This was enjoyable and fast read smut novel with minor plot. The snu-snu moments were hot and ML (Xuan Ye Cheng) was obssessed and doting to FL (Jin Ling Zan).

His obssession rooted on being rebirthed and seeing her dead body in past life (after 2yrs of being married). He lived throughout 1st life living alone as Emperor... after being rebirthed/regressed, he finally able to be together again with FL.

For con, the ending felt short and left wanting more. I want to know more of their past life and future together... more>> with babies (bc they got no heir in past life). Also, want to see FL's Cousin x Imperial Physician's story.. <<less

it was good, certainly worth a reading

it was very sweet story with a tragic backstory (before rebirth).

ML was extremely doting to FL and FL was a cute white rabbit.

Though it was quite short and it felt very compact... I believe if the author wrote another 40 chapters maybe it would have a great novel in his hands.

Nonetheless I enjoyed it.

There is an actual story line that started out with a tragic separation of 25 years after the death of the FL, until the ML himself willingly succumbs to an arrow wound, wishing to join her in death. The rebirther is the ML but it's dual and 3rd pov. Despite the interesting premise, the FL lacks personality and her character is very flat/2D. The ML is just a little more interesting to read but he's just like any other "average" ML who's mean to everyone else but nice to/obsessed w... more>> FL. At least he has a tiny bit more depth than FL. The translation is well done. This novel seems short. I think there's another novel with very similar premise with a lot more chapters without the smut tag if you guys aren't into wading thru all the intense stuff. The H isn't really long and exhausting, and most is micro h. <<less
