I read it to the end but in raws, so I don't understand everything.
I could say it's sweet and adventurous, I'm glad I found this story.
Though there are IMHO many contradictions in the characters that kinda kill the atmosphere and make the story less believable. So I wouldn't say it is deep or leaves a great impact.
1 - What's with all that torturing in the beginning? Is ML a sadist? He doesn't seem to be later. Is there a point? No.
2 - How does Bat's love connected with the tortures? He falls for the ML before all that and while ML shows to him devotion and love and it attracts Bat, but how does the pain influence him? It seems the author tried to uses two kinds of stories in one.
3 - It is said the ML uses the same methods of torture on many other people. So he's a maniac. What does he fall for Bat then with such vast experience?
4 - ML looks like possessive jealous type and he swears that nobody will hurt his Bat. Yet his subordinate hurts him, touches his naked body - and the ML discusses it and jokes about it. Where is the logic?
