I had lost everything. My life had been a series of tragedies since my wife was killed: I couldn’t properly face my daughter and I eventually ended up framed by another aristocrat. Right before my execution, I managed to help my daughter escape, and thought at least I’d accomplished that much.

Then, I regained consciousness. I had traveled back in time.

Very heartwarming; it's like reading a villainess novel from her dad's POV; only complaint was I wish it was longer.

I liked the concept, but it was very flat and tried to fit too much into too little space. It's a nice take on the whole Otome Game/Villainess theme, this time from the POV of the father. The problem is the father is the only character to speak of, and he has about zero growth. The way the plot is revealed is also substandard. The father just states he did things and there's not much else to it. Everything is presented as fait accompli and the story moves on.

Bottom... more>> Line: There's a much better one where the MC incarnates as the father of a proper villainess but decides to raise her right, correct his family and in general live a good life. <<less

A story from a Villainess's father's PoV.

I quite liked it. *Wipes the tear from the corner of the eye.*

It is straight forward and written really well with right timeframes and also translated well. I was looking for stories where the parents get reincarnated and saves the family and found the the right one almost immediately.

My wish has been satisfied.

It was a straightforward story. Nothing unique. If you want a short story about a villainous noble girl, this is one. It was a short and simple read. There was a lot of things not mentioned about the relationships, development, and motives. Characters were mostly 2.5D. The writing was okay.

plot: 2/5

writing: 3/5

... more>> characters: 2/5

Bonus: Minimal Deadwood and unnecessary explanations.

Translation: Decent

overall:3/5

It was an average read. It is short, so I would recommend it if you want the satisfy your cliche urges about villainess noble girl flipping the tables (or in this case, the father). <<less

For a oneshot, this one was delightful. It is a fast read and a pretty simple tale. One could say that maybe more would be better, but this is a taste of what could be, so that is that. I would just prefer some more details of his revenge, but this is fine either way. I do hope to see the long-form novel one day for sure.

I have to say, I was a little disappointed. It's not bad by all means, but I expected it to be more personal and more about the social interactions, but it just felt like it was from a narrator's point of view. The reveal of the villain didn't feel so realistic either. But it's an alright, quick read.

Wipes tears its raining quite a bit isn't it?

Jokes aside pretty simple wholesome story. I have a soft spot for hard working parents so this was a great read

Rated 5 stars but apparently it didn't record it. Excellently done but basically reads as a summary. Very short. Everyone got what they deserved, which was REALLY satisfying.

Pity it's very short.

The story is good, just that I didn't like they made the others s*upid to make the protagonists to look smart.

A sweet story of Villainess husband protecting his wife and child. Definitely a worthwhile read despite what I mentioned earlier.

Short and shallow. The politics don't make an ounce of sense but are such a big part of the story. He, his wife, and his second child don't even have names. Nothing truly made sense.
