it does seem like he's getting infljenced by the original character and there are some points that make me think that the og character might even be him

I was really hoping that he'd somehow make up with his former mentor the sword Saint behind the scenes

But he goes somewhere else entirely and the MC has to take up one of his roles... I'm actually a little concerned now. It is my prediction that the sword Saint may have been possessed and ran away but there is absolutely no evidence of this FYI. I just think it's weird that he did something he didn't do at all in the og

I want to give this story 5 stars but while it started with and interesting premise I like it's taking an almost generic route because

it's harem vibes. I just checked and the harem tag has been added TT ugh. I felt it wird that all the characters that are helping him or have major plot points are women.

One of them is the fellow disciple of the sword saint who dislikes him, a fellow student of the school he went to who had a crush on him, a vampire girl who he blackmails to help him, the daughter of the blacksmith who made his sword (who seems to have figured out his other identity, the femlae bishop of this evil group... listing them out is making me realize that the atory is collecting harem tropes??? I really hope it doesn't turn into a full blown harem....

For those apprehensive as of where I'm reading there is no romance and he does not seem interested in it. The girl who formerly had a crush on him currently doesn't seem to have one. I'm a little concerned with what will happen as the story progresses because it really is collecting building blocks for a typical Korean harem story sighs

At the beginning it looked promising but as I continued to read it didn't get any better, just an average read. MC possesses a maniac, ruthless killer but except for repeated assertions as to how scary protagonist is, there is nothing else that would indicate as such. In fact MC is more akin to a protagonists of japanese novels where they act like pussies, tiptoeing around everyone, trying not to get on anyone's bad side, it's not really taken to the extreme but it just feels frustrating to me. So... more>> far fights don't really exist in this novel, and the one that I thought was looking promising was practically skipped. Side characters so far don't seem too impressive but not terrible either, just 'okay'. Worldbuilding so far doesn't exist. Plot moves slowly. <<less

Average for now. MC does not look too special to me right now. Also there is no harem now in tags... But I think I can smell it in this story. I'm not big fan of harem genre unless the characters are good. No good character building for now. So meeh.

If anything changes my mind I will report it here.

I have given novel a 3 star because 1. The story and content is good 2. There were many potential plot ideas to make this novel much more interesting and heartfelt but that's were the positive things about this novel end just what the other guy said this end up as a harem novel even though there's no harem tag and I know a harem tag is only used when the MC and leads are together and I don't mind reading a novel where there's many girls or guys around... more>> the MC IF the story has a reason for it or the story makes up for it by making them have character which the story does not do or has a reason for doing so, the characters are pretty anime cut outs (or cardboards), they look pretty on the surface but that's about it they just look pretty nothing more, nothing less <<less

Well... average read at best... like the story itself established as a man possesing maniac twisted villain fro the get go.... well we know he's a villain and we know he's a maniac and killed so many people... but why is that every single character everytime either a minor or major.. they got a chance of screen time... they just start saying how scary this dude is like... it's sooo repetitive...i mean yh once for every side e character is enough... but really every single time this same character yaps... more>> about how scary this dude is.. and all..

Basically no proper establishment of the side characters... like about the og protagonist of the novel... and why the so called story is distorted from original and all that stuff... and MC has all this super cool skills.. but I hoped they'll explain more about his swordsman ship like the path or pattern he follow.... all they saw is it looks like moonlight because of his aura... but more detailing would've been better.. <<less
