This story was a very fun read on flying lines. However the ending felt very abrupt and rushed which really detracted from the novel. I wish the author would have spent more time flushing out their story. That being said, the rushed ending is tidily wrapped up in a perfect little bow.

An fun, enjoyable read with straightforward characters and a main power couple in a school turned international setting.

For 3/4 of the story, the characters, including peripheral characters, are well-fleshed out. There aren't multiple chapters devoted to non-MC and ML interactions, yet other characters such as the power couple's teammates are also shown to have their own histories, personalities, and relationships.

The setting was written well and is to be described as a futurist post-apocalypse (no zombies) era with cultivation.

The ending chapters closed out the plot, it but was written as more of a summary of what happened after rather than written chapters of the story.

Overall, four stars (fifth star not given as there wasn't anything special, such as philosophical stimulus, ethical considerations and so forth that distinguished this from other stories) with one star removed for underdeveloped ending.

Oh and mpreg in the last chapter. No babies actually shown, for anyone interested.

The MC is a glutton! The ML wholeheartedly loves him and it's really fun to watch their interactions. I can't really describe how much of an impact food has on the story but to try and sum it up, the most common words in the book so far are I, want, and meat. I'm not really sure why there's a completed tag though. It's not even halfway through for translated chapters.

Funny, entertaining, charismatic story~ got me hooked by the 2nd chapter and even now it’s still as wonderful as it was when it started, if not then better!

Hooked on the college and competition premise. Sadly I think the ending was kinda rushed. This could've end better.

Anyway I love Mpreg story and kinda dissapointed when the mpreg is really only at the last chapter. The romance is sweet. Both MC and ML have a kinda smooth sailing journey and becake too OP at the end. Oh well, a short and light reaf to fill your day!

This is a real gem. It's a little hard to follow in the beginning due to the translation, but this is real comedy gold and the slapstick crew are great.

The team of eight consists of a ditzy crybaby, a stone-cold killer, a playboy powerhouse, an earnest swordsman, a stalwart tank, schizophrenic sniper, the master tactician ML, and of course, everyone's beloved cheeky troublemaker MC.

On the surface, this is about the story of their rag tag team as they try to climb the ranks of an intercity tournament in order to... more>> gain access to the holy city and defeat the aliens that are holding their world hostage. In reality, it's ML trying his best to keep everything together as MC does whatever he wants while committing daylight robbery generously relieving everyone of their belongings. He is so wily yet innocent, easily won over by promises of food, it's adorable. There is almost a 90% chance that the reason he agreed to marry ML is because ML promised to feed him for the rest of his life.

Although it seems like this was set up for a long journey of slow power creep, there is exponential growth near the end because MC don't got time to mess around. He do what he wanna do.

I wish there were more extras to show the rest of the crew's adventures, but the ending was still satisfying and everyone got paired up in the end. The story wasn't the most well developed or evenly paced, but everyone was funny so I'll give it a pass.

Overall, the translation is a bit rough, but I can still make it out.

On the story however, I must say that I really like how it is going so far (at least as of chapter 42). So if you can handle a rougher translation, then I would recommend it. If you can't handle reading a rougher translation however, then you should avoid it.

On the translation.... one of the more annoying things is the changing pronouns.... takes a little while to figure out if certain characters are male or female.
