Dropped. I completed the main story but didn't bother with the extras. Reading this felt like I was reading an outline. The world building is almost nonexistent and requires leaps of logic or questions left unanswered. Why does MC keep losing his memory? It's not explained in the main story. Maybe it's explained in the extras but I don't like this novel enough to force myself to go there.

Ultimately, you will read this confused until you are no longer confused. That's how the story goes. Not bad and charming as a read if I'm honest.

It helped that the 1st paragraph made me set this story at a lower bar. So I did enjoy it.

Even if you accept the agreement of the 1st paragraph to read this novel, it doesn't mean the book gets a pass for everything. Perhaps bc I don't read enough scifi but I only have 2 gripes: 1. I still don't know what a... more>> sentinel or guide is. 2. Perhaps it's a wording issue, but this is doesn't match up (if I were to be nitpicky) :

the ML first says in a message it's bc of their agreement that he doesn't visit him in the hospital which he doesn't elaborate on then, but later, he says bc of martial law on the tower (where they work?) he couldn't visit him in the hospital when he got hurt. I'm just saying this is unnecessarily not the same wording at all and why lol. It's like the author's was thinking of how to reason why the ML didn't visit the MC in the hospital, but then wasn't consistent.

I thought it was a nice cute sweet story, definitely only read this if you're already familiar with sentinels and guides stories.

The MC is a pe*verted crybaby and I love that for him. Especially what happens in the extras lol.

It's a very nice short read for people who don't really want to think too deep on the plot and just wants some cute fluff.

Maybe I'm weird but I felt kinda sad while reading, even though the author's style of writing is so funny. Maybe it's the memory loss part that made me feel a little sad for the one who remembered. Otherwise, what a light-hearted read! If you're confused at first, don't worry. It will make sense later.
