Pretty promising so far. The tags don't list it but it seems like MC was reincarnated in a game with multiple yanderes so maybe harem tag? I read chapter 1 of the raws a bit before the translated version and thought the little sister character had a metaphorical dark shadow but no, she has a literal shadow demon thing possessing her. So, a supernatural tag too.

Painfully fluffy. It's very much pure love and vanilla, technically harem but not really, anyone that despises harems won't mind. You'll see what I mean in literally the first chapter so give it a try.

Tl'd author note indicated there aren't any other girls involved in the group, so shouldn't change later in the story either.

I read this story earlier this week and I'm already struggling to remember details from it. Overall it's pretty forgettable.

I initially picked it up because I thought it'd be about the MC trying to survive the yanderes but the MC quickly solves the issue early on and it becomes mostly a fluff/slice of life story. I don't mind stories like that but there are ways to make them interesting and give them substance with character interactions and events. This story unfortunately doesn't do that. Almost all the female characters instantly... more>> get along with the MC and there's no conflict.

There are a few times where there is conflict between the MC and the antagonist but it's poorly written and made me cringe while reading it. The emotional payoffs the story tries to go for aren't good either.

Somehow I managed to finish the story while hoping it would get better.

Jojo references: the review

To begin with the translation isn't the best. It's readable and grammatically correct most of the time, but it still feels awkward. The character dialogue is ok, but the MC's inner monologue is very stiff. Anyway, on to the story.

Main FL (who was adopted at 14, not blood rated and same age as MC) has a stand, it's basically better version of Okuyasu's 'The Hand' or Vanilla Ice's 'cream', it has the ability to erase people and addition it can erase other people's perception of the erased... more>> person. Kinda like what the soviet KGB did to xxxxxx xxxxxxxx, IE: completely eracing all traces of their victim, and even photoshopping them out of old photos.

Like Koichi's Echoes act 3, the FL's Stand is sentient, and it often talks, but only the FL can hear it, at least in the beginning. Our protagonist can see it, barely, and already knows about it, but nobody else can. Also there are no other known stand users in the setting.

Anyway, like Kakyoin, the FL is troubled by her stand because she feels alone in a world where a part of her is completely hidden. She's unable to make meaningfull connections or friendships, and becomes a completely isolated loner. That is, until our protagonist comes in.

After making her first connection with another human being, perhaps in her entire life, she becomes completely obsessed with our protagonist.

So the main FL is a yandere with a killer stand, and our protagonist is a normie geek who loves gal games.

PS:the protagonist's dad is the first to get erased, which is how we learn about her stand ability, but he's an abusive dad who tried to r*pe the FL so it's ok that his existence was completely eradicated off the face of the earth. <<less

A very mid, with little to no substance, fluff slice of life romance story. Romance as in what a middle schooler thinks romance is. Or a highschooler that never got a gf before. I know because I was that guy, years ago, and this is exactly how I imagined having a gf would be like.

My point is, if you're part of it's aforementioned target audience, you might enjoy this. Bland and forgettable doesn't mean it's bad, after all, so I imagine it being a good time waster. Still, it's nothing... more>> memorable, in the end, neither. Unfortunately I'm already too old and stuff like this doesn't appeal to me anymore. <<less

Binged it. Finished it. Loved it. Lots of fluff and yandere vibes (more of clinginess than full on yandere).

Fun interactions with the game heroines and their eventual evolution. Especially the protagonist of the game.

He's a reincarnated person like MC who wants harem, but he's an arrogant prick cuz he thinks he's special cuz he's the protagonist. He successfully captures one heroine. But, remember this is a yandere game world. She became his gf and tamed him to a subconscious level and he's not aware of it lol.

Shame it's not harem since MC interacted and rather got close with the other heroines. But, hey at least he got two in a sense so that's close enough.

Also, a clarification about FML and her shadow demon for any getting confused from reading the reviews.

MC's little sister, Chimose, has a supernatural being that's a part of her. She's not a demon or anything. They don't exactly know where she came from or what she is. But, she has the same look as Chimose minus some cool spooky look and she eventually becomes human-like. She, called dark Chimose (kuro Chimose) then named Mashiro, can cause fear, devour people, and make it seem they never existed. She is like a quiet twin sister of Chimose and acts like one too.

Good read. Definitely try if you like fluff and actual progress with a cute little sister that's yandere-like plus her "twin sister" and seeing a game protagonist (not MC) getting rolled over. <<less

Okay this is the ultimate fluff, they make their thoughts clear to each other, they don’t hide stuff. So there’s no misunderstanding bs. The only aversion I have is that I always have this question, “are being like chimose common, also how is able to roam around without being caught?”

I'd basically describe this as a fairly fluffy slice of life novel. The yandere aspect is very tame and if it's not for the fact that MC is reincarnated in a yandere game you wouldn't even realise there are yanderes and at most might think some of the heroines are a bit clingy. So if you want a yandere you're likely to be disappointed.

I did find that the differences of the heroines between the game and novel did make it a bit more interesting. However author probably did the right... more>> thing ending it quite quickly as nothing much happens and love interests saying how they love each other gets a bit repetitive. <<less

Mostly a slice of life fluff.

Its not that I dislike it particularly, its just, theres nothing happening, just like every other slice of life.

Also the harem tag is unwarranted. Its not even a love triangle, much less a harem, as the other reviews already state. The MC himself shows absolutely no signs of pivoting from this and the author's comment just solidifies it.

the translator calls the novel as "yandere chisome" which is the name of the girl, but that is nowhere to be found on this page
