We can't all expect a flawless OP character shoving away all women. Why tf do we want all OP MCs to pursue the way of abstinence. He's on a journey to become a hero, not a monk. He has a d*ck, he likes a girl, he'll use it. It makes him HUMAN.

The narrative had already explained, yes he remembers his 30 year old self but it feels distant. Just take it as an originally psychopathic beast being *occasionally* held back by the ethics. You'll feel that he has tendencies were his character flips around chapter to chapter - just goes on to show how has an irrational indulging child part of him which is still 15 years old, and the more ethical and moral part of him which he "remembers".

Also, if you're expecting historical accuracies regards to the battle formations and stuff, don't be an idiot. Enjoy it for the character development.

Hope someone picks up the translations from c45 :') It was an enjoyable read. <<less

It's disappointing. I expected a novel similar to ending maker. Although the MC should have a mentality of an adult he's too easy. He doesn't have a quality of an MC except for his herculean strength. He is too easily swayed by pleasure. The moment a prostitute was sent to him he bedded her in an instant. I expected an MC who is more morally upright for a knight. Having his memories from Earth only suppressed his mu*derer instinct. His morality is all-time low. He claims to uphold chivalry and... more>> yet he easily trusted the thief guild and accepted the prostitute. IF you like MC with loose morals it's for you. IF you like ending makers relationship then don't read it. I dropped it the moment he bedded some prostitute without wariness

Edit: TO another poster: Just because he's a man means he should just accept every woman that comes. Exactly because he's an MC. DO you think all men are lustful creatures who aren't capable of reason and should have just s*x with every beautiful girl? Or all menshould engages in immorality because it's medieval times it's okay? Does it make him human for lusting for beautiful girls? Does that mean morally upright men that curb their urges and keeps a proper mind is an animal?

An MC is someone who should have a proper relationship instead of having s*x with different prostit**es every time. An MC is an MC because he's cool, although polygamy is borderline for me. At least it is a proper relationship. An MC who just f*cks around isn't worthy being a hero. It's just a lustful character. There may be a lot of of characters that uses prostit**es but at least an MC shouldn't because it's too immoral. Even in medieval times not all men engages in immoral practices. Despite being a minority there's still called morals. Especially MC should actually be one of those minority since he have modern memories. <<less

TBOA is my first Korean novel, and honestly, I've been enjoying it immensely. Without spoiling too much, the MC isn't adverse to using his immense strength and taking drastic actions if needed, but deep down, still sticks to his principles of defending the weak. It's not a fairly complicated read, but I like the writing style and the progression of the story thus far.

As of chapter 45, the translator, woopread transalations, has apparently announced that they are dropping it. Hopefully, another translator picks it up in the future.

Dont judge too early. Yes he gets prostit**es and yes the prostitute is used to control MC. But remember that MC is a modern civilian trying to get attuned to a era of knights. He is going to have his ups and downs. This is a story not a power fantasy. My bro is manly, he makes an effort to rectify his mistakes.

I agree with the other poster. The MC character changes chapter to chapters. In one, he acts like a honorable knight and escorts a merchant practically for free then the next he breaks a man's jaw for staring at him. He tries to repent for being a douchebag yet has no hesitation to be a douchebag later on by ignoring his party members in order to sleep with some prostitute. I can't stand watching a supposed knight try to gain redemption while continually sinning. Ugh
