My criteria is this:

Does 90% of the main couples interactions make me want to take my insulin medication, if yes it's on the list.

Romance may not be the focus of the main plot and characters background may have angst.

The main couple may not even meet that often.

But the relationships certainly don't falter inmy opinion.
