The MC is not a good person. You know the supposed Mc's from those novels where the books with titles like "reincarnated as an ntr bastard"? Well our MC kind of reads like the former MC who gets ntr'ed in those novels. You know the kind, the one who basically has only themselves to blame after acting like a spineless jackass. Put simply, he's unlikeable and gets upset over change.

But the way it's done makes me think this parallel is on purpose. This doesn't read like You're supposed to like... more>> him. And that is what is retaining my interest; I think the author is planning to do something with or about him and I want to know what, despite the turn-off. We will see what happens. <<less
