During the summer when I was eighteen, I was saved by a delinquent.

He mistook me for a girl and confessed his feelings to me.

However, I could only tell him that I was also a man.

Enraged, he threw a beautifully made cake straight onto the ground.

Seven years later, when we met again, he wouldn’t even look me in the eye.

The story was handled a lot better than I expected. The casual probes of two men with good impressions who cannot forget how awkward their last encounter had been for them both. One felt deceived and the other felt completely confounded that his good buddy had mistaken him for a girl during their interactions. Yet, neither could forget each other over the years until they finally built up the courage to take the necessary steps toward each other.

To be honest, the title made me worry the plot would contain a... more>> lot of angst or perhaps have a bad ending. There was at least one line near the end of a chapter that I mistook for a second as foreshadowing of a tragedy. In actuality, the time skip allows the readers focus on the sweetness of the past and the delicate mood of the current. How to face each other and reconcile after so many years? They give each other space at first, which I respect. How to deal with a gap of 7 whole years? That is not a short time.

The read is a good experience and I hope others enjoy the subtleties of their cautious but inevitable approach as much as I did. <<less

A very basic and bare bones story, even for one with an apparent 8 parts. It turns out that each part is basically composed of a few small sections, which sometimes makes the story seem disjointed with lil snippets of time spread out over months. I’m also not convinced why the MC feels guilty when he did nothing wrong and it was just a misunderstanding from the ML. Props to the ML for the dedication though in being able to find the MC with nothing but like an appearance in... more>> his memory. Glad everything ended well. <<less

I’d describe this read as just the right one. There wasn’t too much drama or anything of that matter, which made it a good story.

How the characters handled their situation gradually was done and written well, making the pacing fit the progress of their relationship. It didn’t feel so forced, instead feeling as if it was meant to happen like that for good reasons. As they progressed and developed, I found their interactions to be natural; and when they finally got together, it also just felt the same – better,... more>> even.

Overall, I enjoyed just how natural and relaxed everything was; you’ll also enjoy staying to read more on how sweet they could be together ^-^ <<less

Surprisingly (or not?) turned so sweet.

I was worried how ML would approach MC. But it turned out really smooth.

ML didn't immediately boldly charge toward MC. He did it step by step. Somewhat act like Tsundere at the beginning, and then start to being honest and more doting.

Things between them was really sweet. No rush nor slow. I really Love it!
