My best online novel yet. I'm so heartbroken for Xiang Li; but I understand his decision. He wanted to give her the best and he did. It's just that in doing so, made him the best option for her. If he hadn't done all that and somehow held on to her, most people would have preferred Jing to him. As far as I am concerned Zhang xu was not even an option, he didn't deserve it. She did everything for him and even though he believed he was doing everything... more>> for her at the end of the day, it was what he wanted for her but not what she wanted for herself. Selfish love versus selfless love; while considerate and eternal love emerged the winner over the trio. Sometimes it's okay to be selfish to bring genuine happiness to the one you loved. <<less

This was an epic tale pulling me through many twists and turns, heartbreaks, and much excitement. I loved the mc's personality, I loved the emotions and the plot. The only thing I cannot accept is who she ended up with. Clearly there was another male lead better suited who I and I'm sure others fell in love with as a character. Instead she chose the one who, despite being extremely loyal, had many flaws such as his lack of self confidence. If she has to end up with him then... more>> she has to end up with the other male lead in another world or dimension like Chongfei manual. Otherwise I refuse to see him sad and alone. Despite this story's many virtues in my mind the end cannot be considered happy and is nothing less than a tragedy. <<less
