Yu Tang transmigrated into a novel and became the simpish cannon fodder shou Yu Tang, who was deeply in love with the film emperor Sui Si. But he could not attain his love.

Yu Tang voluntarily sacrificed himself for Sui Si and got into a fake marriage with him to calm down public opinion, taking the blame for him and shielding him from the slander.

He personally sent Sui Si to a hotel, watching him embrace his underground boyfriend, who he deeply loved. Meanwhile, he sat alone in the car outside the hotel to be on the lookout.

He never had any extravagant hope nor overstepped the boundaries. He did not live in Sui Si’s house and only appeared when he needed him.

Because the Book Transmigration Bureau was understaffed, they could only dispatch one person to a world. In this world, he was responsible for three other books at the same time.

Sui Si achieved success with his true lover. However, his only regret was Yu Tang, who he had used and let down.

He knows that Yu Tang loved him desperately and would do anything for him. His line of vision will always be on him, waiting for him to turn around and reciprocate his feelings. He knows that Yu Tang won’t be able to live without him.

After the wedding concluded, Sui Si looked at the empty guest seat. Thinking that Yu Tang wanted to take his own life, Sui Si’s heart started to beat violently, and he pushed away his questioning lover and the reporters. With red eyes filled with regret, he rushed to the deserted hotel rooftop.

…..

He then discovered that on the deserted rooftop, there were three other people with red eyes and filled with regrets, exactly like him.

At the time when Yu Tang received the mission, he had once repeatedly confirmed with the system whether the characters in these books would actually meet each other.

System: “You can simp with ease. We have received professional training, so there won’t be any problems.”

System: “Are you there?”

System: “There is a problem.”

I don't know for the low rating since the story is good. The stories eventually become attack of the cannon fodder. The stories are connected to one another and there are book-wearers (not really since all are Fr this original world) aside fr MC. Looking forward seeing what will our MC do those those annoying world protagonist.

At first, the MC allows himself to be maltreated and acts accordingly to the script, but eventually counterattacks without being OOC. He doesn't allow the people who cherish the original body to... more>> meet misfortunes, hence our MC always try the limit of how the story can deviate from original timeline without being OOC and accomplish the story tasks (it may be to have the protagonists have their wedding etc).

Downside: I don't see any romance up until ch 58+. The ML was properly introduced here. He existed since the beginning but I didn't notice him (let's see if u can really identify him XD) . Also, I find the ending too dragging. To explain the complexity of the story, the author took her time writing and repeating some scenes/explanations for the story. Good points: very cute interaction of ML and MC (esp when MC transformed in his orig form). Story is well thought and interconnected <<less

I don't think the low rate was fair. It's personally 4/5 for me but I gave 5/5 to lift it up bc it's worth it.

I usually don't like multiple 'transmigrations' or 'world hopping', but this story is interesting in that there's no actual 'transmigration' nor 'world hopping' despite the premise. So in essence, MC is in charge of 4 characters in 4 different books, but 'incidentally', all these books happened in the same world and many side characters overlaps with other books.

The setting is interstellar by the way. It's not... more>> that relevant in the first story but it would be increasingly important later. Mind you that there's a big conspiracy about this.

MC, Yu Tang, is intelligent but cute, if not a bit novice in human emotions department
Spoiler

because he's not a human in the first place. He's an Electronic Storm, who was born from the depths of the universe and is akin to a natural phenomenon. But he's learning nonetheless, and he's also very cute and childish especially when he reverts to his original form of a light ball. He loves cookies, blankets, pillow forts, and a little yellow duck placed on his head 🤣 so cute!

[collapse]
he's also a bit OP and very intelligent, exploring loopholes and making crazy programs to have his way. He claims that in the family, he's the one who's most qualified to deal with the dark and sinister part of humanity, but in actuality he's really just a very good boi. He cared very much about the 'characters' he's responsible for and the people who cherished them, violating the plot again and again to let these people be happy, and in turn, these characters also adored and cared about him very much.

ML, Zhan Chen, is very caring too, he's gentle, knows how to spoil and support his little light ball and would stop at nothing to aid him. The downside is that he only appeared in person in the 'third' story (or the first book in the order of MC taking over it), so you have to wait a while for them to meet.
Spoiler

it would be revealed later in the third and last book why he only appeared that late. Actually ML was the first human who taught MC how to be a human being. ML was sent to capture the Electronic Storm, who was MC, but after staying with MC for a long time and developing affections, he realized that MC was the one he should capture in the first place. ML tried his best to protect MC but they ended up separated and lost their memories. Then series of dimensional stuff happened as they went to search for each other before finally reunited in the third book 🥺

[collapse]
But personally I don't think this is a downside because MC's adventures is already interesting even without any romance.

MC's system is also very cute too! It worried over the MC very much and always tried its best to assist MC and reduced as much pain as possible, even readying to take over the electrocution punishment in MC's place 😭🙏 It adored MC very much 🤧
Spoiler

It was actually the very first 'character' taken over by the MC, Feng Qing, and they both were good friends during their first story, but sinister things happened and later he had forgotten who he was before being formatted and made into MC's system. It only remembered that it liked the Host very much.

[collapse]

MC and the character he took over take turns to control the body, although they're still linked in MC's sea of consciousness. Except in the first story (or the fourth book in the order of MC's transmigration time), which I assumed to be MC's main story bc the character's and MC's name were the same, Yu Tang, and MC didn't coexist with the character's original consciousness, unlike the other books. Instead of taking turns with the character's original self, he let the system automatically steer the body using data whenever he's away bc there doesn't seem to be an original consciousness for this particular character.
Spoiler

After reading everything, I now knew that this book was indeed the book where MC's 'real fate' happened, and it was ML's actions of turning back the time countless times that gave birth to the chance for MC to correct their destiny. Hence why there's no other consciousness in this book, because MC was indeed Yu Tang himself.

[collapse]

MC's little 'cards' a.k.a the original consciousness of the 'characters' the MC took over in each book were also all very adorable 🥺 I love their little sea of consciousness family! They all are so caring to each other and everyone adored each other it's so wholesome 🤧

The so-called protagonists are all pathetic but extremely cruel. A few were so pathetically egoist you can't help but want to knock their head. Preferably with a fridge. Repeatedly. You'd have to let go of your braincells accordingly and just enjoy the faceslapping btw. No need to think so hard about these losers. Because yes, these books were supposed to show the ridiculousness of their plots. Instead you should invest in the main plot of MC figuring out the conspiracies in their world and which sinister bstard made up this fcked up system. The main point is for the MC to exploit the loopholes to help the characters he took over (and other side characters too) to get back their supposed bright future that had been ruined by the fcked up plot and as*hole protagonists.

All in all, it's a fun read and not-too-heavy refreshing faceslappings. Each book were solved without too much dogblood drama and almost always picked up straight to the counterattack plot (because the MC had been in charge of these books for years, hence only the climax were left without too many grinding time). Mind you that while the first story was just brainless faceslapping, it would get more complicated later, especially the last book that required some brain cells to understand the whole interdimensional and time-traveling f*ckery 💀 Everything were connected and given plausible reasonings in the end. (Yes, even the reason why the first story was so brainless)

Good for passing time. The author had planned everything neatly since the very beginning, and you'd notice the little details hidden all over the place when you reread.

It was 4/5 for me bc the ending was a bit abrupt after being dragged in the last book for too long, and there's no extras to follow up 😭 But I'd probably reread again for the cute interactions between MC and the adorable denizens in his sea of consciousness 💕 <<less

If you think this is gonna be just your regular face slapping novel, oh boy you’d be wrong! The novel ends up being about a huge conspiracy that I’m still confused about after finishing😭

Maybe my brain is not smart enough but even the author had to apologise about how the novel ended up being confusing af!

Still a good read tho just be ready to use your braincells!

This rating has nothing to do with the translation quality since I read the MTL.

I'm not sure how Chinese companies work, but I don't think letting personnel outside their company to come and work for their projects is normal. That's my biggest issue with this novel. I couldn't get pass this confusion.

Spoiler

The 4th book protagonist is an actor. He's trying to open his own studio, but is currently under an agency. But it looked to me like his studio has a fully staffed company with C level management team? When the MC was a trainee, his manager tortured the MC for not working properly by electronic shocking device!? And no one tried to help or care!? Other issue which stunned me was, despite his fully staffed team, no one actually knew how to work properly without the MC?? When the MC left, his entire team crumbled down. Managers and staffs resigned. He needed to pay compensation fee, etc. And no one could find new job for him??? Not even himself??? How could he survive in the entertainment circle, or society actually, if he never form any sort of relationship that might help him at all so far despite being a top actor???

There were other various issues that I found strange, but it might be just me not giving the author enough the benefit of the doubts.

Dropped.

(If the ML is that caregiver staff from W&P or Darren, I might reconsider finishing it.)
