Stay quiet, you say?!! What exactly have I done wrong?

The first groom candidate tried to marry me to obtain the rank, despite having multiple lovers. I only exposed his relationships in a public place. Well, I did gather the lovers he deceived as proof, but the fact that they beat the sh*t out of him has nothing to do with me.

The next man, who possessed the rank of the Knight, with my help realized that he was romantically interested in other men and left happily while holding hands with his male lover. I only deserve to be praised for making him realize his true love.

The last groom candidate who was a civilian officer even tried to kill me after his illegal deal with a black market merchant was revealed. I managed to escape by a hair’s breadth, but if anything, I think that’s more of a feat because if things went on, flour’s price would shoot up and many people would starve to death during the winter.

Well, all of this…means that neither of those men were my fated person.

I have to say, I am thoroughly disappointed by the way this series progressed. We have three protagonists: A main female lead and two male leads to choose from. Both male leads obviously have a lot of background emotions and characters to read into, and there is some actual development in them. The female lead, on the other hand... Is just poorly written.

There is absolutely no change in her till the end of c48, which is where the current translations are halted right now. And to be honest, the writer... more>> messing up with the story element of this series isn't even the main reason why I gave this such a dismal rating. I mean yeah, it does get very annoying at times with regards to the repeated and cliche drama plots but...

The s*x. It is passionate, youthful, erot*c and everything good about smut. It is vigorously violent in a perfectly romantic manner and yet, the writer decides to limit it to far too few chapters. And poor plot writing means that they seem to be even more far apart.

This is not Mango approved.

A couple of chapters got good smut. Those are the best parts of this series. <<less

One of the first love stories that I've seen a female virg*n lead pretty much mol*sts woman hating guy after only meeting several times. The plot is not that great and tries to incorporate some political intrigue and a love triangle to add some complicated drama. It's kind of cute how the naïve the woman hating Duke is and how much of an S the FL is. The smut is written well, and the characters are amusing in their own ways as the FL is supposed to be super smart.... more>> Overall, it's a nice short enjoyable read, where the FL is the one that is on the attack most of the times. <<less

Now I will joke about Twilight and Fifty Shades being bad and having a Mary Sue protagonist, but this series honestly makes those works seem like Proust in comparison to this series. I want to think that this was done as a joke by the author, but I'm honestly not sure.

While yes, this is meant to be fap fodder and wish fulfillment, I've read my share of hentai and erotica. Being fap fodder doesn't mean that something has to be written very poorly. Literotica is full of stories by amateur... more>> authorsthat may be cheesy but still manage to titillate and tell a decent story at the same time. On the professional author side, Zane has written several work of erot*c fiction that sell like hotcakes because she knows how to write and entertain.

I think what honestly did this story in the most was its length. If this had stuck to a oneshot or maybe 10-12 chapters max, it would have done a much better job of telling this story since there's honestly not much to tell here. It's essentially two morons who are too damn s*upid and proud to sit down and actually communicate with each other, as they'd rather believe the worst of one another. There are some other slight side characters and stories, but they really only serve as shallow plot points to further the misunderstandings between the two leads. It's honestly pretty amazing that the M and FL took as long as they did to actually come together, given how ridiculous the misunderstandings were. Now I do love me some angst in my romance and erotica and is part of the reason I love those silly Harlequin mangas so much, as they're so over the top. This book just doesn't do it well.

This would all be forgivable if the s*x were decent, but it honestly isn't. It's pretty unerot*c to the point where some of the scenes are actually more offputting than enticing. This isn't a matter of me not liking the types of scenes, it's just that they're not well executed. I seem to remember one scene

describing Julia's fluids as running down her leg like a river, making it sound more like she was peeing on herself than being really turned on. I may be confusing this with another story, but I am pretty sure that this is in this book. After a while I just sort of got jaded.

The only reason I'd really recommend reading this is for the translator's running MST3K-esque commentary on the story. It's laugh out loud funny at times and at one point I actually scared my cat because I laughed so suddenly and so hard. I do honestly admit that I would like to see a manga parody of this series, as it's really ripe for someone to come through and lampoon it. <<less

Julia is really just a sorry case in my pov... Its ok when you have smexy times with the leads but when others do it it's naughty? Gimme a break. I guess its tooo realistic in that regard.. she's quite blind to situations she herself is in, but when others are put in the same situation and she's able to look objectively she can see right from wrong plainly. She's smart when its convenient for the plot and dumb also when it's convenient for the plot.

As said before she can easily look at someone and figure out everything about them. but she cant tell the difference between a rumor and the truth. Shown to be able to put clues together easily but blindly misses the truth when laid out on a golden platter in front of her.

This looks so interesting! Since there’s only 3 chapters translated so far, there’s just not enough for me to form a solid opinion, but I definitely want to read more.

The MC looks like she might end up being the dense kind, but she has an interesting talent that I really want to see explored.

She’s got powers of deduction, backed up by enough knowledge to make the skill useful. The situations with her ex-fiancées weren’t accidents that an oblivious protagonist stumbled into like I assumed; she actually deduced the circumstances. Really refreshing.

Hopefully my hunch is wrong and she keeps being a logic minded individual. It’d be really fun and new to see a mature protagonist develop a reverse harem. I’ll be really impressed if the author pulls it off. <<less

The main character is shown to be a strong, smart, and independent woman. She can make logical deductions using observations she makes. But... even though it is shown that she is able to guess a person's true character and figure out schemes, she easily believes rumors and has vasts amount of misunderstandings despite being proven otherwise. Many times she is conveniently 'blind' to revelations. It makes me wonder how a person can be so smart and so s*upid at the same time. I liked the MC for her strength, but most of the time, I was just frustrated by her.

The duke (ML) isn't quite as frustrating as the MC. In the story, the duke is shown to be a virg*n who creates rumors about himself since he doesn't like women. He first meets the MC on a secret mission, and as shown by the title of the story, ends up only being attracted to the MC.

Honestly, I kind of pity the ML. Although it is shown that he likes the MC, she has tons of misunderstandings that screw the relationship and drag the plot on.

The story is full of misunderstandings, and it gets rather repetitive. The main couple probably could've gotten together a lot earlier if the Duke had explained himself and if the MC had listened.

My review is subject to change as the story goes on, but as it is, I'm going to wait until the story is completely translated. <<less

Funny for all the wrong reasons. The plot and characterisation was a mess. The way things can progress in paragraph was hilarious, which was probably not the intended effect. MCs and MLs intelligence levels seemed to fluctuate wildly throughout the novel although it was mostly down there in the negatives most of the time. Prince James seems like a psycho.

Also smut was decent quality but it was very sparse. Which makes me question why, as the remaining majority of chapters was dedicated to each MC being s*upid and rejecting each... more>> other again and again. <<less

Despite having a somewhat promising premise, the story eventually went downhill as the chapters increases. The MC was written to be a intelligent, independent, strong woman but the author was not able to have a grip on these traits. The MC just frustrated the hell out of me with her immaturity and le*dness. Her mind and tone of voice (thinking and speaking highly of herself) does not match her action at all, especially with the way she handle her relationship with ML.

The ML, the duke, is a frustrating character as... more>> well. He is 10 years older than that h**ny girl but acting like a high-school virg*n.

I think the reason why I'm so frustrated with this one is because I expected too much from the MC and it failed me, lol. Gonna drop reading it.

If you're looking for a good story to invest your time, don't read this but if you'r just for the smut ride, you might like it. <<less

I love this novel! The FL is strong, smart, and very bold! She's also very pervy ? However, she's annoyingly dense when it comes to her relationship with the ML... I sometimes wanted to throw my phone out of the window or just punch her really hard!! But if you disgard this detail, it's a pretty good read!

The ML is a very respected Duke, he hates women and is disgusted by them, but somehow he took interest in Julia the FL since she wasn't the typical lady you find everywhere,... more>> and had 0 interest in him. Which was very weird to him.

I can't wait for the next chapters!! I wonder how their relationship will develop.

Very interesting FL. Also seems to be very smutty. Definitely a plus. But it just doesn't feel right. The first smut scene is just too jarring. The timing is odd, the actions don't really seem to fit the FL's character, and the whole thing is just jarring. Smutty though. Perhaps I'm just the wrong audience. I'm giving it a low score because I don't like it but I can't deny the possibility that I'm just not the target audience.

Dominant-in-bed MC is a major plus, my kink seems to be masculine men being made a mess of. (º﹃º) (Since, typically, it's always the weak noble lady who gets wrecked by the arrogant, forceful """gentleman""".)

Other than that, personality wise, MC is apparently smart (like can localise you from your bone structure smart <-- seemingly improbable?!), but still incredibly dense and s*upid when it comes to her own relationships and the person she likes...

The fact that she completely ignores ML's very earnest, repeated proclamations of love and chooses to give herself heartbreak by lying about her feelings and declaring not to see each other again is incomprehensible. I think this novel is good and has a lot of hot scenes.

The MC is a very teasing character especially towards the ML.

I see many hate the MC but I enjoyed the teasing between the characters.

I dont really like the naive women that are useless and wait for the man to do everything.

It's a story where the woman is more dominant and if you dont like that dont bother reading bcuz this MC is not s*upid neither adorable.... she's wicked & badass.

Recommend? HELL NO!!!

You won't like the MC at all, I swear. Don't waste your time.

I actually feel bad for Zuben coz she has to finish this sh*t as the translator, while I as a reader can and did easily drop this when I can't take the mc's s*upidity anymore. She could've used that time and effort for a better novel, but oh well, there were some who can tolerate the nonsense, good for them.

Very promising start, but can't keep up. MC and MLs are acting dumb, and MLs are yanderes that harass MCs "because they are madly in love". It seems to be popular with some female (?) readers, but not my cup of tea.

The main character of this novel is such a strong woman. In the most recent chapter I read, she came out on top in a confrontation with the male lead, and I was just so impressed with the way she handled him.

If you want a strong and smart female character who can stand up for herself, you should really read this~ Plus it doesn't hurt that the smut is steamy and some scenes are even quite rare in light novels nowadays~

The amount of times they misunderstand each other or should I be more specific and say Julia being extremely suspicious and believing the rumors rather the man himself and getting angry and doing s*upid sh*t and making the Duke angry....... HA!! I can't take it anymore! Idk know how she expects him to react if she keeps misunderstanding him and creates misunderstandings to make him feel like shit.

Bruh. What the f happened to the FML after meeting the ml. She turned s*upid. They go all s*xual and then she always misunderstands him. I mean what the hell is the use of her being so clever if she acts s*upid. But anyway despite it just stabbing my head a few times I finished it. Mostly due to the translator notes. Thank you zuben.

The story started off with a FL who fails at love, but has the brains to read people. Unfortunately, the story ended with a FL who has found love but lost her brain...

The novel is pretty smutty so I don't understand why the drama is so childish, when clearly everything could've been solved with ONE conversation. *Sigh* I had such fun reading the smut but the plot leaves me with a bad aftertaste ┐ (´д`) ┌

The story would've been soooo much better if the FL had became an amateur-detective... more>> who solves crimes with the ML, and with lot of smut ✿ <<less
