The entire time the MC was still trying to “act” as a lover who catered the ML perfectly. I mean he can’t be blamed since the ML really never made it clear since they never mentioned what their actual relationship was or rather ML never properly changed the status of the relationship even tho he was ready to take it seriously. Like... omg people really need to take notes. If you don’t tell the person, how would they know? An unstable relationship will always have the latter person overthink and undermine themselves.

So yea I was hung up about it hence why I was like “hold on, this is going way too well and weirdly” and they kept talking above love. Thus, I gradually understood that the ML was somewhat of a guy who took things for granted as he was always in the higher position like with his past partners. He’s too proud that’s what I can say even though he’s not bad of a lover.

I am completely SLOW to realise that the MC has no friends this entire time or I really forgot even if it was mentioned. Like I was glad ML had friends to help consult about his love life.

The extras were disappointing. I had no interest about ML’s son jumping on Liyi... the idiot who kept getting scammed at. Honestly if Lucky the dog had all the extras to himself I’ll gladly enjoy it better.

The novel wrapped up the CP’s relationship nicely yet left the rest kind of stagnant? I was looking forward to the MC finally showing more courage towards his family especially how he opened up to his sister slowly and I was expecting him to introduce the ML to her or how he will bravely confront his parents or just never. I wanted closure on the MC, I know it was shown where he was finally happy to ambiguously talk about relationships especially your ideal person vs the actual person you really date demonstrating how he was not stressed, conflicted nor afraid about himself anymore.

And it seems like the MC really wants ww3 with the ML when we know he hates the side characters more like Ouyang who manipulated MC’s love for him to sleep with a higher up to give himself connection. (Since gays can sleep with anyone right? Since he loves me so much.) Yet the MC was way too nice and have these kind of ppl the nice pass attitude. Another time, the MC was sexually harassed by another co-star cuz he wanted a 3some with the gold master too omg.

I know there’s a difference between romantic relations and social relations but I felt like MC really treated the ML badly compared to those in the showbiz.

Plus the time when a past co-star exposed him online yet he ran as fast as he could and never wanted the ML’s help at all. I know he was in a crisis about coming out and losing everything as in his family, career, reputation and maybe relationship with ML too.

I earlier mentioned how the pace of the story was fast but I also wanted to add that it feels like a lot of things are cut off. Like some characters were just introduced and used to progress the CP’s relationship and I never got further understand. For example, ML’s ex wife how the ML talked about how she’s actually not a bad person but the moment she met the MC she was crazily hostile and later the ML justified that she’s usually not like this. What?
