In the post-apocalyptic world, Si Huaixi was bored with killing zombies, so he picked up a novel to read.

The title of the novel is ‘Interstellar Heartthrob.’ Si Huaixi thought it was a science fiction novel set in a peaceful era. But he had no idea it was about a strange ABO world. The men in it would actually have children?!

The protagonist was a male Omega who could give birth!!!

What shattered his world view even more was the fact that the protagonist managed to dominate the interstellar entertainment industry by seducing various rich and powerful alphas.

Si Huaixi wanted to throw the book away after reading it, and then he did!

Unexpectedly, he transmigrated into the novel and became the gloomy 18th-line ‘Beta’ starlet, who had offended the protagonist by stealing his limelight with a stunning photo.

How can the cannon fodder who offends the protagonist have a good life?

It wasn’t long before the original owner was drugged and sent to the bed of an investor who enjoyed making short videos. The next day, the news of his scandal was all over the internet, and the original owner jumped off a building in shame. Si Huaixi did not escape the drugging plot after crossing. But, he unexpectedly spent the night with a handsome male Alpha.

When he woke up the next day, Si Huaixi was surprised to find that the Alpha who spent the night with him was Pei Zhaozhou, the villain in the book!!! However, the villainous Pei Zhaozhou did not get angry. Instead, he pinched his eyebrows, smoked a cigarette, and let Si Huaixi go.

Si Huaixi thought everything was over, but Pei Zhaozhou suddenly showed up one day with a medical report, saying in a slightly restrained tone, “I’m pregnant, and my pheromones are in chaos. I need the father of the child to accompany and comfort me.”

The story start so good, the pace was right, the villain is not two dimensional or annoying, he's actually have good reasoning and potrayed approriately, the development of the MC and ML are also doesnt feel awkward or give bad vibe.

But halfway through, the author start inroduce so many characters and new plots at once. The previously established pace became absolutely chaotic, right now im trying so hard to finish this sh*t lol. While the story still engage with the main plot, too many side stories explain in between that... more>> I even forgot what leads to such plot reveal. Anyway, the ML is the alpha bottom which is nice break form a niche abo story, while the MC is an outlier with no secondary gender for now. Will update later. <<less

Thanks for the translation though I'm sorry I can't give this a high rating I do appreciate the effort. It takes kind translators to translate unique stories to be seen some of them stories just don't hit with the masses, It's just difference of opinion.

I would say this was a 5/10 for me, I was very excited about a story with an alpha bottom and a beta top. I would say one of its good selling points of the novel is the alpha the bottom wasn't depicted as weak And... more>> I generally liked the dynamics between the two of them and the chemistry.

But the amount of brain holes plot holes the unnecessary misunderstandings and lies kept hidden that were drawn out to the absolute f*cking last chapter, even the extras weren't enough to satisfy me of supposedly happy ending. When so much time was f*cking wasted and how some plot twists were carried out by the character abruptly losing all their brain cells temporarily. And the number of characters wasted to miss the most dramatic scenes and skipping to the last moment made it incredibly boring.

it's just sad this is a waste of potential it was such a good plot outline but poorly executed the beginning really gets you hooked and then it goes downhill I wish there was another story like this but done better. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this to read its waste of time Unless you like to be angered to death, I guess that's entertaining in its own way 🤷‍♂️. <<less

I had saved the alternate version of this novel for reading later, but I saw this one and I just couldn't stay off of it!

The story is great, the characters as well, and I love the romance. Si Huaixi is a very great character, the perfect mix of a yandere and a wolfdog, and I really love his character. Specially during the Angst Years...

Anyways, greatly recommend!

This novel is garbage.

I'm sorry, there is nothing redeeming about it.
Spoiler

The MC is not a shou at all, if anything he is only slightly shorter then the ML (or is he? 1.9 meters and still growing. I don't think besides a couple of references to the MC looking up at ML we ever know his exact height.), which I bring up because the author loves to make comparisons to the MC being similar to "a child" or "young boy" instead of a man.

As other readers mentioned, the ML is beyond aggravating in not telling the MC about his pregnancy. It doesn't make any sense to keep it from him, even IF you think he would not want you to continue it. That's a assumption, not facts. Especially considering the MC's family situation.

The antagonist shou is an ahole. He should not have gotten as much screen time as he did, especially considering all the awful things he has done to alphas, betas, etc. He does not deserve the alpha who falls for him, and I was extremely p-ssed off the author spent essentially 3 chapters going from having the antagonist shou fail at the tv shoot, then talk to his brother about assassination of the ML, and THEN, STILL! talk to and get a crush on this random female alpha. Reading this part honestly made me confused about what the author was trying to accomplish. Did the author want to show a bis*xual antagonist? If that's the case, fine. But it felt like queer baiting throughout the rest of the novel.

The MC wakes up at the beginning and after having s-x with the ML, gets the memories of the original MC. The plot only mentions this, and the MC vowing to find the original MC's parents, in the beginning. By chapter 20 this is nowhere in sight.

The MC is physic and used that power in the beginning plenty to fight zombies, but when he gets to the world in the book he mainly tends to use it on weird, random, or in certain cases, disturbing things. One example is the ML.

He used his powers during the first time they had s-x to "fill a gap" the ML had, but didn't again until the ML tricked him, and even then the ML suspected the MC of being a spy. Despite this, the ML still somehow decided to purpose marriage to the MC. The MC's response to this was to, reasonably, make the ML's memories blurry. 🤯 After some kind of BS additional argument, they have s-x again and that's it...?

The author then moves on with the story to refocus on the entertainment industry storyline.

The above example is just one instance of like others have said, plotholes. The issue for me is these are not just plotholes, they are disjointed storylines mashed together into a story parading as a romantic romance of two different people. The author did exactly what Zaimokuza from Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, had alot of ideas that just, don't work.

If you want your story to be about the entertainment industry, okay.

If you want your story to be about cooking, and revolutionizing the health of people in the future, okay.

If you want your story to be about Mechas and fighting in outer space, defending people on different planets? Okay.

If you want your story to be about a orphan finding lost family, okay.

If you want your story to be about face slapping antagonist, okay.

If you want your story to be about lying and deception between two lovers for YEARS, okay.

If you want your story to be about royal family drama, okay.

You see how different and disjointed all the above is? Imagine reading this, and most happens in the span of only 30 chapters. This novel only has 87, not including the extras. The author writes action scenes decently, this story would have been much better without including ANY entertainment industry crap.

Last two issues with the novel-

  1. Over explaining EVERYTHING. From appearances to things to do with third party talks, it got so out of hand I would skip entire PARAGRAPHS of text to read what the actual conversation was, then re-read the 'flowery' writing. The problem with being a author is wanting to explain what a character is thinking or feeling, but the authors writing came across more as extra padding for word count.
  2. The MC, and partly ML. The MC is apparently a cool, collected, but somehow not gloomy guy. He is tough, clever, and also caring. This by itself is not a awful thing. It's sweet to see the MC wanted to take on the final wish of the original owner. It was also sweet he gave additional strength to both the woman who was going to commit su*cide, and the woman who would have most likely died when giving birth. The part that starts to irk me is his treatment of the ML. I do not like his almost r-pe of the ML, and leaving after a short conversation to get medicine without telling the ML. This was a early indicator of who the MC is, someone who is bad at communication and does not care. He literally wanted to ERASE, then BLUR the memories of the ML, with who knows what potential side effects. Another issue is the MC making money. He is amazing at playing this newly released Mecha game, and somehow was able to make hundreds, if not thousands of dollars very quickly by beating enemies and selling the loot. The author not only did not write any of this, (which is often a favorite part if mine in any story), but said it in a throw away line.
  3. ML- The ML is very unfortunate to me. Besides having a convoluted and terrible backstory, he was forced against his will to have s-x with the ML. After, he somehow fell in instant love, and wanted to support and nurture the MC. Then he finds out he is pregnant. After it's almost like he became the shou of any other novel. He loves and thinks about the MC all the time, but for some reason cannot just say that. Instead he does one of the only ML things and wants to enter a contract, Pretty Woman style, where he and the MC will be together for 9 months. The ML is also sometimes in deep pain after s-x, but doesn't want to appear weak, so he doesn't tell the MC how bad the pain is. Yet, in a paradoxical fashion, is upset with the MC for, with no other way to describe it, doing him wrong. Never mind the fact the author does not mention if the MC had a preference before hand, or any experience.

TLDR; The MC is the ML. The ML WAS a alpha, but later was seriously injured in a assassination attempt and most likely differentiated into a beta, which in this story can also get pregnant like omegas. The story tries to follow to many genres, leading to a nonsensical story, and storyline. The romance is almost disgusting, with only tiny moments of sweetness overpowered by the looming pregnancy of the ML, and people wanting to kill the ML. The ending is rushed.

My final thought on this novel is disappointment. This would have been better as a fast transmigration story, especially with the length of it. The idea behind a ML getting pregnant instead is groundbreaking, but the author never had the two switch, causing the ML to always be the 'pitiful bottom'.

I wish good luck to anyone who can stomach this story.😑

This story is really great, both the characters have wholesome chemistry albeit a bit abrupt. Especially the MC, I thought he was just a puppy boyfriend turns out he's a yandere.

But the character I liked the most was Bai haiyu - the org!shou of the novel. He's a real black Lotus, manipulative, ruthless and pitiful. All the gongs are hateful ... more>>
Spoiler

They either r*ped him or domestically abused him. But he still had to put up with his white lotus persona because of his family. The family - is freaking evil. Its no wonder that the org!shou grew up so twisted

he actually did get a loving alpha for himself (female alpha) she was caring albeit a bit s*upid and geniunely loved him. Just when I thought the couple could have a happy life together, the lady was killed while the org!shou went into lifetime imprisonment. Why ? Because they killed the abusive gong. They left their baby behind though. I think the person in the last chapter is that baby. I hope the author continues the novel featuring the child reuniting with his father or just write a HE fanfic about this couple

Reading this is quite frustrating. At first, I find the story very interesting however, things get frustrating as we go on.

Spoiler

For example, I got frustrated with Pei Zhaozhou for not telling that he is pregnant. What happened came from misunderstanding that led to more misunderstanding.

Another irritating part is the story of the OG protagonist Bai. It would have been great if he had a redeeming moment with Ying Yao. Since the beginning of the story, OG Bai had already done a lot of bad things so I was hoping for retribution. So when they introduced Ying Yao who could be his possible lover, I got apprehensive. I knew this would not end well.

Another sad frustrating part is when the MC told ML not to drive the mecha but he still did. Obviously bad thing happened so he got into coma, gave birth without MC, and had amnesia.

Worst for me is the royal family. Thankfully, all of them died and had final retribution. It was really maddening how the eldest brother Edward be so gary sue and try to always save his 2nd brother Kyle who is so inexplicably evil. There was no redeeming quality for all of them. Their relationship is so messed up.

[collapse]

Basically, I like the premise of the story. I think the problem lies with the way the author told the story. The story telling has to be done well in order to appreciate this more. <<less

The ending of the story is very rushed so I have to rate the story low. The MC meets someone similar to the ML shou and he also has a child with blue eyes like him and also has spiritual powers. The child is also named what he called his kid and happens to be three like the amount of years the ML shou was supposedly dead and his father has been in a coma for three years and this isn't clicking with him? Honestly it's just a trope that... more>> didn't need to be added into the novel and the rushed ending where the MC went from getting weak when using his spiritual energy to somehow being able to use it seemingly without limit just ruined the story for me. Also a plot hole that was never solved, Irene never met her brother whose been looking for her and they never show them meeting or talk about it, <<less

5/5 because it's a really enjoyable book.

3/5 overall.

But I will only point out some of the flaws. Don't only judge based on the comments of mine and others read it on your own and evaluate it yourself.

  • Lack of depht to the plot
  • Lack of backstories
  • lack of characterization
  • Plot holes
  • Rushed
From the first chapter to chapter 55 I would say the plot itself was fast paced, I know the author intention was to make this story short. Unfortunately, with a rich base plot the authour could've made about 150 or 200 to make this... more>> finished perfectly

But the author made a lot of clips to clips of situation and the interaction between the og! Protagonist and og! MLs that weren't resolved right. And because it was very half done it create lots of plot holes

And also the fate between og!protagonist and the female alpha

Spoiler

I was so mad that this couple wasn't built with good foundation, the decision was so rushed and this couple could be the redemption of the og!protag, he fell in love with her before her death on being tortured (not by the og!protag) and pregnant with her child

[collapse]

The author makes a lot mistakes with adding plot to plot and it left unfinished. There's no dept in any introduction and left the other characters astray

Onwards chapter 56 to the end, the author really abandoned the main story and it's like a whole different story focusing only about MC's og soul family 'meeting'

Now with the pros :

If you're looking for a short story with spesific cuteness of MC and ML this is your tea. There are no bad interaction between MC and ML they're both so in love with each other it makes you giggle so hard.

I rate it 5/5 because it's enjoyable, it focused solely on main couple and it did not make you nervous or bored with their interaction. Even when the ML

The writing itself is OK but that mess of a story...

It started rather nice. MC transmigrated from the apocalypse into a book of the peaceful era. He became a small star, hat superior looks, feel in love with a big tigh and still had his psychic powers from the apocalypse. The whole story went the entertainment route. MC showed some special traits like his ability to cook and mecha driving. I was basically waiting for all that foreshadowing to make it into the storyline. But then...

The writer changed the whole... more>> f*cking story and jumbled it up. From entertainment story to military to revange "Punisher" story. While it might sound interesting, it became a mess.

The story includes all the most annoying doogblood dramas.

  • ML does not tell MC about his pregnancy. He avoids an lies to no end. This drags on to chapter 56!
  • ML " dies". ML had an accident, almost died and became comatose for 4 years. Of course MC thinks him dead. ML is literally out of the picture for most of the following novel.
  • MC goes on a rampage like a mix of Punisher and Superman. Unbeatable by everything and taking over the world. Oh and of course he is soooooooo sad during those years.
  • Amnesia.... yes, of course ML has to have amnesia after waking up.
  • False Identity... why should they be able to meet each other easily. Jeah they assume other Identities and masks and do not realize it while living under the same roof.
This novel really went the most annoying way possible. Also, the writer mixed up the loose ends in a way that makes no sense. There are a lot of logic holes through the whole storyline. The character reasoning and behavior is really immature. Lots of ooc. A lot of puzzling behavior where I wondered when I missed a critical plot change... there was none.

One thing I really dislike is that the writer forgot about their own settings. Some " good" parts were never written but skipped. Also the set up personalities of MC and ML were not consistent.

All in all, I would not read this a second time. You might be happy with this novel, if you are OK with the dogblood. <<less

Ok, I am on a roll these days. My efforts are paying off, guys. I am finding more novels with beefy shous (hehe, I am so happy)

Currently reading chap 6.

November'22: Finished it.

... more>> About the MC: seme, he was cool, beautiful, and loyal. And the character had so much potenial but unfortunately, author-nim wasn't able to explore it.

About the ML: same with the uke. I liked the uke and would have loved to know more about the character but no, the authornim had other plans.

Storyline: The worst thing about a story is when you can't remember much about it and that's how I can describe this story.

Overall Rating:

Will I read it again: No, I mean I don't want to be too harsh cause I did mtl it and it does effect the overall reading experience. However, the storyline itself has too much random stuff going on and at times, I was like c'mon can't we enjoy some fluff without it getting ruined with random sub-arcs going on. Plus, there were so many things that the author-nim didn't explain and it was the randomest sh*t too.

The biggest problem with it was: shounen ai. Yes, its not yaoi. Who put it in the tags (crying) ? I don't hate shounen ai but I don't wanna be misled. <<less

I quite like the premise and the relationship between the two characters are developed well. Unfortunately, towards the middle it felt more like I was reading a summary of the plot rather than the story itself because the writing became extremely rushed. I would still read it for the enjoyment of the non-traditional ABO but sometimes I had to spend more time reading certain sections than I should have because it was confusing.

It's a nice novel if you want to cry. The novel has scheming, war, life and death situations, politics, separation, etc. It's just packed full of things I hate. I thought this is gonna be a fluffy and sweet novel but it's actually a bittersweet one. This is supposed to be an entertainment novel but look what we got, battle to the throne settings.

It's such a scam how the description insinuate that this is an entertainment novel when it's actually not. I was so surprised by the sudden change of... more>> settings that I still haven't move on. I just wished they sticked to the entertainment industry as the main. I also feel that the misunderstandings and the 3 year coma (along with the memory loss) is unnecessary.

The novel is really tragic, I cried a lots. And that's why I added a +1 to my original 3 ratings. That's it for me, no spoilers, just describing what I went through.

P.S. When I saw the names and the settings, I felt it was familiar but never thought it's actually because of the other alternate story where it's Pei who crossed over naman. I've read the other story first but my short memory can't, so yeah. <<less

Great potential lost. I give 3 stars mainly for the overall plot/ storyline and the quality of translation.

Throughout I was like this is a good story, but I cannot seem to get myself to like it because it just seems so messy. First of all, the premise was excellent, and the unlike the story description, the story dives into more than a funky pairing romance. I loved how they flipped it around their Pei Zhaozhuo got pregnant instead. The interstellar setting really did make it better than this being in... more>> a real world setting somehow, like it just fits the whole fantasy theme more.

There was so much that could have been done with this story. If time was taken to properly develop it, it could have been turned into a riveting and entertaining 5 arch story with a few hundred chapters. Like the entertainment industry bit, like why just gloss over that when Si Huaixi was given good acting skills? He could have been given bad acting skills to make it seem like he is unsuitable for that work to make it seem like that whole plot point was insignificant. However, the point of being famous was to find the real family.

The revenge arch was so disappointing and rushed. The royal family characters were all so interesting with each having their own background stories, but everything was revealed too fast and too soon, making it more of an info dump about why each character was there. Like it could have been dark and gloomy, but mysterious and riveting. The revenge could have been done with solving a mystery case vibes but no superpowers are just going to speed everything up. The reuniting bit. It was going angst of missing each other route, which could have been stretched out to make for a more dramatic meeting, but they just met like that at their old apartment and nothing happened.

Also, the superpower thing, they could have given him a limitation to what it could do. But no, it just had to be capable of doing everything. Which was ironic because he says oh no my power cannot do everything at the start. And what was with letting little soybean take over the throne so fast. Like why not change the government into a structured government system without royalty, appoint a president, establish yourself as a consultant elder, and then go travelling with the family. My poor soybean.

Also the side characters with so much potential, like Yi Chengze and his sister Irin, or Bai Huaiyu and Ying Yao, the author just killed them off. I was rooting for Bai Huaiyu and Ying Yao so much because the book's protagonist never has a good ending almost ever, and this time there was potential because they were all victims of the evil and Bai Huaiyu had felt something in pure Ying Yao's love for him.

Overall, great story, bad development. Love the author for thinking of this storyline and hopefully, there is a remake/edited version of this story in the future. All authors out there, pls invest into world building.

While I wallow in my sorrow about how I couldn't give 5 stars because of my great expectations, I shall bid farewell in the meantime, give my review a like if you wish. <<less

Dropped at ch 76. It started well - when the author was concentrating on ML and MC's relationship, that was decent. But at this point the plot has become rushed and shallow.
Spoiler

MC is so op that he is literally threatening the whole kingdom and for some reason the common people support him? With no foreshadowing that he had so much power, just that he is from an apocalyptic world? Plot leading to it was forced and illogical, the situation is illogical and it has been like 15 chapters since we had read anything ab the ML.

Since MC barely had any works, he only managed to shot a movie (or series, I don't know) halfway, because then the plot went sideways into an angst-ridden action, sprinkled with drama (a lot of it).

To be honest, instead of the main CP, I feel more interested on the side CP; the original protagonist shou and the silly, loyal husky, female alpha. I would love a spin-off or something featuring this CP, or maybe their child.

Overall, I'd give 3.5/5. The premise is nice, but the plot is a lot to digest; not because it's heavy, but because there's really a lot of things going on.

If you like OP MC or non-traditional ABO, you can give this a shot. Though, it's not a masterpiece, it's not that bad. <<less

Honestly this novel is like a 3.4 and what really brought down this novel for me was how rushed it felt, some characters and I just couldn't really enjoyed the love between the our MC and ML. It is a nice read if you are bored

Chapter 33.

I actually ship Bai HuaiYu with Ying Yao. 🤧 Guess where MC inherited his control freak, obsessive-compulsive disorder, possessive and will get mad when someone touches his belongings 🤷🏻‍♀️

Am I the only one who likes the scene where MC took revenge?
