Qiao Kaiji is a rich second-generation individual who simply wishes to spend a year living at home after graduating. However, the entire family took an unexpected turn and cut off Qiao Kaiji’s credit card. In protest, he decides to run away from home.

Wrapped in the latest season’s LV windbreaker, Qiao Kaiji stands shivering in the cold wind, contemplating whether to buy a broken bowl and beg for food on the spot.

During a temporary break, an amateur guest on a romance variety show finds himself in a peculiar situation. The show’s producer (PD) grabs his wrist with tears in their eyes, kneels down, and pleads for him to join the show.

Qiao Kaiji: “Will you take care of my meals, my accommodations, and provide me with a salary?”

The PD nods vigorously, and Qiao Kaiji happily packs his suitcase and heads to the show.

In the preview before the broadcast, the audience frowns upon reading the character introduction, assuming that Qiao Kaiji must be too shameless. He initially claimed to be working from home and also mentioned seeking a wealthy partner.

Audience A: “Where did this pretty boy come from, looking for a rich husband? Does he think he can do whatever he wants just because he’s good-looking?”

Audience B: “His clothes look fake at first glance. He even has a suitcase with the same model as the one from the latest runway show that hasn’t been released yet. Is he s*upid?”

After the first episode airs:

Regarding his status as a rich second-generation individual and the fake goods scandal, no one would believe he’s an all-rounder who can excel at golf, tennis, flower arranging, wine tasting, tea art, calligraphy, etc. It’s all a facade!

The male guests on the variety show may seem glamorous, but beneath the surface, there’s a subtle undercurrent, and they’re quite cunning. What appears white may be black when scrutinized, and what seems dark may be even darker. They aren’t really serious about finding love.

Qiao Kaiji decides to focus on his health on the show, knowing that the show’s team will cover his expenses for food, clothing, housing, and transportation.

He gives up on his personal luxuries and enjoys watching dramas and movies with the actor Gong 1, who, despite his fame-chasing image, feels he’s found a kindred spirit.

Qiao Kaiji plays basketball and swims with athlete Gong 2, attends games, and supports him passionately. Gong 2, an avid basketball lover, believes he’s found a perfect life partner.

When he’s with Gong 3, a university professor, he listens attentively, never interrupting their discussions. Gong 3, who tends to be rigid and immersed in his own world, feels he’s met his future lover.

There are also Shou 1, Shou 2, and Shou 4, who all believe that Qiao Kaiji is their destined person. Gong 4, a CEO, is particularly determined, closely following Qiao Kaiji, and generously swiping his card with aspirations of becoming his golden husband.

At this point, the four members of the Qiao family stare in astonishment at Qiao Kaiji, who had threatened to find a rich husband on TV. His father promptly hands him a black card, his mother offers a cruise ship, his brother directly transfers several buildings for him to collect rent from, and his sister transfers shares so he can earn dividends.

The Qiao family wonders, “What kind of husband are you looking for? Can’t you do it on your own?”
