Chu Suiyun, who had been rated as the “No. 1 Ideal Alpha of the Academy” for three consecutive years, is a little bro-con. His younger brother is obedient and well-behaved, a cute little Omega.

But recently, he found out with a heartache that his younger brother was in love, and what broke him even more was that his younger brother was in love with a scumbag named Qin Miao.

In order to save his younger brother, Chu Suiyun decided to interfere and break up the two of them.

The quickest way was to let his younger brother realize Qin Miao’s true face.

Good brother Chu Suiyun decided to sacrifice himself, seduce him by pretending to be an Omega, and uncover the deceit and tr*sh under Qin Miao’s golden outer appearance.

His younger brother was on a date with Qin Miao at a restaurant. Chu Suiyun sprayed Omega-scented perfume, pretended to be dizzy while his younger brother was not there, and fell into Qin Miao’s arms.

Chu Suiyun: Ah, sorry, I feel dizzy.

Qin Miao smiled: I will take you to a room to rest.

Qin Miao was hooked, but he still hadn’t separated from his younger brother. Chu Suiyun was angry and confronted him——

Chu Suiyun: Why don’t you break up, do you think my skills are not good? Scumbag!

Qin Miao smiled with great interest: I have never seen an Omega like you.

Chu Suiyun unleashed his trump card.

He acted delicate and wept: QAQ, you have to break up, be responsible to me, you bit my neck.

Qin Miao: Then let’s get married.

Chu Suiyun: …?

Not giving birth to a baby, not changing into an Omega, it’s a strong fierce Alpha!

A very good read, I do enjoy me some good ol' AA relationship.

And I like that they do explore some of the drawbacks of engaging in AA.

Honestly pretty good.

Some people might say the brother is too annoying, and I feel like they didn't really read the reason why. And even then, it's revealed why he feels that way. So a bit of a redemption arc in my opinion.

This is the best novel I've read in a while!

The scenes described in the synopsis happen very early in the story and there is a lot more plot after that. I was totally hooked and finished the novel within 2 days.

What I really like is that it is a true A x A pairing. I guess I am just used to authors faking out when presenting this setting because somehow, one person always ends up as a hidden omega. Or maybe I haven't come across enough A x A novels... more>> but I really like "unconventional" pairings in omegaverse outside of the usual A x O.

Of course I can understand that this novel might not be everyone's cup of tea. However, I recommend you to try this novel yourself, if the synopsis sounds interesting to you. A lot of things get an explanation later.

Side note: The MTL was fairly smooth to read, nothing too complicated. <<less

Props to the translator, awesome work!

Now to the novel. At first it was okay, but gradually the characters are rather lacking in IQ and EQ. The plot changes stopped making sense and felt like the author had changed their mind suddenly.

I'm not a big fan of the amnesia trope anyway, but when your MC can just 'forget' plotpoints when the plot demands it is annoying. Also, Suiyun is introduced as a bro-con, but apparently when his darling little brother was receiving threatening texts and decided to tell him about it, he couldn't even listen? Sounds sus.

Also, Qin Han is a bad older brother. And a s*upid boss of a company. Talk about letting the tiger into the house.

ML was drugged, kidnapped and nearly r*ped and forced to marry an omega by an as*hole he had business dealings with, which in the brother's opinion is just a 'dislike' of that company. The guy supposedly died in prison, but now the brother is cooperating with that company again and the supposed recently found illegitimate brother of that guy turns up. The brother not only intends to cooperate with them, even after ML says he's suspicious of the guy, when the guy turns up to ML&MC's engagement party, they refuse to let him in as he doesn't have a ticket and ML has recognised him, the brother turns up and just invites him in anyway even though they clearly don't want the guy here. So fudge you Qin Han. I think your shareholders would understand not cooperating with a company with such shady methods.

I agree to the reviewer above. I expected a lot cause it seemed so interesting and there isnt much alpha lovers out there. ... more>>

I hated the amnesia trope but the author actually made it pretty reasonable and understandable. But damn I hated the ML's family. I hated how the mother involved an omega to help ML's condition and treating him like a future daughter in law but that made him have delusions and ML obviously didnt like him...

But I can see that MC is a bro-con, it was just the brother being so conscious about being a disturbance to him... since the bother knew he was spoiled...

the romance was cute and all, actually hated the drama... overall, it was fine... <<less

MTL was pretty good.

Anyway, going in with only one eye open - it was a decent novel. Happy for A x A, but I have also pretended that I didn't see the author mentioning how the shou can look ambiguous, that his appearance can be mistaken for 'omega' ugh.. but then again how else could he pretend to be one I guess lol. I will not discount the facts that the MC is strong, hard-working, able to protect himself and has a bit of a fiery temper to him.

I... more>> quite like both MC and ML's dynamic, bit of bantering back and forth and you can tell that the ML is pining. How MC began his Hannah Montana persona was pretty amusing. It was cute. What wasn't cute was the MC's brother and his supposed gong... Honestly the focus on MC's brother's love life was unnecessary and ruined the vibe for me. Themes of stalking, creepy behaviour, no-label type of relationship, MC brother having the cliche lack of awareness/obliviousness - I wanted to read this novel to have a change up from weak omegas but I get fed with one anyway! But I appreciate A x A pairings too much to rate this 3-stars...

Ran from family to an alpha's home without telling anyone, having a fever period and was so desperate to be marked by someone who he hadn't even defined a relationship with yet.

The revelation of MC and ML having a connection tbh felt a bit over the top but I had enough tolerance to whizz through it. Was worth reading for MC and ML's current relationship, but only if you're able to take in a bit of POV on MC's fragile omega brother and his weird/kind-of unsettled ending, dramatic flashbacks and your very favourite amnesia trope.. <<less

i really enjoyed reading about the main relationship, they have a lot of chemistry and it was understandable how they ended up liking each other, although their history is pretty outrageous. it was really entertaining, especially ... more>>

when csy decided to go undercover with his friends' help when the misunderstandings were rampant. maybe because I'm used to it now after desensitising myself to other stories, but I didn't feel that much second hand embarrassment when the reveal finally happened. in fact, I was waiting for the moment so they could actually communicate and understand each other better.

i do have a lot of complaints though

i feel like the author made badly planned plot points in the story (or they just did a bad job at portraying things), I guess they reasoned it out, but it still feels jarring after...

like the sudden reveal that this levi guy is a criminal who escaped prison and is on the run as well as all the kidnapping shenanigans. and maybe it was planned from the beginning, but seriously, the mother died and the father was mourning for her but still loved his kids the whole time?? I didn't get a sense of that at all and the way the brothers accepted that they were neglected for this reason was so annoying. I was waiting for more family relationship development.

the thing I hated the most about this novel is chu muyu and his relationships... I didn't really have a good impression of him in the beginning. this guy is too naive and acts as if he's independent, but why do they always make him have to rely on an alpha?? I mean he did mature a bit but why is he making the worst decisions ever. as the user above says, his romantic life ruined the novel a bit for me. I really tried to ignore it, but it's just so in-your-face... the more I heard about his relationship, the more I disliked cmy as a character.

his brother is trying to protect him from this exact type of guy, yet he runs into this guy's arms?? he saw his dream guy but he isn't interested, thinking that the relationship will be too unrealistic but turns the other way and picks sqd like he just has to accept his fate?? what happened to not being a possession but a person. with csy as his brother, I thought he would become tough.

also it really annoyed me how their yun country or whatever doesn't legally allow omega/omega relationships, even though they are supposed to be more progressive with how omegas are treated. if it was to compare the culture with snake flower island's (?) to emphasise how differently omegas are treated in each country, I understand. I just don't know why they would allow alpha/alpha relationships but stop at omega/omega if they have protection rights for omegas. I don't think that was necessary, as well as how their omega-dominated island was kind of portrayed in a bad light... since in this novel, most alphas rely mostly on instincts rather than reason... so I don't get why the society doesn't allow omegas, who usually suffer from alpha antics, to live happily without one in their life.

this novel was worth it for the main couple, but if you don't feel like reading a mess of a side couple, might not be for you (unless you can bear reading it) <<less

I like Chu Suiyin and Qin Miao's story. It was sweet and funny. To be honest, I was dreading and expecting the worst after reading some reviews, but it's not that bad. Their adventure was quite interesting although some fillers are really not good.

I don't like Chu Muyu's choice of partner. It was honestly alarming but anyway, who am I to speak about it?

I am not here to pick a fight but like—

It was not explained clearly but Chu Suiyin was a teenager taking care of his younger brother. He had a life of his own but he still had to do everything to make sure his brother is doing well. I don't know if you ever became an elder sibling but that's stressful. Snapping at a sibling is normal, it can only be blamed at unfortunate timing. The text also narrated that Chu Suiyin admitted he was reluctant and resentful at first at why he had to take care of his brother instead of his parents. So yeah, I believe that no matter how much you love, dote or care about a person, if you are still immature, having a hard time, and had a lot of responsibilities, you will not listen to them.

I still don't like their father.

The 1st part of the story is pretty funny when the MC pretends to be an Omega then it gets a little more serious. I like the AA pairing you rarely see this kind of match. All in all I think it’s a pretty gd story. The only questionable thing is the younger brother’s choice of his partner. It’s a hard one. Hopefully this 2nd chance turns out for the better.

I hate books like this bro. It's fun for like the first 15 chapters but then that means all the other chapters till the end are boring and full of the ML always kissing ass and forcing and pleading with the MC. I want mutual emotions kind of books bro, I'm so sick of these kinds of plots.

Love asides, the plot gets worse with time!! Waste of time

I really enjoyed this book. The fake dating at the beginning was fun! Their pasts start being revealed about midway through and I became fully hooked and invested. I was really happy with the outcome of the story.

Pretty much none of the relationships in the book are healthy, but the author is writing a/b/o in an imperfect society. I think a lot of complaints people have about the novel are intentional and what makes the story compelling. I like that the author didn't try to make a perfect society because... more>> it gives the novel depth and a sense of realism. Serious societal issues a shown, but not dwelled upon. People make mistakes and hurt others. That's life. There are still a lot of novel level hijinks that would never happen in real life, but the interactions the characters have are logical within that framework.

The main POV is from the MC who is an alpha and just trying to do his best in raising his brother. To him, their society is very progressive and caring to omegas, but you can tell from his actions and dismissive thoughts that it's very imbalanced.

i.e how he is controlling of his brother, his attitude towards the omega trying to explain why alphas are bad, etc.

At first, I did feel it was a bit much that MC's brother is constantly

being stalked.

Usually, I don't enjoy side pairings, but I would read a spin-off. I want to read more from this world. <<less

I love the main ship. The first half was cute and the latter half got more serious establishing deep commections between our two protagonists. The writing flow was not rushed and I thoroughly enjoyed their story. No faceslapping galore, no dramatic angsty moments, just enough of a conflicted past which explained a lot but wasn't dwelled upon.

The translation is superb and really helped with the story's delivery of emotions and atmosphere.

I rarely make reviews, but I thought this was worthy. 5 stars yo!

I was really impressed, I really like the "true" AA pairing.

The premise was very engaging and the shenanigans and antics of the "bro-con" MC were pretty funny and relatable. The story isn't just a surface level comedy, however. There are a lot of other plots running parallel below the surface.

I had long guessed some of those mystery reveals, but it was still entertaining to get through it.

The translation was excellent.

Overall an enjoyable Alpha x Alpha story.

Probably like other readers, I have mixed feelings about the side couple. But they weren't a dealbreaker.

It was a really nice and refreshing read in ABO trope.

The plot was well laid out and the beginning of the story was comical, embarassing and interesting with the bro con MC trying to figure out to prevent his brother being led ashtray.

It took me by surprise that there was a hidden plot of MC and Ml's past, which then justified the ML's seemingly instantaneous interest in MC at the beginning of the story.

I wish for a spin off novel for Little Yu and his paranoid Alpha, I can't get... more>> enough of them, as their chemistry was rather unpredictable. <<less

Three stars for excellent translation quality. I'll just say... I only made it to chapter three before the extraordinary level of s*upidity in the characters made me stop reading. I wasn't willing to degrade my brain any further. This is a great story for those who like absurdly exaggerated levels of dramatized illogic. Hopefully, the story gets better as it goes along, but I couldn't bring myself to find out.
