In all honesty, it's actually not even that bad.

The writing isn't all that impressive, and could even be considered subpar, but in comparison to a lot of other Naruto fan fictions, this one belongs to the better side of the spectrum.

The MC isn't crazy powerful by chapter 10, and his strength progression could even be considered rather feasible when looking in the lens of some other characteristically 'genius' characters.

One major plus for me on this novel is the dialogue. Like oh dear god, a lot of fan fictions have some... more>> of the worst cringiest dialogue ever (for harem fan fictions at least). Even Oblivion had better character interactions. But for this one, I don't recall ever hating the dialogue.

As with a majority of these Naruto fan fictions, a system exists, and yes, the MC does quarrel with the system (like usual). Not really sure what authors consider comedic about it, but that's a negative I'd give.

As for the actual MC himself - he's pretty decent. A rather average guy, with a tame temperament but with his own pride. Nothing that would strike you as completely annoying.

As for the girls in this novel? Actually not that bad. They don't blush at every word and gesture, and there's an actual romance progression in this novel. Every girl actually grows to like the MC due to their interactions, not because he's a badass killer and they magically have a good impression of him.

As for the plot, I don't recall it ever being unrealistic. I'm pretty sure the author does change how certain events unravel, but not by a major amount. I actually don't usually mind the story following its original timeline; to me, seeing the original story unfold gives me a sense of familiarity and nostalgia. So when the author mixes in his own plot line along with the general timeline of the original work, I think it's actually a plus (for me). So overall as a novel itself, I'd give it a 3.8/5. It's aight, but as a harem Naruto fan fiction? One of the better ones I've read, 5/5 <<less
