It’s said that within Mu Jin’s life, he only loves wine.

Later on, it was discovered that he loves Qiong Qi the most.

Even though Qiong Qi is brutal, destructive, the most feared existence in the world,

Mu Jin still drinks wine, his face flushed, thinking about Qiong Qi.

Wearing a baby face, his cat-like pupils were stubbornly unyielding.

Later, when Qiong Qi was trapped in thousands of small worlds, everyone said he would surely perish.

Mu Jin, however, didn’t say a word, quietly following. In countless worlds, he devoted himself to that person without hesitation. In countless worlds, that person possessed him like a maniac.

(Mu Jin’s perspective on his love story)

Mu Jin: Big doggie, give me your hand~

Qiong Qi: Scram!

(Mu Jin’s actual love story)

Mu Jin: Big doggie, give me your hand~

Qiong Qi: Woof! (pounces)

Qiong Qi: Mu Jin, I can be your mastiff, but you must always belong to me, only to me.

Cute and paranoid drama queen receiver vs. Possessive, insane dog-like aggressor 1v1, both first love and unrequited love, a variety of sweet petting styles The aggressor has always liked the receiver, the small world aggressor lost his memory but still attracted to the receiver.

The receiver is a drama queen with a black sesame filling, paranoid and a little silly for the aggressor; both are madly possessive of each other, a perfect match.

Disclaimers: No ab*se of weak characters or brainless sweetening.

Fully fictional with extensive adaptations based on related mythology; it’s advisable for the cautious and not for those too deeply invested in factual accuracy.

This work is the author’s practice in portraying relationships, with the narrative focusing on emotions throughout. Not suitable for incompatibility between partners.

For writing guidance, if not liked, refrain from criticism and simply opt-out.

Let’s respect each other, thank you.

It's quite good start. As for those complaining about Arc 2, read the tags bro. It's LITERALLY written there "yandere" "obsessive, " moreover, read the title. Of course you could argue that "It's too much" but I think it's still within the scope as, you know, both are not "normal" in mind. They're both kinda crazy and extreme, so that's a normal development. Andddd, he's willing inside okay (there's a hint of that).

Anyway, after a few arcs, I just got bored and there's that repetitively feeling.

It's not bad, but there is one thing in the 2nd arc that's very distracting for me: MC transmigrates into the body of the female lead's "autistic" younger brother. But he's not autistic, his symptoms and backstory point more towards a severe PTSD. I'm not sure if it's a mistranslation or a problem in the original work, but it's really annoying. It's not a great depiction of a psychological issue either way, but by calling it autism it becomes astonishingly inaccurate. There are also some implications that being autistic somehow... more>> subtracts from your value as a person. I'm just not a fan of it as a whole.

It's a perfectly enjoyable novel, but the characters can be borderline yandere sometimes. It's understandable given their circumstances, but it's still not the pinnacle of a healthy romance, so read at your own discretion. <<less

one thing that really bothers me about this novel is how they discuss autism in the second arc. The MC is placed in the body of a young master who is autistic, and its repeatedly referred to as a ‘disease’, and supposedly, something that can be ‘cured’ (which is the route that the MC decides to take, pretending to gradually ‘recover’ from his autism).

aside from that the ML essentially GROOMED the MC. The ML also kissed the MC while acknowledging the mc’s response likely didn’t mean romantic acceptance.

the MC is... more>> 19, and therefore an adult, but throughout the whooole arc the author makes a point of how innocent, naive, and CHILDLIKE the MC is. Don’t forget the ML is 30!! <<less

This was so long! OmO! There were quite a few arcs I liked but it's kind of mixed between some that were less interesting so by the end of the novel it just gets kind of tiring.
Spoiler

Especially when they got forced into that last fake game world by the villain and the MC temporarily lost his memories.

[collapse]

My favorite arc was probably the second arc in which the MC was sort of autistic, it was a very heartwarming and cute arc.

World 1: Ruthless Emperor (Dominant) vs. Sly National Teacher (Submissive) (Age Gap) In this world the ML was a prince that was considered unlucky and was unloved by his father but later became Emperor. The MC used his cultivation knowledge to influence the then National Teacher in assisting him. He pretended to be the National Teacher's student but was actually his master. Kind of triggering for the ab*se the ML suffered at the start. There is a little description of his mother whipping him. Also
Spoiler

His mother placed poisonous Gu in him, his siblings, and his father. Most of his siblings died because of this and his father's health was also damaged.

[collapse]

World 2: Ruthless boss aggressor vs. Tsundere shut-in young master receiver (elite family) FAVORITE!! The female protagonist is the MCs older sister in this one and she's very caring of him. The ML was s more of a missionary/part of the underworld but he's originally part of a rich family which he becomes the head of later in the arc. The MC meets him in an alleyway where he is 'saved' by the ML. Then they return to the MCs home where the ML acts as a bodyguard and the MC slowly recovers from his autistic tendencies as they fall in love. The MC uses hacking skills and computer skills in this arc.

World 3: Aloof, solitary scholar aggressor vs. School bully little wolf-dog receiver. I can't remember this one much. But the MC wakes up in a toilet at school lol. He's a bully with some underlings. The ML is an illegitimate child who's father only shows up because he wants his organs. His blood related brother is a jealous homophobe and the protagonist in this arc but the female protagonist ends up not being together with him and instead becomes a full on supporting fujoshi. The MC in this arc is an orphan who lives alone and who is supported by his aunt.

World 4: Rough star thief leader aggressor vs. War God Empire prince receiver (double A). Loved this one! The MC pretends to lose his memory after waking up on the pirate starship because the ML is the head of the star pirates. It's very amusing to see him pretend to have no memory and just go along with the MLs schemes to take him back to his place despite being positioned in enemy camps. The Zerg don't play such a big role in this one. And the protagonists aren't their enemies.

World 5: Scheming regent aggressor vs. Loyal hidden guard receiver. Because of being suppressed the ML no longer falls in love with the MC at first sight so it starts taking longer for them to get together from here on out. But the ML will still have a naturally good feeling for the MC. The love at first sight thing is back on in the arcs near the end. The ML realizes how much work the emperor has so after raising the kid he and the MC leaves the young Emperor who has reached adulthood on his own lol.

(The MC gets injured to protect the ML from a scheming brother in either this arc or he first one. But he'll be okay, it just really triggers the obsessiveness of the ML lol)

World 6: Violent useless aggressor vs. Spoiled cat-like receiver (alternate world campus).

World 7: Domineering pe*verted jade spirit aggressor vs. Ascetic germophobic CEO receiver.

World 8: Brutal orc marshal aggressor vs. White-cut black pitiful plant-based imperial prince receiver (interstellar). Favorite!

World 9: Darkened loyal aggressor vs. Brutal demon king receiver (aggressor’s rebirth). The MC is a ghost? But later he grows stronger so he has a body. The ML is a reborn person who was ab*sed and who's parents were mu*dered and he was raised by the mu*derers who was paid by his parent's friend. The friend stole a treasure from them to get luck for himself and became rich. It's one of those ghost cultivator like arcs. (This might be the summary for arc 7 I can't remember which is which).

World 10: Scheming slacker senior brother aggressor vs. Righteous junior brother receiver. Cultivation world. The senior brother ML is a white tiger! It's so damn cute!! Love it and another favorite arc! The MC is a poor kid saved by the ML. He then goes up the mountain to become a cultivator and pay back his benefactor ML. The MC has single wood cultivation roots in this one.

World 11: Tragic CEO aggressor vs. Paranoid bloodline prince receiver

This is a vampire one. The ML was a fake heir to a rich family who was sacrificed to the MCs vampire clan for benefits. The MC is the most powerful vampire, the protagonist in this one is a half human half vampire who becomes friends with them. The ML remains human but forms a contract with the MC which means they at least have a few hundred years together.

World 12: Post-apocalyptic world: Gentlemanly scum aggressor vs. Human weapon receiver. By human weapon the author means that the MC was actually experimented on before the apocalypse. He is a military weapon. He doesn't really show his plant ability. Which sucks since it could've been more interesting. The ML is the adopted brother of the male protagonist. They arent enemies but the mother is and she gets what she deserves (her actions get pretty gross tho even if it's only mentioned
Spoiler

she thinks the ML is just a normal human so she attempts to feed him mushed up zombie meat.

[collapse]
she also tries to drug him to make him weak during a zombie fight but gets caught.

World 13: Primitive world: Fierce ominous aggressor vs. Faux weak true boss receiver

FAVORITE! I love a good primitive world arc!! The MC pretends to be weak and is saved by the ML. The relationship goes pretty quickly because of the primitive setting. The female protagonist is an enemy. The MC does a lot like introducing more medicines, promoting agriculture, and pretending to be a deity to the clan priest. The villain of he book messes with the world setting by saying that the MLs eye color is bad luck. Which is why the ML is such an outcast.

World 14: Western fantasy: Innocent prince aggressor vs. Giant dragon boss receiver

Favorite! Typical western fantasy setting with orcs, elves, goblins, light magic, magicians, and a demon army. The MC is a dragon who suppressed the evil forces. He marries the ML prince. But before we can find out what happens after defeating the male protagonist they get trapped in the next world.

World 15: Future infinite online game, returning to the present. I didn't like the online game because the MC lost his memories and that almost makes them lose
Spoiler

the MC really thought it was only a game and in order not to be a burden he wanted to kill his game character self which would've killed or seriously hurt himself. But then he confesses and kisses the ML which gives the system the time to get his memories activated and stops him from stabbing himself.

[collapse]

Returning to present: they hold their taoist ceremony.

Also I love our other two couples:

The god in charge of the ten thousand small worlds and the red light evil thoughts Ying who was originally the MLs enemy at the start. This little red light is so cute! And innocent!

The system cat and the big black horned panther dirty is another cute couple that helps to keep the story cute

It's 7.5/10 for me. As this story is heavily based on romance which is of my type. If you want something other than romance then it's not for you cause the story is of MC and ML love.

Spoiler

1st arc builds the relationship between MC and ml. Ater which in next arc ML basically falls love at first sight with MC. ML will have different personalities in all arc. And will be villain/ cannon fodder. MC also plays the different role and help the ml. ML is possessive about MC. ML don't want MC to have contact with others but he doesn't restrict MC from contacting others. MC also likes the possessiveness of ML and have equal possessiveness. The relation is sweet and lovely.

[collapse]

Spoiler

MC mission is to bring the soul of ML to real world. They didn't had any romantic relation in real world. But MC had a crush on ml. And I think ML also had a crush on MC but couldn't express it for some reason which maybe revealed on last arc.

[collapse]

If you are expecting other than romance then you will be disappointed as its all about ML and MC love story.

Its a novel of romantic relationship between MC and ml. As ML pretty much falls for MC instantly. <<less

Putting 2 stars cause this book, for the first 30 chapters, made it very hard for me to continue. Dropping it because of 1 specific issue that I'm surprised no one is talking about: the g*ooming and child like themes.

Spoiler

In the first arc, MC basically groomed ML since he was 11-13. Of course it wasn't the bastardly kind, but it feels so odd to read about how an adult (cause MC is a celestial being here and hence doesn't age) takes care of a child from young until grown up, and then proceeds to be a couple. I wouldn't have been so grossed out by it if the author didn't kept on insisting about how MC is taking care of a child every 2 chapters. MC knows his actions are despisable, but like he says, he didn't have nice intentions to begin with. He purposely tried to make ML all dependent on him with the hopes that he would come to fall in love MC. Thank god ML already knew who he was before this, and thank the gods that MC wouldn't have done this if it wasn't ML inside the body. If not I would have been more disgusted. This is where I realised they are both crazy, because low and behold ML became a semi yandere and locked MC in.

[collapse]

See, I thought that was the end. I'm fine with child like themes found in bottoms, cause it seems that I can't ever run away from phrases like "I took care of him, he is like my child" and "so cute, sweet, naive with watery round eyes" but the second arc really takes it to the next level.

Spoiler

In the second arc, MC is basically autistic. I'm not even gonna address the autism writing because this kinda of novels never ever get it right, so it's not a requirement for me. But holy shit, the author keeps on trying to push the agenda of 'Look at how cute, child like our MC is!' It doesn't even help that we have an additional person aka the sister (in the story) spending every chance she gets (an exaggeration) talking sbout how she views her brother as a child and spoils and is really overprotective of him. This doubles with the way she treats him, making him wear teddy bear patterned pajamas and teddy bear themes clothes. The ML keeps thinking our MC is sweet, naive and innocent too. You literally can't run away from it. Even the MC thinks that the sister's actions are inevitable.

[collapse]

So yeah, 2 stars. I literally can't stomach reading it. Child like themes in Chinese novels like this are normal, I have long accepted it. But reading about it in also every chapter is driving me insane. I'm dropping this. <<less

This novel features your usual QT plot with emphasis on the MC and ML's relationship. A shame that although it has all the elements I like (yandere ML, doting love, saving the ML) but was poorly written. There are minimal dialogue and reads like a summary, completely subverting the "show, not tell" rule. The plot was alright but the writing was too dry for me to continue.

This novel is so good. The simple yet sweet style of story telling is just right to read with plentifull of short and sweet arcs. Not too overyly dramatic but yet with sweet interactions of the main cp. Even though theres always on how the ML always love at 1st sight, always a vinegar jar and paranoid or when MC always been described on how beautiful or adorable and yet also very straightforward, its not boring. Lol. Both of them were really dominant and fluffy sweet. The translation is excellent,... more>> the story flow and plot is really solid. Author style of writing always resonates with each arc setting, which make the story interesting.

There were a few side cps too, which were cute and interesting. For me I enjoyed the whole book and its a good read without too much drama, light, fluffy and short entertaining chapters. Thank you <<less

Although it was set up that both ML and MC are very possessive and red-flag-match-made-in-heaven kind, it was uncomfortable to read. Because it felt too romanticised. I genuinely tried to power through it, coz it's a yandere ml. But the second arc was just too much for my willpower to power through.

Spoiler

In the first arc, MC basically raised ml. Granted, MC was only a few years older in the arc world, but he was still a grown man with the awareness of it while ML in the world was still a child with no previous memory. The way he showed affection, however genuine it was, it still felt very wrong and manipulative.

Also the ML confining the MC due to his misunderstandings from "rich imagination"; although I get where he's coming from, that's such a drastic move and you didn't even try to verify the truth. Thankfully it wasn't dragged on for long.

As a few other comments mentioned, the complete inaccurate representation of autism was a major reason for the distaste. I don't know if it was mistranslation or some confusion, but the author was probably going for PTSD.

Also in the second arc, ML being so possessive and jealous about MC when mc's sister in that world showing her affection to her little brother just irked me. The sister really loved her brother and wanted to do the best for him and she was working hard, managing business to ensure that. And this guy glaring at her whenever she tried to get close to her brother and also not giving her any food when she is back from work early while they are having dinner (due to og!brother's personality they don't have any helping staff at home). She hired you, and is your lover's sister, at least you could give her a portion of food when she back from work. Overall the way ML was possessive and weird about MC and sister interacting was too ridiculous.

Another part of what make this arc even more bothersome is, again, g*ooming behaviour. The ML doesn't know MC isn't reclusive like the og. Yet he still takes advantage of the "unawareness" and "ignorance" of the MC to 'make him familiar with physical interactions' (hugs and kisses done with the intention of making reclusive MC be open to the idea of relationship; although MC doesn't object ML doesnt know abt it, WHERE IS THE CONSENT щ (゜ロ゜щ)).

The point that bothered me truly was the description of MC looking a teenager even when he is a adult, be it 19 or 20s. And the fact this point is somehow written like a captivating feature of his beauty.

[collapse]

Other than these points, what I genuinely appreciated was the misunderstandings between them gets cleared pretty quickly. <<less

Wanted to read about vampires and I skipped to that specific arc. And I'm obsessed with this couple that is obsessed with each other. I do think the sub-couple parry off the main couple, and I can't say they add more substance, but their presence pads out the world canon and centers it back to the original protagonist of the small world. From the opening chapters from the first to the eleventh world, I could tell the writing did improved but the story did not evolve to be any more... more>> complex than advertised.
This story is like a field of cotton. I think this story is best enjoyed cherry picking favorite tropes; esp if you are a seasoned quickwear. If you are interested in the story's continuity, you could just go back to read from the beginning and it won't harm the enjoyment of a seasoned quickwear reader. <<less

I had this on my "plan to read list" but all the arcs sound familiar so can't remember if I actually read this or if I've just read too many world hopping stories and there are limited plots xD

Later edit: I had not read this before and the following is my review as I read. Also, I like that the ML and MC always find each other fast in each world.

It seems familiar? Still not quite sure if I read it before or not.

Second arc follows the trope of... more>> confusing autism with PTSD and being introverted as a result of said PTSD. Also ML,
Spoiler

if you're not sure whether or not the MC actually understands about being in a relationship, why are you making a move??? Lucky for you he wants the relationship as badly as you do >.> And to be fair, I doubt the ML would act like that towards anyone else.

[collapse]

Pfft. Made for each other couple though.
Spoiler

First arc ML locks up MC for a bit. Second arc, MC locks up ML for a bit. And both are willing to be locked up by the other. An equal relationship.

[collapse]

Maybe I haven't read this one before?

Anyway, arc 3,
Spoiler

It might have been fun if there had been more about OgFL being a fujoshi xD

[collapse]

Arc 4, more proof these two are made for each other.
Spoiler

MC is like, my identity wouldn't stay here, so let me pretend to have amnesia to stay with ML a bit. ML is like, *falls in love at first sight, probably due to previous worlds* oh, you have amnesia?... actually we're lovers.

Side note--I only condone ML's action here because MC is fully on board, and it's fairly certain ML wouldn't have done this to anyone else ever.

[collapse]

It's around this arc that I started noticing names being mixed up sometimes--I do know based on translator comments in other novels that sometimes this is the author making the mistake, not the translator, and since it's usually obvious, I let it be. But the weird suddenly defining words here and there is making me hope this isn't mtl or ai... either that or it's the author or translator seriously doubting readers intelligence.

I feel like the arcs are getting faster as they go on... not a good or bad thing.

Arc 6, I feel like it would have been interesting if they had gone further into information about the world and
Spoiler

the bond between the siblings. They do show just enough, but it would have been fun to see more.

[collapse]

Interesting that there's more of an undercurrent to the story than expected.
Spoiler

I'm interested in what the deal with the shadow of the gu is

[collapse]

The vampire arc
Spoiler

has a sudden second couple! No idea why all of a sudden. They're cute together too though edit--and they become the secondary couple of the entire story later

Last arc starts a little confusingly,

but at least it gets an explanation--MC is the one without memories this time!

The author has done it again. The 3rd in the QT series in this multiverse and it was still basically as enjoyable. Super long one. Nominally 208 chapters but essentially each of these chapters have 2 chapters included so the 190ish translated chapters is only like less than half of the story.

Arcs were a lil less creative than in the last work but still equally as fun. Mild gripe is that the author made more of the worlds BE/were forced to leave the world early due to the enemy being... more>> too strong or uncontrollable. There's even two different enemies so it gets pretty complicated. Lots of other CPs created or mentioned too, with small cameos from the previous two couples.

Always appreciate when the couple is equally crazy about each other. Paranoia and obsession on both sides is truly delicious. Enjoyed this. <<less

The dynamics 5/5 I just love it when the 2 sides are equally crazy for each other and shows no restraint. But on the other side I admit some major parts forced my moral beliefs. I had to skim over or turn off my brain and logic to read. Overall 4/5 for me.

this is a good novel. There are a few arcs that I didn't like because the main character was overacting. But there are a lot of good episodes. And the main character is just as paranoid as the main male character. They have a strong love and need for each other. And a cute supporting couple that are really fun to watch.

This was quite good in terms of the lack of s*upid misunderstandings but was other wise quite standard for the genre, that's not to say it's not good, it's really good. One thing to note though is that it's actually the third book in a series and while there isn't much overlap with the previous two books some of the side characters who show up randomly to solve the problems are from the other books.

Like most QT, this is a very simple and sweet compilation of short stories. There's no over the top dramas dragging for chapters and the world plots are very interesting, including the original MCs; be them evil or not.

Keep in mind the title of the novel. It's a heavily romanticized novel about paranoia, possessiveness, obsession, jealousy; the whole Yandere pack. They want to the only one in each others world; the most beautiful, the most adorable, the most loved being. It could be suffocating for any normal person HOWEVER... more>> they both like it and are willing to accept each others huge red flags LMAO

A match made in hell heaven 😂

The translation is good and easy to read, with only some minor errors like using the same name for the villain and then the MC when they're related, or paragraph repeated twice; but I only encounter it 3 or 4 times, so... whatever 🤷🏽‍♀️

The thing that made me almost drop it was actually a bug from the site 🫠 my Adblock is off but the site insisted in giving me a warning 💀 so I had to refresh the site multiple times during my read. It was annoying AF

Anyways, I highly recommend if you're a huge fan of QT novels 🥳 <<less
