Except the extra that gives us a 'what if' bad ending. That one I had to skip and just the last few paragraphs made me sad.

Just an average person, meets the ML and is confused on why this man he has never met asks like he knows him and threatens to kill him if he 'tries' to die or says he wants to die.

He has scars all over his body (the most prominent one being around his neck) and is very scared of the MC dying. He seems to know everything about what happening and where is dangerous who they should meet ect.

Basically, which this is forshadowed throught the entire novel, everytime the MC dies, the zombie apocolypse restarts from the beginning and only the ML remembers. The ML has gone a little psycho from restarting over and over again plus watching the MC die over and over again. He also keeps the wounds from each loop.

TW: su*cide Attempt

He starts treating everybody (kinda including the MC) like npcs and game characters bc he believes it can't be reality bc 'how could reality be so cruel.' He has this state of mind until the MC decided to sacrifice himself for him, and he realizes this is reality, these are real people and 'how could I have been treating him (mc) like this.' Just before the MC dies, he takes a knife and tries to cut his own head off, thinking he might finally die bc it works for the zombies.

It doesnt work. And the apocalypse starts over again, and this is when the book starts. So to the MC and the readers this guy is kinda strange and acting like he knows the MC. But the the ML he's still stuck in the past loop, disoriented and not realizing it's the next one. He realizes later (but we don't see that)

This is all revealed in a bunch of chapter in his pov. As we are going through these chapters he is also telling the MC the truth.

At some point the MC gets bitten and is locked in some room and the ML fights the ppl until hes put in the room too, where they think the MC will turn. He gets sick like everyone usually does, but is fine in the morning, turns out hes immune.

Its a happy ending, but it does make tou scared for a second. The characters get to the front gate of the school, find out the government put a huge wall there and have soldiers stationed outside that shoot even if you look alive.

The MC is shot in the ankle, the ML in the side. ML thinks he's gonna die and wants the MC to go alone, MC refuses. They escape to some mountainbpath (MTL is confusing), and a younger soldier finds them but hesitates to shoot, a zombie comes, the MC helps the soldier, getting bitten in the process, and it taken to the hospital since he's not turning and could help make a cure.

Theyre free!!!!! The univeristy was the only place affected, bc it was the source and was pluggled quick enough.

Cannot remember the three main side characters names I think its Na Kaye, Oh Hae Uen and Hanbin? Something like that. Anyway I so like them. They werent in the majorty of the novel, the first two we meet earlier and they come back later, which so glad they survived. The last one we meet near the end and hes cute.

Mostly sweet. MC and ML are together, they are so cute and try to deal with the trauma and such.

One of the extras we learj the ML is kinda at fault. His bday is the 24th, some people (mtl was unclear, might have been seniors, or just ppl he don't not like) made him go drinking or something. He gets drunk, some lab graduate student takes them to the Chem building to drink more. He gets Ramen spilt on his clothes and the grad student gives him the keyboard for a room with sink. He's drunk so he misses the light switch the first time and instead turns (on? Off?) This machine thing. And I guess the virus was in it. The MC says he doesn't care if you were the cause.

Also RINGS!!!! In the last extra it's so cute!!!

esp ML about to lose his mind and want this looping to end and make MC live. His pov was really my fav since it fleshed out more of his charac and how he's losing himself bcz of looping plus how he formed his obsession to hohyun, the stages from interest-protective-hate-obsession-love-"pls dont hate me" to hohyun. I applaud his mental capacity ngl

the bike scene got me facepalming.

I really like how Youngwon was already interested with Hohyun while he saw him smoking and already have some dirty thoughts lol

soldiers shooting the survivors broke me and made me tear up in frustration, they were finally out man...I REALLY THOUGHT ML WOULD DIE (esp him realizing something when the suv passed the lab building and the (not) foreshadowing of "as long as MC lives") BUT IM GLAD HE SURVIVED. I think the unnamed student that went with them died from the shot, if im not wrong. Srsly hate the higher-ups here. Love Nahye and the others too, glad they made it alive

are so cute and realistic esp the traumas. Even while CP cuddles, them feeling their heart beats calms them down. I love Hohyun living with Youngwon + ml's vulgar talks again lol. Most zombie plots I read when having happy ending, the characs mostly moved on too fast.

Hohyun comforting Youngwon after he confessed that it's his fault was really sweet (imo, it's the graduate lab student was irresponsible. He's much more at fault than ml. And even if ML didn't pressed a wrong switch, sooner or later it will be done by diff person. I bet MC thought of this thing)

AAAAAA the 1st christmas after surviving, where it wasn't written but IMPLIED THAT YOUNGWON SAID ILY TO HOHYUN

Last side story was also cute, I'm crying. Their "big fight" got me crying laughing and hohyun being assertive even with rabbit costume was great. The rings tho AAAAAAA the both I love yous too

the "if bad ending" was bittersweet, I'm glad that ML won't be alone anymore in the looping, now MC remembers but the endless cycle being trapped in there was hellish. How nahye and the others asking for help was depressing since even if they try to save them it would be inevitable. Rip mc's ass too. What I can't take tho was MC surviving without ML anymore, which is im glad author didn't have that possibility.

esp why ML loops, im thinking maybe the one who pushed the switch makes them loop. And MC looping in BE route, maybe bcz he's now aware of the looping that he became part of it? Tho these are just theories.

I kinda didnt like the reveal of the virus spreading, it didnt gave much impact. It's just that there's something lacking about the virus itself (not about ml's doing btw). Tho the journey from it made me rate this high

I dunno if I read it right but hohyun had one of his hands severed off but later on it was never mentioned again, though I could be mistaken and it was just from one of the previous timelines

sometimes the pov gets a problematic translation but context is clear enough

Even at their honeymoon phase, I teared reading whenever both of them faces the pstd they got from the experience and how they lick each other's wounds. I'm also happy I could read Youngwon's POV

MC woke up in his dorm when he noticed abnormalities in the dormitory (too quiet, his phone was filled with messages, etc). He went to investigate and saw a zombie. That's when he ran into ML who killed the zombie but strange thing was... ML kept acting like he knew MC😱😱😱😱.

ML wanted to duck MC while MC was looking at a map and trying to figure where they should go next --> TOO much instances of these things happening in a ZOMBIE apocalypse.

Which is pretty funny considering how ML is VERY adamant about wanting MC to live and then in another chapter, he ducks MC while they were with a hostile group (near chapter 50-60ish in the official english novel). I would THINK he would be more focused on exploring or checking everything considering that was his first time in the main campus and they didn't know anything about the group they were with and they already said that they were sus of the group🧍‍♂️🧍‍♂️🧍‍♂️

+ idt they even explain abt how exactly did ML keep looping (only abit of ML being responsible)

ML sorta losing his mind after regressing so many times bc of MC, his feelings and thoughts of MC constantly saving him, felt like could be more chapters talking abt it. For example, the novel could've talked abt how he lost his mind and to cope with his trauma, he resorted to p*rn with his baby.
