It's exactly as the synopsis here says. Simple and straightforward. There's not much else to it. It's enjoyable to read as long you are easily entertained. No romance or drama here. The MC dominates the rankings all the way. I only had to skip past the peanut gallery dialogues. The ending is not bad either. The translation is fine except for when gender pronouns go haywire.

First off, there were a ton of wrong tags which I have corrected - this is not a harem, romance is minimal, there is no ecchi or adult content and the MC isn't a harem seeking protagonist.

This novel is basically One Punch Man in a Xianxia world with a system. There are tons of rankings that pop up every few chapters which just make the MC even more OP. There are comedic elements and tonnes of "Shocked Audience" moments if you like that kind of thing.

The ending is okay but... more>> may disappoint people who want just a xianxia novel - I won't spoil it but the reason for the system is an integral element to the ending.

As mentioned in another review, gender pronouns get mixed up a lot which reduces a decent translation.

Not bottom of the barrel but still a rather simple OP MC in a xianxia world with a system. 7/10 <<less

The story doesn't start from the beginning. The MC is already op and has become an existence that is virtually invincible. However, the MC is humble, honest, and lowkey. He doesn't chase women and doesn't go around seeking a harem. His goal is to help build up his sect that his (adoptive) father founded.

The story is written so that maintaining a sense of morality, despite the different views of others and the MC's op strength, is the underlying meaning.

While the story doesn't require a lot of brain activity, it is... more>> not a brainless text.

About half through the story, the MC starts to change, and as the story continues, the MC starts to get more and more arrogant. He starts messing with multiple women, he starts robbing and killing, and starts to act arrogantly in front of others.

If the writing style wasn't the same, I would think that the story changed an author. It went from a descent story to a brainless text with the three views twisted and messed up.

First half of the story, I give it 4 stars, and the latter half 2 stars. Quite frankly, this story is a perfect example of the quote "Absolute power corrupts absolutely" - Lord Action 1907.

Easy going journey of OP MC like Saitama. Not many ups and down but if you are boring of normal xianxia story you will find it enjoyable. Something that make you will follow story are Mystery of MC upper limit, mystery of MC true identity, many arrogant Bosses that think they are the strongest but got One Killed by MC. Yeah, almost all those villain in boss level so we almost not encounter any minions or cry-baby Young Master which is something good for most of experienced xianxia readers.

I do... more>> not give it 5 stars because its world building not that BIG like many others xianxia even though the scale still in universe. What I mean not that Big is the plot make MC rise too quickly so there are no in-depth exploration of many faction and so all. The positive thing is the plot not that repetitive.

And if I compare it to Top Tier Providence world building, I still could feel the strength of many big factions and big bosses in Top Tier but not in this novel because even though the MC both OP, this novel MC OP at the start with a little bit level up as the story progress. <<less
