[Mission: Occupy the space, secure your part, and survive until the end.]

After a disagreement with the author, Lee Hee-ro transmigrated to the world of his favourite shounen manga, Adventure King!

But what’s this, characters have to work hard for their survival?

If you’re a two-bit villain, you get defeated by the protagonist from the get-go?

If you’re the strongest on the current map, you get hammered down by a newcomer to show off their strength?

If you aren’t popular with the fanbase, your character gets deleted?!

In a world of endless fights, a crazy sprint to survive just the next chapter begins!

I love it a lot! The plot is fun, pacing is great, translation is 10/10, characters feel very realistic and 3D (ironically lol) and I can't wait to read new chapters \ (≧▽≦) /

It's a pretty fast paced novel, the settings are interesting and the characters likable.

this is a complete drag, it's like a court show where a minister needs to be capable but can't be too capable to displease the king or overshadow any of the princes.
here MC is the minister, Author is the king and original Novel Protagonists are Princes, Author is a two bit writer and makes up his lack of imagination by involving real people in his manga as characters, the Author disputes MC's comments to him about abrupt deletion by saying they could've tried harder when he has no intention of keeping alive any character more famous than the manga protagonist.

this disguised court show is entertaining first but it's a hassle to read as Author is the ultimate authority and can abruptly decide anything without any major consequences.

It's interesting, but the quality is not that great. There's innate choppiness to the conversations. MC's thoughts are all over the place and he constantly reiterates the same points. All in all, it lacks good editor.

There's also a bit of a problem with what is and isn't arbitrary allowed by the "author". Sometimes anything he says can be penalised and blocked, even the smallest things. Then he suddenly can just affect whole organisations irrelevant of how much of a plot point they are.

The characters themselves are NPC levels of intellect.... more>> You can see some semblance of what could be described as personality of side characters, but those factors are mostly described by the MC and not realy seen in act.

It's not horrible story, but it doesn't deserve 4, 6/5 as its current raiting. <<less

One of the few novels I follow religiously l. I am really into novels like orv, novels extra, tr*sh of the counts family and this novel always delivers on the same. The chapters are engaging and the premise is fun.

The translator (ahsen cloud) are pretty good too. After reading 10s of brain dead, machine translated Chinese novel you really come to appreciate good translations. So kudos to them for keeping up the good work.

To conclude if liked novels extra or tr*sh of the counts family or just enjoy this premise... more>> this is a definite read.

One thing that I am confused about is how they'll wrap all of this up in 200 chaps, but lets see.

PS: Its such a shame that the manhwa isnt updating anymore <<less

I love the novel. Its well, fun, like the other viewers said. Its interesting to imagine how if the manga the MC is in (not the novel 'surviving a shonen manga' the one we are reading, and we dont talk about the first manhwa adaptation reaperscans translated) made into a manga that we could read, like how the scene of ... more>>
Spoiler

Squatjaw dodging bayar khan (in the princess's body) thats fighting squatjaw because squat jaw doesnt want the viewers to hate him for fighting the princess while they dont know shes being possesed by khan

pretty fun novel that does it's fare share of subverting and playing straight shounen tropes! It's less of a hardcore deconstruction and more of a parody-style love letter. It does somewhat drop this premise later on the way that most novels with gimmicks like this one do, but unlike those novels, it still manages to be entertaining with some decent worldbuilding and surprisingly likeable characters.

the pacing is pretty erratic in the first portion, but it's nothing too awful and the author is definitely finding their stride around this point. In... more>> the beginning, it can seem like characters are just moving from setpiece to setpiece, which is somewhat disappointing. All in all, it's a solid four and a half stars! (I just gave it five cause there r no halves lol) very excited to see where it goes next, and some really solid and great work is being done by the translator, so thanks to you if you're reading this! <<less
