Although Leng Ruoxue is born mentally challenged, she is the most beloved granddaughter of the number one general in the Eastern Lake Nation.
She is despised by her fiancé and schemed against by her love rival. However, she is reborn as a powerful soul.

This is a fantasy world, and also a world where the strong are respected. Cultivation, alchemy, weapon refinement, beast taming—the once foolish young miss has transformed into a stunning genius.

Pill refinement and weapon refinement are all child’s play.

Heaven Grade medicinal pill? Even my pets won’t turn an eye to it.

Heavenly Treasure? I have the space to grow my own.

Sacred artifact? Sorry, that’s too low a level. I only know how to refine divine artifacts.

Beast taming? My beasts deliver themselves to my doorstep.

This is the most vanilla of all rebirth-cultivation-face-slap novels ever. It almost bothering how everything is going smoothly, things popping out of nowhere, ML popping out of nowhere even if he was foreshadowed.

The conception of time is the most warped up for me. Usually, we get a few chapters of leveling with some challenges here and there, however-
Spoiler

The only big "failure" she faced was a couple of burnt pills.

Don't get me wrong, it's cute and that's the main reason I'm reading it.

It's a very standard op MC cultivation story and honestly it was pretty 'meh' up to now.

My main issue lies with the pacing of the story. The story just feels so rushed, to the point where rather than a story it almost feels like a story outline.

Minor spoil:
Spoiler

Like when a few paragraphs are written about the MC training in her magical space. It feels like only a few hours have passed in the story and when her master says he has to go it doesn't seem like a big deal. But then the MC starts crying and it like why are you crying? You met this guy a couple hours ago. Then it turns out that the ratio of time passing is about 1 hr Inside:1year irl.

But the problem is that the MC as well as us are told this after the supposed 5 years have passed. So the MC just didn't think to ask about the fact that she been in space for what felt like 5 years?

The most annoying thing is that the author could have just treated this like a timelapse and simply let the readers know about the time difference at the beginning, letting us know then this was a time skip and this issue could have been avoided. Like I still wouldn't have cared much about her master leaving but I would understand at least????? It just feels like lazy writing at this point.

[collapse]

The characters were decent, neither really good or bad. But that also means that they weren't very memorable either. But again this is due to the pacing which makes it hard to actually care about any of the characters in the story. Minor spoil:
Spoiler

Like I said about her master leaving, it feel like he was introduced two sentences before he had to leave, so it hard for me to care about this or even sympathise with the MC.

Overall the the story up to know is just pretty bland up to now. I'll probably still continue reading this mainly because I've exhausted most of this genre. But if you're new this these sort of op female cultivation stories I just wouldn't bother with this one, there are plenty others that are much better.

I'm not really sure what to think about this. It's fun to read cause it's a happy happy story where she gets almost everything she wants and needs BUT in the end she is still a typical CN FL IMO. So far the romance tag is nonexistent since she won't even hug the ML let alone kiss him. I understand if she is supposedly shy but is it really believable that she is close to 40 years (mentality wise) old but doesn't want romance? What's the point of having a... more>> fiancee? I am getting more disheartened at the romance in CNs. I love the cultivation, face slapping, and magic in these worlds but rarely ever the romance. Does the romance always have to be so awkward and lack lustre? I guess I will have to look for my romance from other nationality authors. <<less

One of the worst cultivation novels I've read.

Not because there's anything disgusting or unforgivable (for example, MC or ML r*ping or mol*sting one another, typical r*pe plot of one of the "evil" one -dimensional white lotus characters, etc.). It's just boring.

Like, I've read my fair share of female cultivation levels, and honestly this one has to have the most lucky female lead in the world. She faces no obstacles or set backs, cultivates at the speed of lighting, every spirit beast falls in love with her, the most beautiful woman... more>> around, even the token scumbag fiancé and white lotus binch haven't appeared to annoy her! Even the ML (or at least the person who is most probably the ML due to his description lol) just appeared randomly and fell in love with her immediately...

It's really bland tbh. So far the few female characters that have appeared are all of the arrogant or white lotus variety, the rest are male characters, most of which are in love with her or worship the ground she walks on. This FL is even luckier than Su Luo... who, even with her identity of the heaven's daughter or whatever, had to face a lot of set backs lol.

Anyway, I wouldn't recommend this at all. Just reading this because I'm bored and trying to find something to take my mind off exams. <<less

Hmm, if I had to describe this book it would be: diet cultivation.

Don't read this if you haven't already read a cultivation novel - it assumes a base level of knowledge and skims over what would be key events in other books. This isn't necessarily bad as we all know the tropes so we know that of course she was going to have a special physique, of course she was going to have all of the elements; we know what pill refining and armament forging look like; we know how... more>> beast-taming works and we know what kind of cool effects skills will have. The down-side is that it skips over events that should have full chapters in single paragraphs, sometimes give you whiplash, and occasionally feels like things were tacked on because the author forgot.

Spoiler

I'm looking at you, training montage chapter with not one reference to time that made it seem like the mastered alchemy in 5 minutes when actually she spent 5 YEARS inside her space... that only corresponded to 5 hours in the outside world. I don't think I've ever seen such an OP time conversion...

[collapse]

Everything follows the standard course, but the FL does at least have a couple of moments which set her apart from her standard-cliché-cardboard cut-outs in other novels. Still a Mary Sue, but a likeable one. <<less
