It's a decent romance with quite likable characters, but there are a few problematic points. I'm not sure if it's because of the translator, author, or both (probably both), but there are some scenes that are a bit confusing. For example, the author has an annoying habit of starting a scene without mentioning the name of the character involved besides the MC, so we have to either guess it from the context or wait a while for the author to eventually mention the name. There are a few scenes where... more>> it's never mentioned and I still don't know who it was the MC spoke with. There are also a few scenes where I suspect the TL was unable to follow the author's train of thought, just translating literally what's said without truly understanding the context, which results in us readers also being confused about what's going on.

On the same vein, there are a lot of scenes that feel somewhat... awkward. The writing or dialogue aren't really bad, per se, but there's often this nagging feeling of unnaturalness about the character interactions. It's hard to put a finger on the cause, though, and it might be in some part the translator's fault.

The majority of the story is spent building up the relationship between the main character couple. It's fairly slice-of-lifey, with a few slightly sweet moments mixed in. MC takes quite a while to realise his own feelings, but when he finally does, he's relatively quick to take action and confess - it's natural, though, since she can read his thoughts, so it'd be pointless to try to hide his feelings once he's self-aware of them.

Once they start dating, there's very little physical intimacy up to the 81st chapter (note that the story is complete at 85 chapters). They often hold hands, there's one very brief kiss, but that's it. I can understand being hesitant about major steps such as kissing (though it's a bit much that he's still dragging his feet for several chapters after she directly asks for it), but the lack of hugs, headpats or the like is dampening the feelings of sweetness quite a bit. There's a decent amount of flirty dialogue, though.

As a final thought, a warning for those who, like me, are bothered by a certain trope... namely, the MC being overly sensitive about calling a girl by her first name. In the 81 chapters I've read, the MC and FL never once call each other by their given names. Well, this MC has a hard time calling ANYONE by their first name, even his closest male friend had to go to great lengths to train him to do that, but the FL doesn't push the issue either. It's a ridiculous feeling when the FL is on first name basis with all her male friends, including one who could be called the MC's love rival, but not with her own boyfriend. Makes them feel more emotionally distant than they actually are. I of course know the cultural context, but I feel like this author takes the trope too far, it's annoying.

Well, for all my complaints, it's still a pretty good read. It's just, you know... A few errors in an otherwise grammatically correct text (which, by the way, happens in this translation as well) bothers me as much if not more than the multitude of errors in MTL'd text. The same applies to this story: it's basically a good, well written story, but there are a few problems that stick out and I can't help ranting about them. <<less

This is a meaninglessness story presented episodically as each chapter describes some interaction between thr fMC and the MC.

At chapter 30, the banter between the teo have been lackluster. Due to short chapter lenght and confusing (jumping from thoughts to spoken words) dialogue it falls short of the potential of the synopsis.

It's pretty good. Way better than I thought. The settings is good enough already but the interaction of the characters is also intresting.

It's possible that I'm reading too hard into it but
Spoiler

the reason fMC is interested in MC is because he is the protagonist of a FPP story so his monologue is not really his own thoughts but the author's. She said it's weird how he thinks of himself as if he's talking about someone else, which, in my opinion is a really interesting plot point.
