Yet at the first few chapter, the girls he met in wilderness cried and vomit when they saw the MC dismantle his prey ????? Did they go out for a picnic or for hunting beast?

Not long after, he met a girl classmate that go out to wilderness without any weapon, cried and tell a story where she was going out because she was going to be sold to 30yr old man. Again, what???? This is a post apocalyptic... more>> world right? Why are the people so weak minded? Or specifically, why is the girls so embarrassingly weak minded?

I love this one. The protagonist, compared to others is more flexible and smarter, unlike other novel's protagonists where they're so righteous that I'm not surprise they'll ascend to Heaven. And what I love the most is that there's no harem. The pair's love to each other is great that no one can come between them and they're constantly supporting each other throughout their journey to gain more strength. Thou I don't know why people think little about this. Such a great story.

This is a fairly cookie cutter novel. A guy gets to redo his life. It mainly focuses on the main character with no grand themes like saving the world or building a kingdom. There’s the typical dumb enemies who pick on him for no good reason and refuse to back down even previous teams all die. The hero has lucky encounters to make up for his unimpressive plans. There’s also the pointless harem girls and school arcs. Nothing stands out about this story or hero.

This novel started off so awesome! There's a cliche start where MC gets a rebirth during apocalyptic times where dimensional creatures and mutated creatures are found on Earth. Humans go through awakening at age 16 by an injection and a small amount of people become ability users. They train to get stronger in order to defend the last territories that humans have taken over.

But the novel went downhill when the author ran out of ideas and became repetitive. MC goes to Area A to snatch as much loot as possible,... more>> level up, and get X amount of money at the end. MC goes to Area B next to snatch as much loot as possible, level up, and X amount of money. MC goes to Area C to snatch as much loot etc etc.

The novel is plagued with bad naming sense, wrong word usage, and wrong translations. For example, they change from ability users to aptitude users (natural ability users). They are nothing natural if it requires an injection to awaken it, and you find in later chapters the elites are trying to take cores from mutated animals to get their abilities. There's nothing natural about that. You also have words like ungodly when the simple term of abnormal would suffice, instead of giving the reader someone is sacrilegious. Switching between yuan and dollars, calling them ultra beasts instead of alien/mutated creatures (according to the raws), someone is a governor in several chapters and suddenly a mayor in the next, there's just way too many errors for me to list here. The only saving grace is the rest of the translation is decent so you don't have too many Engrish grammar to ruin your immersion.

I say give the novel a try but don't be overly optimistic about it when you reach the 100+ chapters. <<less

Puts himself in a semi-dangerous situation when he could've just waited/avoided them until he was stronger. That's s*upidity and it is enough to offset any positives about the novel (if any exist as this seemed flaw from many aspects).

Cliche, but still very enjoyable. I guess I do think it's realistic in the setting. Gets better and better as you read. Has a interesting MC who is very likeable who you can relate somewhat with. Has some faults, but over all its a good read to pass the time.

As for some things I didn't like.

1. Mc's ability is broken but author decided to double down on it. His ability is to devour energy from slain monsters to evolve/upgrade himself in the power system of the novel. In his life... more>> before regressing his ability was crippled by some people and afterword said it only worked 1/10 of its potential. Still, after ten years of hunting monsters like a mad man before he died MC made it to A tier. He said he was a average A tier, but A tier are true power houses who make trillions (billions I guess as its Chinese currency) and are near the top of the 1% and some oversee major cities. MC after regressing avoids crippling his ability this time around and even awakens a rare magic like ability. This alone would garentee he gets yo S tier and above in probably half the time it took him to get to A tier. All of this is fine, but author very early on gives him a devour cultivation skill that works on people to suck out their Qi like power in the novel. It really wasn't even needed.

2. Wish some characters could keep up with MC. He finds a few loyal warriors and personnel in the novel, but they can only play house keeper over time. Only good thing is does take care of his best friend who is also talented, but still can't keep up. <<less

I really liked this. After so many interesting novel that I read, finally there is a long chinese action novel that I dont dropped. It's been a long time that I complete read a long chinese action novel. And the extra is really cute!! ML and FL have the baby yeayyy!!

It was a 3 star novel, some very cliched development, poor characterization, and poorly implemented plot. But it was still somewhat entertaining. However it went completely downhill once his pet companion turned into a humanoid fox girl, because the MC went from being a "I'm too cool and revenge driven for love" to seriously lusting after a creature that is a month old in a 13 year old's body, and in which he raised. Zero character building, fast-paced OP MC, except you already know what will happen next, why you ask? The author split the cultivation system into ranks from G to F... A and last three being S, SS, and SSS. At G cultivation, our MC can kill those at F, and at F, he can kill those at E; see the pattern?

Honestly, if not for the romance having a loli fox demon, then the novel would be worthless. And even that gets annoying as you read on. Don't waste your time.

1) Go beck in time, 2) his ability is OP (no reason its just is), 3) he finds pet (thx to future know how) its OP, 4) the girl he meets is OP, 5) aa and his ability is OP->he buyed god lv ability in the normal market again thx to plot armor.
Its as boring as it gets with "going beck in time" genre, the Author don't bother to create story or world building, he prefer to make easy OP story in world made by low effort.

To people who like this story I would suggest reading: Warlock of the Magus World, or Legendary mechanic, Reincarnation Of The Strongest Sword God, and if you need Man vs Beast world then SuperGen would be good for you. And if a OP MC is what you look for then Monster Paradise a good novel with nice cheats.

Honestly I rather liked the plot setting and even personality of the MC was kind of likeable. The contract beast turned girlfriend was definitely an icing on the cake.

Unfortunately this just too jumpy of a novel to ever be good. Authors use of deus ex as basically the one and only writing tool made any fight and interaction very meaningless. MC up against thousands of space bugs? Oh btw, he just happened to come up with AoE version of his attack! MC about to die? His little friend comprehended teleportation... more>> a while a go, we just didn't feel the need to tell you reader! Stuff like that.

It gets even cringier when he just randomly comes up with some move (that isn't explained other than for its elements which are ie. Saber and fire) and then calls it something ridiculous like "Super Emperor Flame Goddess Descent Soul Burning Megaflame" when this is supposed to an sci-fi setting set in some kind of an apocalyptic future.

Another huge issue I found myself wincing at was the sequencing. This author has absolutely no idea how to move on to the next branch of plot, or tie plots together in any way. The way he does it he pretty much introduces an character that's never been heard of or explained in any way (again deus ex style asspulls) such as "uncle XX" whom the MC appears to have some respect for, but it's never explained how would this respect come be. It really doesn't help that travel times and such things are non-existent and we just might find ourselves in some weird ass new towns after like a half paragraph of MC saying sh*t like "Hmm I should help uncle this time".

Really takes a toll on your brain reading sh*t like this, and it kind of feels meaningless. At least in normal cultivation novels we kind of get to enjoy the "progress" and feel like that "Ok, this time MC worked pretty damn hard- he's definitely earned this" but here there's nothing like that. MC's power level is anything the author ever wants and he can create any skill to fix any situation whenever he wants.

Two to two and a half stars is very fair. <<less

5 stars just because I managed to finish the whole thing and there was a somewhat reasonable ending, which is a big shocker for a WebNovel story.

Not bad if you're looking for an OP MC, turn your brain off story. MC here is definitely one of the most overpowered chars I've read recently, with cheat upon cheat stacked on himself. Writing is pretty cohesive and doesn't sound like it's written for an elementary schooler. Enemies aren't all evil and some become allies. Not high standards but it's enough for some casual enjoyment. <<less

Not perfect but a decent read if you just want to watch an overpowered guy become the overpowered overlord every race in existance never wants to cross. Giving 4 stars and not 5 due to there not being anything overly unique, also mc's contracted beast, later turned lover, showed real emotion early on, kind of lost it for a good portion but regained it in the final few chapters otherwise I would have rated it 3.

It's ok story. Generic regression MC but since this was CN, unlike korean novel, unreasonable trouble will bound to happen and MC will suffer partial s*upidity.

I'll change my rate after finish it but one thing for sure, Author with his loli fetish really creep me out. The romance interaction between MC and the fox todler and his possessiveness made me almost puke. Her physical body and her ages are extremely underage and only the prophet and the sickly mind will getting aroused.

Hopefully the story will get better.

3 stars for now.

This was a quite good read actually. I enjoyed it very much. Nothing out of ordinary but this somehow keeps you interested. One of the rare ones of the same genre.
