Accidentally transmigrated into a dog-blooded BE CEO novel, Ji Ting found himself the number one love rival of the male lead.

The heroine loves him deeply, and the male lead regards him as a thorn in the flesh. According to the development of the plot, Ji Ting knows how his final ending will be — killed by the male lead and lying dead on the street, which is extremely miserable. Fortunately, the male lead has an uncle who is extremely respected and handsome.

nothing much, it's stress-free. MC successfully solved the first point of hatred between og!FL and og!ML so the supposed following conflicts just disappeared. The age gap between MC and ML in this world maybe a bit much for people who cared about this kind of thing (the body MC possessed was 19 while ML was thirty sth).
Spoiler

I'm not kidding when I said it's stress-free. Mc's missions were smooth-sailing. He met another transmigrator who in the past tried to make ML his golden thigh too but failed miserably lolll. MC suddenly came back to his world because he completed his main and side missions, and months later he finally met ML who got transmigrated to his world because he kept recovering his erased memories about mc

too bizarre to be slice of life novel, but this novel could be called down-to-earth.

It's indeed stress free novel, not much conflict, well the conflict seem nonexistent.

The author only focus on MC, it's probably because MC mission isn't too hard, and there's no problem even if he OOC.

... more>> MC character seems to be too carefree, especially cuz he's second rich generation. But not to the point he's ignoring or hurting people that care about him. Because he has bottom line for things.

ML, at first I think he would be another oh-so-typicall doting ML. But at least author tried to bring his character to life. Because the ML knew he's afraid of something and doesn't think that was his weakness.

I probably have problems with the ending, it's too hasty.

But overall it has great dynamics. This probably suitable for someone who want to read fluff, but not too fluff. <<less

4.5 Stars

Best system award for high loyalty and high EQ, despite how 'useless' it was early in the plot.

Spoiler

The system appears to have sacrificed itself for the happy ending despite knowing it would be sent for 'repairs' as punishment for violating system guidelines. The exact repair method is not elaborated on, but other system novels would indicate that the worst case scenario would be essentially death: complete wipe and reboot. Best case scenario they only fix what may be defined as broken. Emotions are a feature not a bug, so system may be OK. The term punishment means that the process is somewhat unpleasant regardless.

Good characterization and decent plot. The ending was somewhat rushed and I was shocked at two twists, although they could be interpreted as cop outs by the author who wanted a fluffy non controversial ending.

Spoiler
  1. The Villain is the Greatest Assist - I did not expect the villain to be an ally at all. I was waiting for the mansion to turn into a bloodbath even after the protagonist began to trust the villain. Perhaps even a major betrayal scene. None of this. I was also disappointed that we never saw him again even as a guest at their wedding.
  2. The ML is truly a book character - Usually ML's have an existing real world identity. A comment about choosing a 'partner' in the first few chapters also made me think they entered the world together so I even suspected that the ML was his older non blood related brother. The partner being paired up was probably the system being allocated to the host and I misunderstood. The system finds a way for the main characters to have the perfect ending despite the ML being a real paper person. Most of the extras are the MC trying to adapt to life without ML and then trying to help his family adapt once he appears.

+1 star -> Not all females are evil villains: Mrs. Lu (Shen's sister), Ms. Jiang (Chen's crush, Shen's admirer), First Detective Agency Client, Female Protagonist, 2 female servants, multiple female employees/secretaries, etc.

-.5 star -> A big bummer that the detective agency was not more developed more. The cases were interesting and the MC could have informed his officer friend about his new job to pull in official cases. <<less
