Remember to read the warnings! They're there to save you from getting secondhand trauma about something that you shouldn't take lightly!!

With that out of the way, it was very traumatic to read this. I felt bad for everyone, but also not at the same time. To call this a toxic mess is actually an understatement. It's worse! And with the no love trope (which was warned about, so no complaints here) there was no sunshine to look forward to. This novel is best described as the pits of hell and... more>> despair for everyone involved. I think at least I know my baseline to what I'll read in the future next time. My baseline is above this.

This novel is a tragedy in the truest sense. MC and ML are both bad, but I think ML is more evil. There is no romance genre until the end of the novel. If you can't stand this, don't read this novel. I think the author just implements all his sadistic thoughts in poor MC. That dog chapter is really disgusting. I don't recommend reading this novel.

ML is really crazy. When MC doesn't remember the past and what he did to ml, this new guy (MC without memory) is seriously innocent. So whatever ML did to MC under the pretext of revenge, he did to an innocent person. ML is really disgusting. I don't want to justify mc's past actions, but ml's actions were a hundred times worse. The author makes MC look worthless. ML causes MC to be gangr*ped twice. Shiiiit. MC can't finish college because he's afraid of going out and he's unemployed and has no job and has to accept whatever the bastard ML gives him.🤦It's truly a tragedy.

I read the tags, I understand the trigger warnings. What I really hate is just how s*upid Kwon Jiwook is. The author made him so dumb that even with knowing the backstory it was like watching someone take advantage of a intellectually disabled person. If the author had made Jiwook even a tiny bit smarter, with even a hint of survival skills, this would've been better. But he had none; he was as dumb as a box of rocks and just really had zero common sense.

In a way I think... more>> this was the author's commentary on chauvinists and rapists, but it doesn't go very far when the antagonist Juyeon is also a rapist and apparently was also terrible to women and r*ped other people who were NOT Jiwook. They're both terrible, but I truly hate when authors make people dumb. <<less
