I possessed the body of the eldest son of a noble family.

He had wasted his life and his extraordinary talent in swordsmanship by clinging onto the female leads and devoting everything to them.

So, I stopped clinging and decided to focus on living my own life.

Since then, the female leads have been acting strange.

I wish the author continued the story. As of now, the story is dropped by the author but it is good considering it ended. There is room for it to continue and it ends nicely on an arc. Many reviews blame the MC for sparing bandits but he also cripples them and later kills someone so he's not super pure of heart or anything.

Overall, I liked this story and hope it someday continues :)

What the heck is wrong with modern readers nowadays? This is a masterpiece.

Another 'matured' MC in a series against simping, weaklings and naive MC.

The MC is a collected, chad and charismatic. The story has a moral lesson for introverts, a healing guidance for broken people, and a new light for the beginners.

... more>> It is highly recommended for single men who truly enjoys to live alone!

Women are temporary. Swordmanship (Career goals) is eternal!

Edit: September 06, 2023

People who complaints about that the MC is weak because he didn't kill the bandits are disappointing readers. They literally judge his character development in immature and nonsensical judgement. For readers who love a hardworking MC, then read this. You won't get bored about it. He is not a simp. What is wrong if we used "Sigma"? Do you even know the meaning of Sigma?

Sigma male is a slang term used in masculinist subcultures for a popular, successful, but highly independent and self-reliant man. Another term for a sigma male is a lone wolf.

In other words, if you are unsatisfied with our term, then browse it properly. We can even use 'a' the term Alpha, if you like to. But that word might change its genre from boorish to OP thing.

Now then, the heroines are learning to use every means necessary to take advantage of it. And it is disgusting whenever they approach him with ulterior motives.

The author is mature and smart to balance the development of each characters. I don't know what we did to those readers who viewed 'sigma' as a curse. But hello? With all due respects, this is 21st century. Sigma is one of the most popular trope for the introverts who faced a lot of hardship in this trouble world. We can relate to him because we want to become a hardcore. A man who face the world thru hardwork! Career first before anything else!

I'm very sad to see the negative reviews. You miss the point of what the author wants to spread: a life without regrets. Highly recommended for people who loves 'comedy'. I don't recommend this to power-hunger, OP and other things who doesn't like harems. <<less

Another korean academy possession monotonous novel. Nothing remarkable here.
The OG main character is a simp and stalker who kiss the floor where the main heroines walks. As for the heroines, they are absolutely right about rejecting the OG MC, I dont blame nor hate them for it as the man gave utter cringe.
Now, here comes the possessor who takes charge of the body. he starts training and growing like crazy in both fields, magic and swordmanship because the OG MC had talent, but he never exploited it since he was simping the 3 girls, and... thats all folks.
The MC trains, shows his powers and abilities, surprise everyone, gets the girls attention, but, shocking!!! nobody can believe it, despite the fact he did it in front of theirs f*ck*** eyes!! so he is looked down, win again and so on.
If the MC had not been glorified in less than 50 chapters and the plot not so foreseeable, this would have been better.

Everyone saying sigma this, sigma that...

He's still one of those MC's who spares bandits lives... so yeah, lmao.

Spoiler

He did destroy their mana circuits so they can't use magic anymore... but they are still alive and are bandits. They can still do harm to people even without their magic. Man, such a p*ssy move from MC, most likely he didn't want to kill "people" so that's why he took that decision, but what a d*mb p*ssy decision that was, at least imo.

[collapse]

Also MC is boring dude who only has training in his head, ironically, he looks more like a NPC after he got inside the game than the game NPCs around him.

The only fun part is seeing the different reactions to his new self from the heroines and nothing more. <<less

It's a story about unparalleled genius. He doesn't need women as he has total control over his balls. And don't forget he is genius. Unparalleled. He creates extraordinary techniques nobody have ever thought about - f weapon buffs. Glorious and unparalleled. He gets unparalleled medicine only geniuses like him can use. His speech is 200 out of ten. Slippes, small mistakes - they are for losers. Don't forget he is an unparalleled genius. Even if he makes a small mistake he gets a revelation to become even more unparalleled. Killing... more>> people first time - geniuses don't care. Etc etc

Basically yes this is a standard Korean novel for better or worse. Constant buzzwords (unparalleled, genius etc), MC with no shred of realism (all attributes are maxed). They can get rid of any emotion distracting them. They always outsmart everyone. Everyone is just jealous of them. They become beautiful after like a month of training. Basically a wish fulfillment. Even classic Japanese novels are less childish <<less

All these people going sigma this sigma that or whatever are missing the fact that this is just sloppy predictable tr*sh writing.

Author writes a detail (academy students are prohibited from drinking alcohol because they are literally 16 year olds) then conveniently forgets it the next chapter) the whole plot of that chapter is the MC wants to casually drink alcohol (because the other students are talking about it) so he casually walks into a restaurant (to drink alcohol) and orders some random food cause he doesnt care and that is... more>> where he encounters an 'incident' happening. It could just as well have been only about food. Why bring the alcohol in and intentionally contradict your own worldbuilding?

The action sequences isnt particularly well written, it mostly glosses over any action. The world is like a naive fantasy world kinda like JP isekais (remember the MC letting bandits live who are known to be mass mu*derers), theres barely any presence of the 'overarching story' (nor that it was mentioned as being important) till some random points where it brings up that theres some shadowy organization (cliche) thought to be extinct that still exists and is now trying to resurrect the demon king or black magic or whatever in the modern day (even more cliche), tho hardly any development is given to it. The character's emotions arent well written either, theres hardly any weight to any of it.

Even the one thing you hope to be the main aspect of this is that the MC grinds and grinds and gets powerful then reveals his OP abilities and shocks the world... is very lackluster. The reveal is done is such a meh way with low stakes that you wonder why you even read this at all. And post that point there hardly stays any point in reading this novel.

TLDR: incase it wasn't clear. this is a 4 out of 10 novel. This is a bad execution on already existing tropes and they're not compelling either. <<less

I personally don't really like this genre of novel since it becomes empty after the whole "Look at me now!" moment. Some of them do build a deeper story but most fail to do so and this is one of them. This novel really doesn't have anything going for it but it isn't exactly terrible. I see a lot of these reviews and most of them have what I think. OG MC was a creep, the possessor is a training freak with little to no personality other than becoming the... more>> pinnacle of swordsmanship and the heroines are pretty boring. There really isn't an overarching plot or any other hooks than the MC initially being hated for his OG persona.

I mean if you have time to kill just give it a go.

Oh, P.S the comments are... A lot of hate for the FL when they are completely justified in their actions of rejecting the creepy OG protagonist. It just gives off a really terrible vibe. <<less

The OG MC was a worthless simp but the Possesor is a Sigma and dedicated to become stronger. He is quite reasonable with grudges and is ruthless to scums.I caught up with the recent MTl which was a hassle as TL was very bad but the story progression is very interesting.

Spoiler

The Harem progression is very NORMAL and monotone, the same old saving damsel in distress and FLs falling in love because of his talents

I read raws of this novel somewhere and I while premise looks like the heroines will regret "hurting" OG body Charcter, it not that really, the OG body Charcter was really creepy dude simping all 3 heroines, (stalking, harrasing etc) but well he did in a weird way loved (obsessed?) them, now the MC of novel created this Guy as he too wanted to see a route with harem ending like us degenerates and he got isekaied, now he ignores the heroine and bcz harem novel the heroiens fall... more>> in love with him because he changes his obsession to friend kind relationship, can't say heroines are at total fault as the guy was creep but well I got too bored until I reached their POV's and also due to their stereotypical hair/personas (golden, pink, silver) I got bored few chaps were of him grinding and tbh they were good just not enough to keep me engage so I will say 3/5

P.s: translation is really good of first chap I hope they keep up the quality. <<less

I'll try to make review as honest as possible.

Quick plot : MC gets transmigrated as a character in a video game, whose original creator tried to make a harem but ultimately failed. The character has most of his stats into talent, so he has average looks and everything else besides talent in swordsmanship, magic, etc. Now he is in a body of a guy who tried to get a harem but failed, he decides that he doesnt need stuff like that and only trains, he trains for literally no time... more>> and gets on the level equal to above those "super talanted duke family heroines" that are trained since their childhood.

The plot is cliche. MC unintentionally gets attention of main heroines and now they are simping for him and chase him. Average korean cliche novel women , give them attention = no love, dont look in their way = they are wet for you.

MC is a training fanatic , which is alright, but he severely lacks social skills, I feel like author just doesn't know how to write characters, and since main character should be main purpose of the story and the main challange for him in terms of writing, he just made him a "sigma" who doesnt look in the direction of women, doesnt do sh*t besides training and doing quests that help him get stronger.

Another cliche is, after becoming stronger, he keeps saving them or helping them from little accidents which forces him into actual contact with the main heroines.

As you have already guessed it, the one cliche I see everywhere is also present here:
After transmigrating into a body of a literal moron, he gets stronger and now everyone is at awe of his talent and become his master. No one questions it at all how a person who only cared about women got a heavenly talent all of a sudden.

There is no reason for him to avoid women or any social interactions throughout the story, sure you can say he is introvert or something but he isnt, he just spends his wh0le time training like a moron. For what? Exactly, nothing. He doesnt have a system that gives him quests, he doesnt have any lovers or friends to protect, he doesnt need to slay some big evil, he just keeps training for the f%%k of it.
Dont recommend the read unless you like "Alpha" and "Chad" MC who doesnt let women in 12 meter radius from him and only cares about being stronger <<less

The protagonist is a brain dead idiot with no social skills who gets possessed by the main character, unfortunately, the Main Character is a brain dead idiot with no social skills also.

This novel isn't worth reading, there's zero depth to the story or characters. We don't know anything about the main character and his goals other than "get stronger" and "ignore women". I think if you're 12 years old or you hate women you would like this story, if you're a well adjusted person, you shouldn't read this story. The... more>> story spends a lot of time justifying and making up scenarios where the MC is an "alpha" or a "chad". In reality, the MC is a huge loser. <<less

I don't know why but this is freaking engaging. The way the MC acts like a Chad. And female leads slowly develop their interest in MC.

It is a blend of overpowered, Romance Harem and Academy tropes.

The tropes may be common but the way it is being depicted really keeps you engaged.

It's great but I'll take some score for indefinite hiatus/dropped status.

Korean guy Woojin hits the like button on a post about a funny build for a game he likes and gets into the body of Eugene the character from the build who's a total simp. After original Eugene gets killed Woojin uses the advantages from what he knows from the real world to survive and get ahead.

Ah yeah there's also a sub plotline involving women. Who cares about them? Wait, you do? Serious? Ok fine... Sheez, the original Eugene was... more>> stalking but also helping them out with his talents which was the purpose of the build, when his romantic life didn't flourish he tried to end it all thereby giving the remote to our MC.

It's an important lesson for the Gods of Isekai that likes are not endors**ent, although they have never been reasonable. Anyway the premise I thought was unique back when I read it but it's also set in a comfy academy, the writing is nice but it set up a lot of stuff that will probably never pay off. Of course what do you do when you can't romance og heroines? you set up other heroines, but Woojin is on a sigma grindset because he has too much sh*t going on + he's too talented so he's likely to die a virg*n.

It's funny and the writing is good, it's unfortunate this story has a foot in the grave. <<less

A story about transmigration and how our protagonist manages to regain his reputation that his previous self ruined, MC isn't a "sigma" or stuff like that he is just a guy with self respect and common sense, he prefers growing as a swordsman and a magician and states that being in a relationship would only slow down his progress, the phasing of the story is quite good but until this chapter there isn't a big plot or a big event that really stands out, the 3 main female leads are... more>> okay I guess? They don't really very charismatic and sometimes I got confused in wich girl was talking until they said their name, appearance or attribute but they aren't so dumb to fall in love straight away for the MC after all he has done to them. <<less

I like this genre a lot so 4*

But to be quiet frank, the female leads are beyond easy and have no depths besides being stereotypical.

Plot is cheesy and a bit weak, coherence ain't the best here.

Worst point is the MC :

  • First is he acts as if nothing happened, he might have not been the original but his behavior just look shameless from an outside point of view which is not ever pointed out
  • Second thing is how he keeps saying training training but keeps getting involved with the fml, yes he's not simping but no that's far from being indifferent.
All in all I'd say it's an entertaining read, but has a very forced plot with no complexity or ingenuity.
