That Year, The Seven-Year-Old Boy Took His Sister into The Cultivation World, and Then, All The Cultivators Went Crazy!

When you come to cultivate, it doesn’t matter if your talent is good or bad, if you have many treasures, if you have an opportunity. What you must remember is that there is one person you cannot provoke.

Although this person is not a cultivator.

But his knife is faster than light, so fast that you don’t even have time to mobilize your spiritual power.

His fist is heavier than the sky, so heavy that it can make this world stop rotating with one punch.

His mouth is even more vulgar than me, so vulgar that it can make the blazing sun shed tears and the bright moon burn.

Who is he? He is a handsome guy who has no talent for cultivation, but practices martial arts in the cultivation world.

Many years later, all the top cultivators in the cultivation world asked him, “Brother Lin, why do you, a martial artist, have to run into the cultivation world?”

The teenager smiled and answered, “I just don’t have the talent for cultivation, but I really enjoy playing in the cultivation world. Everyone there is talented, speaks elegantly, and has all kinds of fancy special talents. Oh I really like it in there.”

The cultivators collectively despaired: “You like it? You like charging in with a knife and chopping up half the cultivation world?”

I don't want to admit it but I somewhat liked this novel for a while.

The novel is filled with grade school level of humor, aka fart and poop jokes, stuffing bricks in the butt, kid gangs etc. Yet it made sense as the MC and his friends were kids. MC is somewhat charming, a pure brat kind of a kid. Sadly, even when the MC is a teenager and near to becoming an adult, he remains the same, and by the way the novel seems to be going, it won't... more>> change even in the future.

That by itself would not make me drop the novel though. What did was the big bad enemy MC is gonna face - the mu*derous, bad mannered, greedy, double faced, most vile of the evils in the world - JAPAN. Yes, its the evil Japanese people that terrorise the poor good mannered, kind, loyal Chinese people.

I shouldn't be surprised, as it is a Chinese novel, but God damn was it just out of nowhere the author decided to pull that shet out, and by the look of it, is gonna be a big part of the novel.

If it wasn't for that, it would be around 2.5/5, maybe more, maybe less, depending how the story would go on. <<less

There is not too much translated, but the read is enjoyable so far.

The sibling dynamic so far is quite cute.

I think the synopsis gives too much away about the future of the story.

Talent has yet to be tested, but the synopsis already spoils that reveal.

Story is fun so far. It's a cultivation comedy very much like the other novels translated by No Bad Novel.

53 chapters into the novel, and I can say that I like it. Though I don't like this as a cultivation/action novel, but more for its humor. This novel's humor is based on the gap between the main character's, Lin Xiaolu's personality and his talents/childish demeanor. Imagining a child strutting around, acting like a gang leader to every strong cultivator around is humorous.

This far into the novel, the main character is still a child so the humor is still pretty funny for now, but WindyWind's review tells a grim future... more>> for this novel. I can definitely say that I would not like this novel if the main character grows up unchanged with the same type of humor and character. Being arrogant as a child is cute but continuing to be arrogant even as a teenager is sigh inducing. Especially if the joke has gone on for too long.

Of course, he has no cultivation talent, abundant martial arts talent, a lot of effort, and amazing fighting sense to face slap many people and provoke violence, but action and face slapping is a dime a dozen in Chinese webnovels. So, I rated it highly for now while it makes me laugh. But once he grows up, I'll probably drop the novel. <<less
