It would be great if we could cooperate with the prince for money.

It feels a bit rushy, and I don't know... The story gave you a bit of background, sure, but the feeling is not there. Maybe because it's the start of a story between the MC and ML and then it just stops there. Not the fluffy kind but still ok I guess.

Ok WAYYYY too short here, that was probably 200-300 words at best.

It's ok, a VERY short story that conveys a decent amount of background information. Would be nice if the author actually kept going for at least another couple hundred words afterword.

This story is really lack of description and background story. I really want to understand why:

Spoiler

ML want to dethrone himself from crown prince position and even cancelled his engagement with his fiancee.

[collapse]

I also want to know:

Spoiler

How or when ML fell in love with FL. Did ML dethrone himself for her or FL was just a bonus from his scheme? I don't know, maybe I'll never know.

[collapse]

If the story could answer my questions, I think it'll be more interesting.

I'm sorry, as much as the story is trying to make us support the ML and MC, I still find it... s*upid?

Spoiler

like his resolution to break off the engagement is still questionable.

Because he doesn't want to be tied to his fiance? But then, if he's so smart why not do the talk privately especially when he is aware he can negotiate her (?) Why need to suddenly bring that subject in front of everyone without consulting her?

Because of the crown? But if he's so smart then why not just tell his father, bruh he should be able to do it right if he's ready to even go and humiliate said father with other people?

Because he love MC? But it seems it was initially just a plan...

[collapse]

I would rate this 2 for the plot holes but perhaps my bias for villainous noble girls stories is affecting my discretion so giving it 3. 😒 <<less

I feel like I just read a light hearted HQ manga all of a sudden with ghat contract marriage turned real 😂

Gotta say. The twist is good. Not your typical engagement break up (and added bonus of dethrone-ment).

Wow, instead of the typical viewpoint of the villainess getting her engagement broken by the prince and standing up on her own in spite of the unjust accusations and exile, we see the other side- where the prince annuls the engagement and gives up his princehood to be with the girl he loves, and doesn't act dumb. He even negotiated with his former fiancee... Even if, perhaps by getting so used to the other viewpoint, I kind of feel bad for the ex-fiancee, he's still better than those dumb princes... more>> I've seen, and the girl is still better than a lot of the weepy, plotty heroines. <<less
