i don't understand what is the negative review about in this novel, the score also very low somehow.

the novel is really really great but also " very Slow to start the best part " At the same time because "MC literally start from rock bottom with no money".

in this novel you can get Character Grow, every Friend MC Grow to something great, MC has the idea for world grew as well "world development by introducting tecnology, New Snacks and Ideas".

yes I know "The Convenience Store Part will make reader bored... more>> similar watching people grinding / collecting / do side quest in a game " but the Miss Understanding Part great, and not like other isekai here our MC very very so he need to think how to clear some situations.

so it balanced. so I give it 5 star.

except for you a guy who like quick actions and hate very very slow story and shipping this girl that girl, specially the psycho yandere elf......... " I mean why you like her seriously ? " also hate harem, you maybe give this 3 or 4, because I undertand there soo much best girl to pick, but reader forgot MC is prince so why not just married all of them right ?

im not joking the story is slow, I mean really really slow build up. <<less

I think this is a fine novel all thinvs considered

But the thing that got on my nerve the most is the interaction between the protagonist and one character.

The character that the protagonist dislike from the game for some reason, and he in turn treated that character like dirt for equally unknown reason.

It would be fine if this was made as a character flaw for the protagonist for disliking someone based on the game character, But Nope! The protagonist was always right and never wrong, and it's totally fine because that... more>> character is a masochist so the protag is justified to treated her like garbage for no reason. <<less

If you're going to give a protagonist the ability to see others' romantic affection for him, don't make him a s*upid dense harem protagonist. He can see that his fiancee has high affection for him, and yet he keeps acting like he believes she's not interested in him... same for the others of course.

Aside from that, I detest almost all the interaction between him and his sister (and her student council). He keeps going on and on in his head about how she's his sister and he cares... more>> for her, but his actions show that he's using her as a tool and verbally abusing her whenever he can. And saying this is how a sibling relationship should be.

Aside from that, it's a relatively average slice-of-life story with a dumb protagonist who gets treated as a genius because he knows the game setting and its exploits. Oh, and unsurprisingly the convenience store could be removed from the story and have no effect whatsoever except making the protagonist look about 30 IQ points smarter. And instead of healing there's more suffering. <<less

Not that great. Joke. I rate it 5 out of 5 because I can relate to the protagonist's logical belief.

Who would even enjoy to possess someone's body? Thats possession. You are a thief who stole the body of the original owner. Thats the MC here. And so do I. Its better to be resurrected under the influence of true God. I can tell the author is a bit religious because he always add a scripture.

It is interesting series, but looking at the current rate, I assume readers who loved overpowered,... more>> atheist or evil God's projects will rate it down in disappointment or loathe it to the core, lol.

MC is no Beta, but he is pretentious chad. Nonetheless, he is relatable adult man because the author shows how terrible the world we are living in.

What I love in this novel is the moral lesson. For example, whatever you do in this material world, you will never be able to bring it with you when you die. Women are temporary. Loving God and your second life is eternal.

Being introvert is a gift because you can live alone. And you enjoy the life by feigning no mind about the trouble world. The new world is vast, your life is short, so you better use your chance to redo your life until your death. MC doesn't need to join the plot. Because the world doesnt give a sh*t about him too. Mind your own business, alas. Poor or rich, both are in different status but in the end, status doesnt matter. Just enjoy your life in the another world.

Thats what I emphasize in this story. Only a reader with deep and complex understanding will like it. And one of them is me and you.

The bad side of this series is the harem part. Women are annoying here. But they are competent, lol. Highly recommended for sigma males. <<less

Meh novel, it's like a mix of cooking, slice of life, comedy, and a sprinkle of Isekai level system. Mob protag says he wants to avoid messing with the story but immediately starts thinking of ways to influence the story right after. Characters are one-note, the story doesn't take itself seriously, if you've read these types of novels before this is just another one of those fillers. Maybe it'll get better later?

This is a very enjoyable read. The novel does not have urgency and is very nice if you are looking for a nice relaxing fantasy/gamelike story. The reincarnated main character knows (nearly) everything in the world he is put in and the only limitation is his character's stats that are holding him back. The secondary characters are all very unique (save the first year chicks that kind of blend together except for mille feuille she has some important chapters) and have interesting names that make them difficult to forget. I... more>> really like the way some secondary characters talk as it is something you would not hear unless it was in a fictional story (using the words: rebel, revolution, reform in their everyday normal speech) and this made it really funny to read. The main character also refers to a lot of korean references (particularly food spices) which other koreans could get a nice chuckle out of but may seem odd or downright confusing to foreigners but other than that I think everyone should give this a try if they are looking for something relaxing with a few action scenes to flare up the story. <<less

What a somewhat cool idea that is completely thrown away and turned into every really bad academy novel.

The original concept of this guy is going to open a convenience store and we get a slice of life approach to his pov of the generic 'main' storyline, sounded kinda fun (this is literally what he tells us he wants to do)

I'm a big fan of convenience stores in Korea/Japan so sign me up.

Wrong! The convenience store aspect is tossed away immediately. It just turns into the place he lives and... more>> that's it. He doesn't even seem to care about earning a profit or running the store like he claims since all he does is give free candy to the girls who are suddenly in love with him since he gave them chocolate?....

And the whole 'Im not gonna get involved in the plot' yeah that lasts a day before he decides to help a background character beat the protagonist in a fight because he feels bad for her getting her ass kicked?....

Plus this entered my top 5 cringe brother-sister duos, which is quite a list to be on....

Basically this just turns every bad academy novel after like 2 chapters with nothing original <<less

Main character isn't an edgelord. The characters are fun. Part of the humour comes from the MC making clearly dumb mistakes (like smugly doubling the in-game prices of items he sells, but forgetting the value should be 100x in this world where supply and demand are different). The story is meant to be a fun read, and I think the rating is suffering from people taking it too seriously.

This is a fun academy story where the MC is trying to navigate a story that he already knows. The writing quality is good and the author does a great job of making you feel like there actually is an original story and background that he really is pulling from. But the actual story is only good if you like the MC and there is no denying that he is a dense harem protagonist. So give it a shot for a fun academy harem but if you don't like the... more>> MC after the first 20 chapters, go ahead and drop it.

Don't let the tags fool you, there is a level system but it is not something that the MC makes use of. He is ridiculously weak and stays that way. I wouldn't go so far as to call this "slow life" but it is somewhere between fantasy slice of life and action. There is action, there is intrigue, but the MC is so weak that he cannot contribute to any kind of battle so the side characters do all of the fighting. He still manages to get involved in events in his own way but that way is never going to be physical or magical. He is more of a planner and thinkerwho supports the fighters. <<less

Since the majority of korean academy novels have harem, you have to focus on the other parts of the story instead. Convenience store that doesn't get any sales (instead MC brings the items in the store to the academy, meaning the store itself is redundant - it's just where MC lives after getting kicked out of his dorm room). Interactions are above the norm for these types of novels - harem members aren't all yanderes/tsunderes, and the original MC of this academy game is completely non-existent, as he never got... more>> any opportunities to shine. OG MC wasn't made to be the bad guy, or become an ally, so that's new. The interaction the MC has with his sister, is rather cringe though - author clearly never had a sibling.
Spoiler

Like pointing middle fingers at each other after a conversation then smiling is just cringe af, and this keeps happening.

My overall rating for this academy novel is a 3.5 (it only shows 4.0 because there's no option for 3.5) <<less

I don't know why this is rated so low. It's a decent slice-of-life novels, that focus more on commerce. It is more of a slow life type of Slice-of-life similar to "Tensei Shite Inaka de Slowlife wo Okuritai". On another note, the action tag should really be removed because it hardly have any action scene at all, nor is it a focus on it. If you were hoping for tons of amazing fights, you are better reading "How to Survive at the Academy" or "The Demon Prince goes to the... more>> Academy" instead.

As for the comedy, it's only at the level of smiling at a pet giving you the eyes, that's about it. You not going to get any comedy at the level of KonoSuba, nor the fluffy feeling of romance novels giving you diabetes. <<less

The beginning was fine, but it just was too average for my tastes.

My problem was the character reactions and how they evolved, it's too simple, making the "redeeming villain" act cheap.

I really like this novel. However, 116 chapters in and it feels less like the MC is running a convenience store and more like he is a chef that sometimes sells other things.

It is slice of lifey as others have mentioned. It doesn't feel like the MC has to worry about any game ending apocalypses.

Spoiler

Also the original MC of the universe is nearly absent from the plot.

[collapse]

MC has the s*upid dense affliction for the romantic feelings of girls, so avoid if that is an instant turn off. I really like all the heroines so far and am interested in each. <<less

Not for me...

It's not quite a SoL novel and not quite a fantasy academy novel. As usual, the MC goes around changing/solving story beats from the OG story. This is fine, but... he isn't really active, almost everything is solved by talking or other people. So the novel is in an awkward spot where it's generic but also underwhelming. The day to day SoL isn't anything special and hampered by the generic academy pacing. Other characters are one-note and the oblivious gag seemingly all characters have isn't very funny.

That... more>> said, there is nothing wrong with the story or the writing so I'll give it 3 stars. <<less

It's a good slice of life story, moving at a good pace, has funny interactions with characters and MC isn't overpowered like many of stories in this genre, and to top it all of, the translation is very good.

It's a light hearted novel which you can enjoy reading at a leisure pace, I would say give it a try if you have nothing else to read. Just go in without any expectation of something grand, you might enjoy it.

The story kept me interested for a while, but eventually became repetitive. There was a lot of promise at the beginning, but it fails to live up to it. The MC is inconsistent, and his competency is often in doubt.

The world, too, suffers from a lack of consistency. Or, perhaps it's more like the author hasn't actually built it. They just improvise, making it difficult to understand the underlying truth of the world. Perhaps that is the point? Perhaps the world is as chaotic as it seems, and the islands... more>> of sanity placed there from shere happenstance?

If my review is harsh, it's because I entered into the story with a sense of anticipation and hope, and I'm a tinge irked at where I now find myself <<less
