’s another one of those good enough to pass the time, but not good enough to be “good”. <<less
