I'm not a big fan of the amnesia trope anyway, but when your MC can just 'forget' plotpoints when the plot demands it is annoying. Also, Suiyun is introduced as a bro-con, but apparently when his darling little brother was receiving threatening texts and decided to tell him about it, he couldn't even listen? Sounds sus.

ML was drugged, kidnapped and nearly r*ped and forced to marry an omega by an as*hole he had business dealings with, which in the brother's opinion is just a 'dislike' of that company. The guy supposedly died in prison, but now the brother is cooperating with that company again and the supposed recently found illegitimate brother of that guy turns up. The brother not only intends to cooperate with them, even after ML says he's suspicious of the guy, when the guy turns up to ML&MC's engagement party, they refuse to let him in as he doesn't have a ticket and ML has recognised him, the brother turns up and just invites him in anyway even though they clearly don't want the guy here. So fudge you Qin Han. I think your shareholders would understand not cooperating with a company with such shady methods.

I hated the amnesia trope but the author actually made it pretty reasonable and understandable. But damn I hated the ML's family. I hated how the mother involved an omega to help ML's condition and treating him like a future daughter in law but that made him have delusions and ML obviously didnt like him...

But I can see that MC is a bro-con, it was just the brother being so conscious about being a disturbance to him... since the bother knew he was spoiled...

when csy decided to go undercover with his friends' help when the misunderstandings were rampant. maybe because I'm used to it now after desensitising myself to other stories, but I didn't feel that much second hand embarrassment when the reveal finally happened. in fact, I was waiting for the moment so they could actually communicate and understand each other better.

like the sudden reveal that this levi guy is a criminal who escaped prison and is on the run as well as all the kidnapping shenanigans. and maybe it was planned from the beginning, but seriously, the mother died and the father was mourning for her but still loved his kids the whole time?? I didn't get a sense of that at all and the way the brothers accepted that they were neglected for this reason was so annoying. I was waiting for more family relationship development.

his brother is trying to protect him from this exact type of guy, yet he runs into this guy's arms?? he saw his dream guy but he isn't interested, thinking that the relationship will be too unrealistic but turns the other way and picks sqd like he just has to accept his fate?? what happened to not being a possession but a person. with csy as his brother, I thought he would become tough.

also it really annoyed me how their yun country or whatever doesn't legally allow omega/omega relationships, even though they are supposed to be more progressive with how omegas are treated. if it was to compare the culture with snake flower island's (?) to emphasise how differently omegas are treated in each country, I understand. I just don't know why they would allow alpha/alpha relationships but stop at omega/omega if they have protection rights for omegas. I don't think that was necessary, as well as how their omega-dominated island was kind of portrayed in a bad light... since in this novel, most alphas rely mostly on instincts rather than reason... so I don't get why the society doesn't allow omegas, who usually suffer from alpha antics, to live happily without one in their life.

It was not explained clearly but Chu Suiyin was a teenager taking care of his younger brother. He had a life of his own but he still had to do everything to make sure his brother is doing well. I don't know if you ever became an elder sibling but that's stressful. Snapping at a sibling is normal, it can only be blamed at unfortunate timing. The text also narrated that Chu Suiyin admitted he was reluctant and resentful at first at why he had to take care of his brother instead of his parents. So yeah, I believe that no matter how much you love, dote or care about a person, if you are still immature, having a hard time, and had a lot of responsibilities, you will not listen to them.

Probably like other readers, I have mixed feelings about the side couple. But they weren't a dealbreaker.
