I didn't expect much from this short novel but I'm pleasantly surprised. The MC & ML showed layered characters as much as few chapters can present. They had their insecurities and past struggles but together, they managed to grow from that. I like it.

What a beautiful story. I'm glad I found it. Although the story has a sm*t tag, it doesn't revolve entirely on that. It focused mainly on MC and ML's relationship and how they came through the obstacles to get their happy ending.

I'm glad that it's not a typical cinderella story where it ended when the leads got together. ML was a servant but he managed to liberate his servant status by his own hardworking, not because some people gave him a noble status just because he was a half-noble. MC was disabled but she could stand again because ML's encouragement and also because she trained everyday by herself. They both worked hard to get their happy ending by their own.

I'm also happy because MC's parent and her ex husband got their retribution in the end. It was a very satisfying ending.

Review: Short and sweet story. I thought it was refreshing to see a handicapped female lead! Despite her lofty title, she comes to realize that she is damaged goods to her husband and her family. The male lead was amazing here. While he helped her build her life back, she brought love into his. In their world, they are not lady and servant. They are merely man and woman. Whether blue blood runs in their veins or not, ultimately, they are stripped down to the human beings they are, and they fall in love. I thought it was a beautiful story of perseverance and hope. The final NSFW scene caught me off guard, but... I guess there's something for everyone in this short novel! <<less

This novel is like 'must give a try' one so short n beautiful and surprisingly narrated from ml's pov his character is so relatable and portrayed beautifully loved his character so much. I will only say just give a try u won't regret though still regret because how short it is n I think that's y the readers given it low ratings but for me it's 5/5 star but for some reason unable to do it as if it's setted as default.

This was short but was definitely a full package. There was more plot and character development in those 5 chapters than in some other lengthy novels I’ve read.

It was delightful to read and the ending was everything

Don't know why the reviews are at 3 stars but this is really good.

Although short, the plot makes sense. The characters are fleshed out (as much as 5 chapters allow anyway). The smut is also great.

I really like that this story is quite unique. The theme, the characters and the development- its all very real and it makes it relatable. It’s truly a joy reading this beautiful story. Thank you for sharing it.

Perfection of a short story.

The blurb gives the background of the story, but while the ML is taking care of the FL (she cannot walk) they start developing feelings as well. I love how honest, direct, and frank their dialogue and thoughts were. There wasn't a lot of conflict as both characters understand and empathize with the other.

The last chapter gave the perfect ending, with the main leads shining throughout. This is a really short read, but definitely worth your time. Thank you translators!

It follows the trope of FL being able to walk again. While I'm super supportive of that since it was also a symbol of her gaining autonomy, I would have appreciated more if she was as mentally strong while staying physically disabled. But that's just me calling out all the East Asian webnovels "curing" the MCs of disabilities.

I just finished reading, and I'm amazed by how easy it was to read and understand. Kudos to translator-san, for doing a really good job at translating the novel making the texts easy to follow.

The story itself is engaging, the plot isn't all over the place. The author is decisive with what will happen to the characters, without it looking too predictable.

I ended up REALLY liking this story. The plot is clear and concise, the characters are very honest with their feelings and emotions even when those feelings are ugly ones, and I ADORE the interactions of the main characters. They feel very real and are strong, determined people despite their circumstances. The translation was EXCELLENT and I will look for other translations by this team in the future. WELL DONE!

I have to admit I am a huge fan of people overcoming their shortcomings and growing together, and we get that done extremely well in this story. Both leads are bitter about their lives at the beginning, and their ending is not only happy together, but as whole, fulfilled people who have moved on from their dead past and are leaving the past dead. That's so rare to see.

The romance and smut is medium burn - they get together in under a month, but there is mutual respect and appreciation for each other. I love how they treat each other and care about one another, and are proud of each other's achievements. This is a green flags instead of red flags type of relationship!

thanks to the translator for bringing us this novel. I loved. For the few chapters that they have, there is an adequate development of the protagonists and a context that explains their attitudes and actions.

the smut scenes are to the point, they are romantic and tender without leaving the mischief.

the female protagonist is an invalid and our protagonist is a resentful servant, it's nice to see how both share more than it seems and how they respond to each other's concerns with simple answers.

the devotion of the male protagonist is beautiful, to recognize her as a noble and pure woman, the crisis between loving or not our female protagonist and breaking the chains of "servant", all this development is so beautiful and how she is stronger and surrenders to him.

This was a romantic if short tale of an embittered honorable servant and the lady he serves.

The length was sufficient to convey the story but I honestly would have loved to spend more time following the adventures of this couple.

Their intimacy happens quick but feels better earned than the usual erot*c encounter found on this website.

Due to her being paralyzed she needs his help with many day to day necessities like food, bathing and the bathroom. Writer did a good job showing her emotional state processing her inability to walk and unwanted need to rely on others help. Only weird moment for me was the last bathroom scene. :/

Its short, sweet and disproves the delusion that permeates most fantasies that being a healthy noble means you are better entitled to everything while everyone of a lower status (whether by caste or health) is entitled only to be canon fodder. <<less

I’m surprised how much was conveyed with such short story. The story itself is well written and it’s a great relationship were both MC & ML help each other to overcome the things holding them down emotionally and physically. The smut here is more of meaningful prop to the story.

I’m here for smut and I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised.

5 chapters but the characters have depth and you can’t help but rooting for them. The smut is also hot but only two scenes - probably my only complaint lol
