Hilarious premise.

The whole world becomes entangled with supernatural phenomenon, ghosts and psychics. But our resident protagonist is completely normal, unable to see ghosts or psychic abilities.

The interesting thing is that while completely unable to sense supernatural stuff, he is also completely immune to it.

The story seems to be heading in the direction of everyone thinking he's some super op psychic in disguise, while our protagonist has to pretend to understand what's going on

This is one of the BEST and most amusing misunderstanding stories, despite being set in a dark, urban horror setting where humans have developed powerful psychic/shaman abilities and fight for survival against malevolent spirits, often to grim and bloody results. The MC is immune to psychic powers, can't see ghosts, and his touch can heal severe spiritual afflictions and corruption of the soul, leading to people misunderstanding him as a powerful figure or even a messiah. Meanwhile, he's doing things like swearing a (actual) vow to the heavens that he... more>> will win with his (nonexistent) NTR hypnosis app, so all his powerful psychic opponents cover their eyes or look away when he whips out his phone, and then he punches them in the face. <<less

Interesting premise, lackluster execution.

Do not use your brain if you want to enjoy this novel.

Do not read this if you expect horror, there's none at all.

... more>> A prime example of "Tell, don't show". The battle scenes consisted of people shouting fictional skill names to each other.

It would be better if author can decide if he wants MC to treat the 2 middle schoolers as love interests or as children, and then adjusted their age accordingly. So far MC had bathed and spanked one of the girl. This girl is said to look like 3rd year of middle school (so around 14 or 15 years old), which is not a kid at all. I think at that age even a father wouldn't touch their daughter casually, much less the 20 years old young man MC.

Typical I-want-to-be-low-key, then proceed to do things the most high profile way possible. Then act clueless, "oh no, why is everyone's reaction is like that?" <<less

The main character is strangely silly. He knows he is a different individual who cannot see ghosts or magic and their influence does not affect him. He knows ghosts and magic really exist and when he hears the little girl next door talk about being in the hell dimension and he thinks that girl is paranoid???

I'm mentioning this here because no one in the reviews has brought it up.

This novel has a harem tag, but most of the screen time so far has been focused on two middle schoolers. MC is an adult, but a young adult. Far from dad age. He himself describes them as children and that they act as middle schoolers. Even if nothing happens between them, this is crearly pe*o baiting. He even washed naked one of the girls while she was unconscious. (If you say he had a reason to... more>> do so, remember that the author created that situation and reason to justify this action.)

Yes, there is a Childcare tag. And no, you can't have it both ways. One chapter shows him having a cute time with a child, teaching them, while the next has him lying next to a woman with a boner. It's jarring to see wholesome themes alongside pe*verted content. <<less

I checked this out because of the translation site and it was surprisingly good. Some light hearted absurd comedy, it's a good read if you just want something to spend your time with. The world building is surprisingly good, the world of spiritualists is fairly fleshed out and you get to see a clearer and clearer picture of the political landscape as the story progresses. In that regard it is really similar to One Punch Man and considering that the writer is an otaku, it's probably the direct inspiration for... more>> this novel. I wouldn't say it's a masterpiece or anything but it's worth checking out if you just want something fun. <<less

Imagine this: you're one of the strongest people in the world, and while you're in a highly dangerous area that can kill any normal person, you suddenly see a random guy riding an electronic scooter making a delivery. You watch him brute force his way through the area, obliterating any entity he encounters. He doesn't even react to any attack, ignoring everything like it's nothing. Yeah, that's the whole novel.

Currently, it's pretty good. Chapters 1-10 are kind of boring, but it gets better later on. The world-building, power system, and... more>> side characters improve as you go. The story follows a harem route where the MC randomly goes places and ends up with a bunch of strong women. Lol.

The MC's power is basically that his whole body is like Imagine Breaker, negating everything except physical attacks. He later fixes this by using a physical negation artifact, making him almost unbeatable (he's still weak and is a normal human). He's also good at close-quarter combat and much stronger than a normal human. He thinks everyone around him is either chuunibyou or delusional because he can't see any of the monsters or psychic powers. It's funny and reminds me of OPM and King from that series. Hopefully, it stays that way, and he doesn't get super OP out of nowhere.

Anyway, good series. I recommend giving it a try. Don't drop it after the first few chapters; read until chapter 20 and decide for yourself. As I said before, chapters 1-10 kind of suck. <<less

I love this novel. It has great world building, and the character's past is interesting. MC is basically Imagine Breaker and OP in this world of psychics, but slowly he realizes why he is Imagine Breaker... Very unique. Pay attention to the past trauma tags.

Nonsensical levels of misunderstanding, but still worth reading if you don't mind such things. From what I've seen, the entire novel just follows the MC as he picks up incredibly lonely women and saves innocents. The way the MC acts and thinks is fairly similar to the protagonist of One Punch Man. However, unlike OPM, this novel is generally a lot more casual.

This novel is pure comedy and misunderstandings.

The world has turned into a supernatural setting, where humans can see ghosts and wield shaman/otherworldly abilities to combat them. Everyone except the MC.

The MC seems to have an immunity to everything supernatural, and just brushes it off as seeing people with mental health problems or pe*verts. While others seem to think he is a powerful being with plans, he's just thinking about if he completed his daily quest for his game.

The novel is fun to read and pass the time. Despite the ominous... more>> cover art and tone of it trying to be dark, the situations the MC gets into just cancel it out with the comedy.

(My first written review so I hope I didn't mess up your expectations) <<less
