Okay, this was not 81 chapters. There are 244 chapters, please be aware!! I had a darn near heart attack when I was jumpscared by the amount of chapters it had (not really because I'm currently reading 3000+ chapter books but you get my point). It is an excellent read and the pacing is beyond what I had expected (seriously, the pacing of the story is a 9.5/10). The characters, my goodness, were easy to get attached to. I loved the MC because he has flaws unlike some characters who are painted as angels/saints/etc. in other stories! The ML is also a character I love because he's different than the "you looked good, I fell in... more>> love, now we gotta do the hoo-ha and get on with it, you know?" He isn't just in to "eat tofu", as they say, he's interested in the MC and knows where to draw the line. Yes, yes; some characters don't actually do that! Overall, characters are at least a 9.8/10 (again, I don't really hand out 10/10's until I've read a substantial amount of novels and can guess from that :3). Again, I said the pacing was good, so the plot is also a 9.5/10. Despite it being 244 chapters (and extras?), I rarely got bored or skipped (which is a thing I do a lot these days 'cause things get really cliché once in a while), and I was so invested 24/7 that I just couldn't tear my eyes away from my phone! 

Sometimes the hype is too much for some novels, but for this one I believe it lives up to its expectations! I would've been better off, though, with lower expectations so I would've been more satisfied, but that's what people do to you! Including me...

This story was unique (compared to the "I bumped into you, fell in love, and now it's a bloody obsession) and I quite liked both the plot (8.5/10) and the characters (8.5/10; probs doesn't look good to you, but I'm just someone who rarely gives out 10/10's). The pacing was alright compared to quite a couple of novels I've read, but it's better than most that usually go from 0 to 100 in just a couple chapters, which cause the rest of the series to become boring. ... more>>

I'm being a little harsh with the ratings because I was three-ish years younger than I am now when I read this, so I'm going off based on what I remember :3c

I would re-read it to get a more "updated" view on it, but mannnn that's 203 chapters, and I've already got too many books on my list. I can't afford to re-read stuff in general because it is growing on the daily!! :'( 

I seriously have to stop looking for things to read when I've already got 800+ books on my list!!

ALSO!!! Also--please do not read this if you are younger than 15 -- and this goes for all genders -- because see that tag up there? "Smut", a nuh-uh for y'all. Not like you would listen to a stranger, but you can put this out for later. There are plenty of PG-ish (excluding curse words) novels that you can read (I've too many to count, actually :)). I'm assuming that most kids younger than 13 wouldn't be reading this, anyway, but remember: it is nothing to brag about!! I mean, bragging about reading this at a very young age :P <<less
