First, Bleak Ruby's translation is amazing. I first read Bleak Ruby's translation of Dash, so I knew what to expect, but I'm still blown away that a translator of this quality is doing this as a labor of love. Thank you, Bleak Ruby!

And thank you for getting new chapters out so quickly. We're lucky to have such a quick translator!

A little boring at first, but it has almost everything a Korean BL reader wants.

Shou is a little emotionally weak but I've already grown fond of him.I have to say I totally understand Haeil or whatever her name is, guys and girls, this is a good Alpha × Alpha novel, very good imaginative visual food.

Gong is a Don Juan at the beginning but as the story progresses he becomes addicted to Shou, basically he fell in love for the first time and from being mere curiosity he developed feelings.

I read until 20 chapters and it was a bit boring on some parts but overall I liked it and it made me giggle, for now I rate it like 4.3/5

I love their POV and how they interact with each other^^

I love the ML's dialogue the most and how he is slowly falling in love also how he endured the hormone shower for the sweet scent of MC, cqnt wait to see them as more than a couple of neighbors lol

I first read the first 5 chapters of the manhwa and got a recommendation to read the novel. Boy was I not disappointed.

If you're looking for 150 chapters of doting, cute found family, and feels, Alphega delievers.

The plot: While not super dramatic, plays a critical role in every characters motivations. It is simple and well built on but poses realistic obstacles so we can focus on the romance and character growth. Character backstories are decently fleshed out and all relate in a way that makes it feel like their actions... more>> affect each other.

At least for the main family. I would love to know more about MC's secretary, either of the dominant omegas that show up, and ML's parents. But the MC's family all had their own moments. Which makes sense because the author has another story based on the MC's older brother that I have not read yet.

Our main cp has my heart (´∀｀*) I could not get enough of their funny antics, care for each other, and how quickly such silly misunderstands are solved once they realize everything they do is for each other.

Although I get annoyed for our ML when the MC disregards himself but old habits die hard. And he gradually gets better because of all the love and care is is finally shown by realizes he has people on his side.

I never once doubted them, I was rooting for them the whole time because they cared about each other.

The romance was so oh-my-goodness, feet-kicking, mouth-covering-giggles, side-eyeing-the-ghost-next-to-me, looking-away-and-blushing worthy. The smut was hot, but does not even compare to how cute their interactions are. All they do is think about each other, worry and want the best for each other. Truly heartwarming, I might have cavities or I just feel really single right now.

The space where Baek Kanghyeon's breath had lingered.

The bed soaked with Baek Kanghyeon's sweet scent.

The clothes that carried Baek Kanghyeon's warmth.

This bedroom, which perfectly had all three elements, seemed to know exactly what Haeil wanted. It would surely take pity on him and intervene in his dreams.

If that were the case, he'd welcome it.

To be able to see Baek Kanghyeon even in his dreams.

Thinking that, he let out a soft, meaningless laugh.

I put this one off for too long. I love it so much. I love both characters, obviously the ML can be annoying, but I still find him endearing, and of course I love the MC. Bleak Ruby's translation is fantastic as always.

I am currently stressed about how the next few chapters will play out

Kanghyeon is such a great character as well, so tough and so caring to all the people he loves. They also love him as much in turn. His father is really the only big hurdle in the happy ending to this story.

This story is far less frustrating and stressful compared to Scentless Trail/Unscented Trajectory which is in the same universe.

The translation (Bleak Ruby's) is also excellent as always.

I read this in two days and I lost some sleep but it was worth it.

I expected the ML to be such a red flag since this is korean omegaverse and it has a manhwa. If you've seen your fair share of that kind of combination, you'd definitely know that the MLs of those kinds weren't exactly... endearing.

Expectations were dashed IN A GOOD WAY. The ML is a lovesick fool and I get this feeling of wanting to smile whenever he's on the spotlight. Obsessive and possessive BUT IN A... more>> HEALTHY WAY, and I am so happy with it.

Reading the prologue, I expected lots of angst or some kind of dog-blooded "I chase you, you keep running, and then we go in a long cycle of that"... Nah, NONE OF THAT. I was clapping like a ret*rded seal because this felt like a healing story and it is the mature kind of healing. The couple communicates, the family dynamics is a bit... but they're doing their best.

The R-18 scenes are... chef's kiss. You know what I mean.

Overall, I enjoyed the story very much because we did see the kiddos (plus points when that happens in omegaverse). The only thing I would criticize is the lack of side stories about the omega brothers, although I do think that they can get their own book especially the eldest.

Recommended read and it is fully translated so you know you can read this without any worries of stopping midway. <<less

The concept of dominant alpha having omega trait is new to me, and it's actually really interesting. So it's alpha x alpha/omega (?).

It's a mature relationship between 2 working adults. My favorite part is that they TALK. There are a lot of moments where things can create misunderstanding, but they just talk it out.

ML is such a simp, he fell first but also fell harder. His character is interesting, he's pushy but also know his boundary. I love him. MC is also not simple, I just want to give him... more>> a hug and pat his head. Meeting ML is a breath of fresh air for him.

Such a great omegaverse. I loved the characters, their quirks, their relationship. F*cking adorable (in terms of Haeil)

i very much enjoyed reading it. I usually get bored and drop series because my tolerance for nonsense is pretty low but never once I thought about dropping it. I was grinning ear to ear most of the chapters, teared up in a few, and breathed heavy a few times but it left me with a heartwarming feeling.

I didn’t expect to strike gold when clicking on this novel. I read up to chapter 10 of the manhwa yesterday and immediately went to look for the novel. Just finished the novel today, and I’m happy to say that this is such a breath of fresh air compared to most ABOverse novels. Reasons among them being:

  1. Little to no miscommunication issues. Both MC and ML are forthright when they have something they want to achieve. They are very mature and talk through their problems directly, despite the MC being somewhat repressed emotion wise.
  2. Fairly smooth problem solving from both MCs. Again, they are smart adults and act as such.
  3. The ML!! He’s very very sweet despite seeming like a sleazy guy at first impression. He respects the MC and cares deeply for his emotions and wellbeing. He’s madly in love with the MC and reading his monologues about MC are definitely highlights of the story. Def one of my favorite ML in this genre.
  4. Not much unnecessary melodrama in the story. Yes,

    , but all of his brothers love him dearly and support his goals. This makes the story very easy to read despite having 140ish chapters, the moderate length of each chapter helped as well.

The only thing that l can say about this novel is that its f*cking beautiful. The romance in this book is so f*cking cute especially with how the MC and ML treat eachother with so much love and respect. I don't really read korean novels and l tend to avoid them because they have so many red flags and overall the romance doesen't feel like romance. Alphega is so exceptionally distinct in the way that it manages to incorporate all the company politics with the romance in a way thats... more>> new and refreshing. But tbh l don't really read korean novels so l don't know if there are any novels that also have these elements.

What you do need to know about this novel is that its s*upid fun to readヾ (≧▽≦*) o. Its basically Black cat MC x Golden retriever ML. Their dynamic is just *chefs kiss* and the way that they trust eachother and communicate so there aren't any of those s*upid misunderstandings. The side characters also get their share of love especially the MC's brothers, its heartwarming to see siblings who really love and care for eachother in novels. Also the babies are cute af. The oldest's already got my heart already🥰.

But seriosly l wouldn't have enjoyed the novelas l did if it wasn't for Bleak Ruby's translation. Thank you so much for the translation, seriosly. <<less

Alphega is definitely, for me, such a treat to read! One of the best Omegaverse I’ve read!

Ngl my expectations were low, but it’s bc it was BleakRuby who was translating it that I gave it a go. To my surprise, Alphega caught me off guard by having such a nice consistent plot, and well written characters.

I’m so glad I stuck through the end because otherwise I wouldn’t have known how much of a f*cking, pardon my language, simp Haeil is! I love his character growth!

Especially how considerate he was to Kanghyeon when he got pregnant! I’m always sceptical when it comes to the MLs and their treatment towards their partner once they get pregnant, so I’m glad Haeil wasn’t one of those as*hole MLs

And Kanghyeon, he’s so cute! I feel like I’ve become Haeil and his brothers who just want to dote on him nonstop lmao. Sometimes I want to bonk him in the head just so he can rest because bro is really testing a human’s limitations on how overwork they can be but I do understand why he pushes himself sm sjdbdjdjd. He’s such a workaholic that I need him to take years of vacation, like go get some rest boy!

Overall, this is a solid novel! The romance was great, the development between the two leads was natural and felt so right! I loved their dynamic of so we aren’t dating, but we act like we do!

I just want to say I hate the Dad so much like holy f*ck you abusive a**hole! I personally didn’t like how they resolved the issue around him. Yeah okay he apologized and realized how abusive he was to Kanghyeon, but what about to his other children? Like yes there was the backstory, but it doesn’t excuse his ab*se dbdhdjdd But yeah I find him despicable since he didn’f even regret his actions, as stated by him.

I'll start it off by saying this (clickbait title woo) - I never truly liked Omegaverse stories. Or rather I just never found one that was actually interesting enough to become memorable. This one tho is prolly the peak of this genre to me.

Problem I have with most ABO stories is most of them would include some sort of non-consensual interc**rse momments and they really tend to overuse and emphasize on them. This one focuses more on the attributes and societal problems regarding it and also has a very strong... more>> plot armor as both MC and ML were dominant to begin with so if you're not into the typical how the average ABO would go type stuff then this would be a good one for sure.

Second is the relationship building was so solid, I won't be spoiling but ML was different from what I expected a lot (I might have made rash judgements based on the cover + genre + type of scenario) and it's not just between the main couple (you'll know what other relationship there is once you get into it)

Third is the plot like the plot is actually plotting.. I mean I was shocked to find out there was actual consistent plot 😭😭😭😭 This is the main reason that kept me reading beside the relationship building as a reader for the plot type of person.

Overall this is what I'd recommend as a really good and original ABO novel for a change of pace from the usual ones.

Edit: brah just realized this was adapted after having read and posted this review lmaoooo mayne I'll go check it out later like no wonder the cover image looked weird to me I thought I was searching for the wrong novel at first 🤡 <<less

Just a short review from me. This omegaverse novel is sooo wholesome and I love the chemistry between the couple, they're my parents. THEY GOT ME GRINNING TO THE CORE

If you want a green forest couple with a sensible non dramatic plot then this for you, this can be in a comfort reading category. The plot's main message for me is equality rights.

The Negroni connection with MC and ML personalities is such a great plus for me

Really good.

I will never believe that anyone with the ML's personality can turn into a caring and loving partner long term but as this is fiction and for the sake of enjoying it I choose to believe 😄

Anyway their relationship started as the ML harassed the MC but later turned into smth gentle and passionate at the same time. Loved them as a couple.

The translation and overall composition of the novel is really well-done, which was a great blessing in really getting into the story without having to get a headache from awfully botched translations. The trials and tribulations that goes on in the Alphega's life to how it has affected him as a person was amazingly written well and really got to me because of how relatable he is. The pacing never felt too daunting or boring, and kept me on my toes at certain points. The ML, despite initially playboy-ish, has... more>> really surprised me on how much of a green flag he is! He is what I would love for most ML's to be like for their partners.

I am not the type to read side stories so yeah. But ghad dayum was this novel good. My friend pointed this novel out saying how absurd that a man with 99% alpha traits and 1% omega traits, like absurd? Count me in!

Loved how until the end Haeil cussed until the end and was a doting lover/husband. Kanghyeon obviously is a cutie patootie. Heard there's another rover about the eldest brother will read that now!

I was following up on this novel since ruby picked it up, I couldn't keep up with the suspense so I had to wait till she finished, so I had high expectations for it, lol.

The novel is interesting, good kinda unique plot with interesting characters too. However, it came across as a childish cliche plot at a point, on some things, especially towards the end. I also feel there's still a barrier between the couple in terms of unrestricted connection, I wasn't comfortable with their honorifics till end, lol. Or... more>> maybe that's how Korean couples are.

The family conflict bit also seems to be handled too lightly for my likening.

It was a good one though. Excellent translation from Ruby as usual. <<less
