To be honest, I think people who rate this novel so high are just really... generous, given the scarcity of straight (reverse) ABO. The writing is flowery, meandering and repetitive. The FL is beautiful. The FL is gorgeous. The FL is classy and wears a choker, a suit and gold rimmed glasses.

Not to mention the excessive amount of description about the smells and pheromones and glands. I know it's in the tin, but like... You still have s*x ed class in university? Despite it being mandatory since elementary school? It's like the world is new to the concept of second gender with everyone talking so much about it all the time.

You're just plain s*upid if you go into an ABO novel and get icky about reading ABO stuff.

Which... might be true. I don't have anything against ABO, but to have the leads developing feelings based on smell alone seems so lazy? Not to mention how freaking cursed it is for the smell to be creamy. CREAMY. Of all the smells in the world, this dude had to smell creamy.

And don't say they will only develop their feelings after getting to know each other, because while that might be true for the ML, the FL is already a completely different character from chapter 1. She went from an immortal cold monk in two lifetimes to a besotted and possessive alpha who smiles all the time in two days. <<less

From all the ABO novel out there this by far has won my heart... not only is it a rare to find straight ABO romance but it is beautifully written. It is sweet and heartwarming and I also love the simplicity of relationships, it’s just a slice of life novel with very capable characters. I’m glad that there isn’t a CEO or entertainment queen/king character setting. The idea of the two in laws family interactions and just family moments is so cute and heartwarming not to mention the couple moments... more>> itself.
it has a mixture of some of my favorite tropes:

-dominant female in the relationship (cuz she’s alpha)

-each other’s first time and first love

-wealthy and well matched couple background

-smart and capable protagonists

-flash marriage

-fast pace romance

-proactive mc

-fluffy romance

-heartwarming family moments

-‘cold to everyone but her sweetheart’ kinda mc

-public dog food moments

there is truly no complicated relationships or many ups and downs. The couple communicated every time issues come up and the beauty of ABO novels is usually the bond and emotions that can be easily and uncontrollably be conveyed by partners.
I must say that it’s a very easy and lighthearted read. Just takes one sitting to complete it.

If you’re not in the mood or like such slice of life and easy going stories don’t bother. This has no smut just sprinkles of sugar here and there. <<less

This is so well-written! The romance started immediately because this is in an ABO universe, but you can feel how much the they love each other. It is love that is not due to glands and pheromones, but love that stems so deep emotionally. The most remarkable thing in this novel is the world building and lore. The author explained a lot about the ABO universe and it was written in a way that just flows so well in the story. It does not just cut in the dialogues, it's... more>> so naturally blended in. Y'all the title is misleading af because there was no "geeky girl" here, just a super beautiful, extremely attractive but cold alpha professor and her gentle, smiley but shy omega soldier.

The couple is very fluffy and cute. They fall in love pretty much immediately and there are pretty much no big conflicts in the entire story. The story reads very much like a romance-centred slice of life story because most of the story is focused on their everyday interactions shortly before and after marriage. Most of the time the couple... more>> doesn't interact with anyone outside their immediate family members whom are all very loving and supportive. In this way I think some might find this story to be kind of dull but the couple's so sweet together that I didn't really mind.

I also liked how the author describes life in an ABO world in great detail and with very convincing logic. A lot of the time when you read omegaverse stories, the world building is very weak and the author barely explains anything about how the A's, B's, and O's navigate their specific fictitious universe. Most of the time author just explains stuff by saying "and that's how it is". In this story you can tell that the author put a lot of thought in describing each of the characters' behaviours and actions based on the norms of this particular world. ABO actions are explained according to the scientific laws and theories of their world and most of it makes a lot of sense. Although some of it is similar to other omegaverse settings, the author also includes a lot of details that seem to be unique to this world. For example,

during specific periods, A's and O's will be overwhelmed by the desire to create a physical nest as inspired by their almost animalistic instincts as A's and O's.

Little details like this make the world seem complete. I just wished the story were a little longer so the world and story could be developed even further.

Overall, this was a pleasant read. Only thing that kind of annoyed me was how

thirsty literally everyone was over the MC. Like yeah she's cool and beautiful but the fact that the author feeling the need to repeatedly remind us that she had soooooo many suitors everywhere and is considered to be practically perfect by the entire world was meh. One mention was enough!

I think if you like abo with a alpha girl MC with a stereotypical muscular ML who happens to be an omega which just makes him I guess shy? You will like it. If this was not abo, it would probably just be about an 'alpha' girl who is sexually positive (which is great) and knows what she wants and isn't afraid to ask for it. But it's abo so it's really about the primitive biological urges that makes she sexually dominant and it also made her personality change 180... more>> from the first chapter.

I think it's probably more slice of life. I think for people who like bg and abo will be happy, but for me I don't care for abo so much so I think although I enjoy how s*x is so normalized to discuss and accept in this bis*xual world, I can't quite accept how quickly she changed. There's just not enough depth for me. I think it's a decent casual read. Honestly it would probably be better if it had smut tbh lol. Because then at least there would be depth in some way lol.... That Ling He is a shitty friend. What he's done is too Dangerous, like wtf.

Also, while the novel is worry free and sweet type it's kind of riddled with plot holes and the narrative was written a little messy. So it wasn't very comfortable to read.

Like, I love that it's a rare ABO setting, but I don't like the way it's written so I had to somewhat force myself to read it because I do want to read it. It's weird.

So far the novel is quite interesting with a rare combination, Female Alpha x Male Omega pairing. The FL, so far is written good, she's described as cold alpha but she's not bit*h or jerk type of love interest, cold but still rational. OH AND SHE IS A REINCARNATOR!! For the ML, he's not typical 'weak' omega like in yaoi omegaverse, he is quite tall. Not much of his personality shown yet but he is the adorable type!! Oh, he is a soldier! This is interesting because omega can join the army. Their social life between ABO seems good so far.

Their first interaction is, well- like in typical omegaverse, one-night-stand.

So far, I like this lol

Why does this have a low rank? Honestly I like it, it is worry free, stress free and a healthy relationship based novel. Just as the title said, daily life after marriage.

Although it is an insta-love thing, but considering this has an ABO concept, where the alpha will be "territorial" and "possessive" to the omega and the omega will be fully attached to the alpha after full marking, it is actually understandable.

I like that the author-nim put some explanation on how ABO worked, like during nesting period, etc. This novel... more>> actually broaden my understanding on how ABO worked (although I know that the concept of this world can be changed upon author's liking).

Try reading it. Too bad it has few chapters <<less

To be honest, it's slightly boring and a bit monotonous, but because it's just short, I was able to finish it. Nevertheless, the reason why it's boring is because there's no scheming, good vs. Evil conflict, etc. In short, it's just as mentioned in the title "daily life". I think, I quite like it because after reading novels with a lot of twist and turns, reading this story is like resting for a while. While it is indeed monotonous, the character development is still there though. From being a stranger... more>> to being familiar to each other.

Anyway, it's good for a fast read. There's not much plot as well as conflict. 8/10. <<less
