This is easily my favorite QT-type story. I went on to MTL up to the second arc I think and I fell in love with the story and the characters, despite not understanding everything 100%. The only reason I stopped, actually, was because of irl stuff, it's sad tho that the translations are very slow.

Anyway, the reason why this QT story stands out to me out of all the rest is the length of the story and the number of arcs - this allows the author to write concise mini... more>> stories that are actually well-written with the characters being fleshed out and there's also no ridiculous FLs / MLs that you love to hate. Of the two arcs I read, especially the second one which was much easier to MTL since it's set in modern times rather than ancient, I just loved the interactions btwn the MC and her ML, they were well done and I personally didn't feel like the ML was too overbearing / etc even tho.... that is his character type.

Also, the author has great writing style compared to most of these type of stories. I feel like since the story is much shorter compared to other QT type stories (there's only 5 or so arcs I think!), the author had much more time to invest in the characters, descriptions, etc. instead of relying on the typical tropes. Personally I really liked the MC, and altho the ML isn't my favorite type, he won me over. It was also really nice to see that the FL of the first two arcs wasn't villainized or anything - altho sometimes the original ML was.

I'm hoping that this eventually gets translated fully so I can enjoy this story and be able to understand it in its full glory, but just by MTL-ing the first two arcs I was already very happy. That's how I know this story is really good, at least imo. <<less

Finally finished MTL this story.. So far so good... The story did not drag much... Only five arcs in total.. The drama was also shortened, so you will not have a headache over it anyway... Happy ending except for the slag male (world protag) mostly... LOL...

aye, i've also MTL-ed the story to completion!

yes, the story is mostly fluff, yassss! Give me all the fluff! There are some plot points, but it's not so deep. Though throughout, you do get curious about what actually happened between them, but it's all answered in the end! I like the female lead because she's a cooler type of person, haha! I like the arcs too, they were pretty fun to read with thembeing mostly fluff, hahaha!

One of the best QT novel I've read so far. It's not as easy to MTL as other QT story (especially the ancient ars). The story itself gives me a bit of mixed feelings, very sweet but can be frustrating. Each of the arc are well written considering how short the total chapter are. Which is my biggest issue so far 😭 I really wish for moree..

I also like how the side characters as well as oriFL&ML are not just paper character or purely antagonistic like a lot of QT... more>> novel of this genre, some sort of have unexpected traits or quirks (although most of the oriML are slag), and the arcs have it's twist and turn, they actually have plots, not just consists pharagraphs of ML and FL beauty over and over again like a lot of CN novel does 😂, which really relieves me a lott.

Overall you will enjoy the chemistry between our leads, this novel really deserve more attention 💖 as expected of jjwxc, they rarely publish bad quality works

5 stars because overall rating is too low.

MC is really very impressive, she's decisive and rational (although she seems a bit s*upid in arc1 lmao). ML is never a genuine good person, he's pretty much evil to the bones in the beginning lmao. Their story is interesting and is nicely encapsulated in 5 arcs. I like that both characters prefer a long lifetime of peace compared to any short-term glory.

The only thing I'd say is that the time difference doesn't really make sense to me. So is ML or isn't... more>> he thousands of years old? If not, how'd his ranking get so high? If so, uhhh... Same for MC, within 3 years she can get such a high ranking? Compared to old monsters that are almost eternal? Uhh.... but this isn't a big problem anyway.

Oh, and also the amount of scums in this story is quite a lot lol. They're not zero-IQ scums, but they're pretty scummy.... Ying Yuan was the best though. <<less
