This story is short and cute. I kinda don't like the MC's decision to not let the amnesiac ML know about their relationship just because he thought ML would be happier as a straight man (and his mother pleaded with him to let her son 'go') but this problem is addressed in the future. The MC finally realises that their relationship is their own business and nobody, not their parents and not their colleagues, have any say in it.

There was some angst which would've probably been solved if the MC... more>> had communicated with the ML, but yk how some parents are with homosexuality..... It makes sense that the MC who'd not been accepted by the ML's parents (?), and who was being blamed for 'turning' their perfect son gay, would think of giving up, especially when he'd been so tired of everything. It smells a bit like inferiority complex. I'm so glad the ML genuinely loves the MC and can see through him. I gave 5 stars because it's an interesting read and it's short enough that it doesn't irritate me. <<less

“By the way, why did you guys break up?"

I froze as I handed Zhou Jian the slippers.

Zhou Jian, one hand on the entrance wall, the other removing his shoes, sounded like he was asking casually, but his expression was serious.

If he observed closely, he would notice two pairs of shoes I bought for him on the shoe rack, several ties I picked out for him in the cabinet, and two jackets hanging in matching couple colors.

I hadn't packed and sent these back because I feared these items with my personal taste and label would cause unnecessary trouble.

"He fell out of love."

Zhou Jian obviously surprised, pondered as if searching his guts for comforting words.

"Then she's quite blind... Ah, Fang Zhi, if someone changes their heart, you should just treat them as dead, the next one will be better."

I glanced at him, really wanted to know what his expression would be if he knew the blind and better-off dead ex was himself.

But this wasn't a nice thing to say.

It a short, bitter but sweet end.

Like the bitter part,

Car accident cost Zhou Jian memory. Though he forgotten but his heart and body still remember Fang Zhi

... more>> Fang Zhi uses a lot of time to make Zhou Jian from straight to become his. However with the accident and memory, left him stunt. Zhou Jian's mom use this opportunity to ask him leave her son.

The heartbreaking part is they are co-worker. Using last resort, Fang Zhi resign. The part where one side run, one side pull is quite sweet but sad at same time.

However, happy ending, reason was told-cause of accident. And the memory is back. And sadly but sweet Fang Zhi can no more eat unhealthy food after Zhou Jian's memory back. <<less

Heartaches to the max for like half of the story.

But ML's memory of body was truly the light in the dark.

If not for ML have those memory of body that shows how he truly love MC even with his memory lose, I would probably doubt his true love.

But with him have them and then also court MC even without the memory returning, shows how he truly love MC, memory or not.

But I'm absolutely grateful with the extra for truly completing this novel!

Absolutely Great novel! I'm LOVING IT!

A really cute story. Highly recommend trying it out. A lot of bittersweet moments at first, but a very nice short story nonetheless.

Wow... it’s actually quite a nice and quick with slight angst read. Could be better with the ending but alas it’s still a nice read! The angst of being forgotten is just so sad. Sighs.

This rating is coming from me who doesn’t really into amnesia arc but since it’s short so I’m giving it a try.
